this drama primary focuses on the business and there is literally a new problem every other (almost every) ep with the business. It was just so long winded with 40 eps. The big crisis finally hits at ep 33 and then it just felt like that business we were centering everything around is abandoned and it’s all over the place as they rush to tie up all the lose ends. DO NOT watch this for romance. FL takes forever to actually act on her feelings while ML chases her around like a puppy and at the same time like a red flag narcissist. It was cute while they were together for a FEW eps, but then I realized the FL only liked him when she realized how MUCH he had helped her and at the moment she saw trouble, she ran away. HORRIBLE communication skills. When do they resolve all their issues? See spoiler.

I’m so annoyed with her character that even the actress’s overbite/open bite is driving me crazy! I hate to be mean but she is so not redeemable!!

I tried to have sympathy for her because of her parasitic mother, but you are correct! I don’t buy that she doesn’t realize the dude is obviously in love with her. she just treats it like he is being a “brother” so she can keep him around as a doormat. Def got it from her mom. She creates non-existent conflict with FL when all we have seen from FL is she was living her life. If SFL doesn’t like her, then just have a nice conversation, why get mad and lecture like FL is a child? It has been so frustrating to watch her

SFL throws tantrums and makes demands like SHE owns the factory. I can’t with her mom or her atp 🤦🏻‍♀️

gawd, I DISLIKE zhaoyang’s mother like no other drama mother. that annoying cutesy voice and her selfishness!! I literally have to forward her scenes so I don’t throw my phone at the wall!

I’m excited for CFY’s new drama after forever. I hope they don’t ruin it. I always wait until dramas wrap to make sure it’s worth the time.

Arthdal Chronicles…the kdrama?

😂I see that you very much enjoyed this drama and are passionate about it. I don’t need fluffy rom-com drama or drama completely about romance. Although, I don’t like it when it gets forgotten and tossed aside but comes up randomly or as after thought. I loved Lighter & Princess so if it’s in that realm of romance, completely fine by me. I can def see the like-hate relationship up to ep 12 and I can tell from the setup that they’ll mature and grow as individuals and as a pair. Thank you for your time and the thoughtful (extensive 😆) response.

just want to set my expectations correctly- is this a slow burn where the romance is second seat a lot of business plotline? Seems so. With 40 eps, I can’t imagine how long they will go on this plot of her trying to revive this business 😱 Also, do you recall what ep they get together 😅TIA

Okay. I take back much of what I said. I approached this like a romance but at ep 20, I feel it’s more about friendship and growth and change of a nation and society to be more open to change and move towards equality of genders. The romance is more or less slow burn. FL and ML have a long way to go before they can be together. Technically there’s a SFL and you can’t even hate her - just the situation they are in. ugh 😩 The struggles

Is Li Wei actually smart or does she just get lucky? She doesn’t seem to be devising any brilliant plans or thinking beyond the next step - things just happen to work out in her favor. she doesn’t seem to be particularly resourceful or good at anything.To be honest, she’s driving me bonkers with how evasive she is being. When does she start to have legitimate scenes with Prince Zheng? Or maybe my real question is - when will BJT start getting more screen time? 😂

the amount of tears I have shed and I’m only starting ep 11 😭 it’s even more rough watching this as a mom. I swear I will hug my child everytime he asks for one from now on. I’m so scarred from this. Yet all the tears are so worth it because the story is so relatable. it’s giving me sad vibes but with so much warmth and hope too. my heartuuu 😢

I just saw him in Filter and came to check him out. I’m surprised he does not have any main lead or big support roles. He’s pretty good. I hope he gets some good rules soon.

I haven’t laughed this much watching a drama in a while. Literal LOL moments. The message was amazing. No crazy ex or seconds. The characters were all lovable (minus the obvious antagonist but that was minimal). Don’t read anymore comments or look over your PTW. Just watch this. The romance and skinship was so there! The way they kept us from hating the ML as he…ugh. Just watch it because I don’t want to spoil the amazingness. I am still laughing at “I must have got up the wrong way and turned the suspense mode on.” 😂 🤣 😂
