as soon as they introduced him, I knew he would be a character that we are made to love and then lose. What killed me is when they had poor Tian Huo FINALLY open up and start to love again only to cut it super short. that was just rubbing salt on a wound we knew was coming. My heart 😿

mmhm. 😅Man, you reminded me of that drama - the trailer for that drama played up the steam so much that I was let down when I actually watched it. 😂I think they just put all the steam in the trailer and then the actual drama was just slow and full of non-sensical breakups😖

in an earlier comment, I noted ML was a whole green medicinal garden. Boy was I wrong. This man is a whole dang green rainforest!!!!! I swear no such man exists and I loved every second of seeing one on screen!🥰 The mature relationship. The phenomenal chemistry…I think my phone melted with those kiss scenes, especially that bathroom one!🫣😳 I was afraid at 22 how they’ll pull off 6 more eps. I feared the worst, but wow! They surprised me. 🥺Amazingly done ending! I will truly miss the entire cast. IDK if I’ll be able to watch anything for the next few days 😭

How am I goofy smiling as I watch this sweet cotton candy fluffy cuteness?!? Like. Stop. (No don’t!) How are they so adorable together? I’m not even mad about the long build up to this point. This man is a whole green (medicinal) garden! FL is finding herself and becoming confident. IDK what will happen in the last few eps, but please keep the happy coming. 🙏🏼

I rewatched this because I gave it a 8.5. What in the world was I thinking??!? I have never rescored something after a second watch but I brought this down to 7.5 because SML was around the entire drama being annoying! He did a bad thing when young and then never confessed so ML got blamed. He then messes with OTP without realizing at first and then PURPOSELY, YETTT everyone seems to just forgive him??? I can’t with bad behavior that just goes unpunished! What a psycho. he only tells the truth about FL’s cure because he is forced to - in order for ML to save her. It’s not even like his conscience spoke up. disgusting!

oh oh. Another annoying thing. I know actors personally and they go through so much training to get somewhere in their career. It’s a very competitive world and it’s hard work. YET they show ML’s sis being scouted off the street, take a few classes and then go into this main role on a production with a lot of buzz. WHY was everyone surprised that she sucked the first day of the shoot? The director and her brother seem super frustrated and annoyed. They are seasoned professionals and they didn’t see this coming? 🙄

After the first few eps of weirdness and FL being red flag, the show turned kind of nice as ML realized his feelings and tried to pursue her but then he started to show some weird red flag behavior and then FL started pushing away a little too hard. It felt like she was doing it partly out of spite and partly to play hard to get. Every time I think the drama might be okay, OTP does something that makes me annoyed. Like when everything was fine between them and FL knew there’s a chance he’ll confess during the location scouting trip, yet she refused to get in the backseat with him and made everyone feel awkward. Next minute, she’s all over him out of concern. Just too much push and pull when it’s already ep 18.

eps 8-10 were frustrating but otherwise an okay drama with nothing mind blowing (plot wise or chemistry). It had so much potential too. I love contract ship dramas 😭

hold up. she stalked him and then gave the MOST superficial reasons for liking him, but then got mad at him for rejecting her and blamed him for making her misunderstand and stringing her along? I can withstand a lot of craziness in dramas. I have watched enough fluffy romcoms and even those silly short cdramas. yet, here we are. I’m completely baffled by FL’s actions so far. That red dress was PERFECT for her. She is a giant red flag. 🤦🏻‍♀️

what is the release schedule for this drama?

ep. 21. I don’t get why FL was forcing him to drink more and more soup. she was that annoyed that the servants thought she was sleeping with her own husband? that was just weirdly prudish

“She heals my past. I’ll safeguard her future.” 😭 stobbb. I’m a sucker for these lines 🥹

just binged it in two days again and it’s still awesome the second time around. ML’s tears midway in ep 24. ugh. my heart. he did such a good job! his conflict and realization and change in how he feels about and relates to (older bro vs lover) was played out so well by CZY.

ZLS is ofc awesome as always. she captures being a little princess w/o being absolutely annoying and showed the character’s growth and maturity so nicely.

OTP romance was just so real. and their chemistry was phenomenal! omg I love this drama! I’m sure I’ll rewatch again next year 😂 there hasn’t been another cdrama like this. just feel good with positive characters around our leads.

ok. we got character development! FL acknowledged her actions in the heat of her anger we’re not appropriate and they acknowledged lack of communication by both sides. they didn’t drag that out although the drama overall could have been shorter. these 40 ep present day dramas always surprise me. anyways, OTP was adorbs!

also. why is it okay for the girl to always be upset about what the guy did but the guy has to be okay with the girl’s actions and embe the only one to “make up” for the disagreement/issue. 😑

I read some comments about FL’s business acumen and I saw that she would make an unsound business decision. I gave her benefit of doubt but wow, I should have realized how silly she would make that whole arc. I hate when they make FLs look emotional and clueless. they don’t need to be cold like ML, but they should have a little more sense than flying off the handles and taking actions that ultimately not only hurt the ML but hurt their business as well. it was going so well other than this ep. 31 snuffoo and I’m wondering how much we will have to experience this drag on. watch them not resolve their issues until the last two eps. 🙄
