Aren’t there 24 eps?

Yes! I cringed in so many of those ML controlling moments, especially that one at the last episode. I think this especially bothered me because he was so dang good to her otherwise and for once a ML that puts FSL in her place and doesn’t let her get in between or cause misunderstandings.

I enjoyed this drama. It was more slice-of-life than anything as there was not much to the plot other than relationship between OTP and the SLs. The OTP definitely had chemistry, but some parts ML was overly controlling and it had all the vibes of becoming emotional abuse. This is one of Ireine’s best work. She avoided the cutesy thing and acted more mature so she didn’t come off as a “little sister” like in some of her other roles. It’s hard to show range in these aloof ML roles, but Aaron had moments of emotional spark that got me smiling/laughing. The end was a little frazzled and the last three episodes felt like they we’re trying to find a good way to fill time and end the show. It could’ve been better last episode.

Definitely worth watching as a good fluffy romance.

Why can’t we have a smart and strong female lead in these kinds of dramas without them being obnoxiously loud and abrasive? It’s either the over the top or the weak, dumb and submissive.

Overall, really fluffy, cute drama. The leads actually look super cute together. I love that the male lead was not overbearing or abrasive. He had me in the first episode where they bet on destiny and count the pedestrians...covering eye bit. The FL lead was adorable w/o being brainless and annoying. I liked her acting. There were some fast forward moments, but it’s rare to find a cdrama w/o those. Definitely watch for the romance!

Truly. I can’t even find it funny knowing it’s straight abuse IRL. A little TINY bit of jealousy is cute but if your man keeps you from your friends, requires you to ask permission to go places or do things, and physically restrains you to keep you in place, RUN (don’t walk) for the hills. IDK why dramas are still using the aggressive male so extensively when so many women are abused by men this way, and this drama does it in an especially glaring, cringey way. Ugh.

This whole “jealousy match” thing they are playing from ep. 12 or so onward is NOT cute. Also, let’s be mean b/c I like a girl is completely taking away from the little sparks of chemistry I saw at the beginning of show. Like, come on writer. The ML character better start playing nice soon. Ugh

Rather than angst, it’s a lot of side story. I skipped a lot of that stuff. I couldn’t stand the screaming line delivery by Mi Shao Fei.

He never tells her that her mother said all that, which I understand because it would have effected her relationship with her mother and ultimately made him look bad for tattling. Eps. 26 they go back to “liking each other” and there is solid ship at ep. 30 with a good ole social media declaration. Lol

I have been forwarding past as much of his stupidity as possible. Like dude is so easy to manipulate and can’t think things through. -_-

To add to my previous comment, her acting is much better in the newest drama she’s in, Professional Single.

Just because I didn’t mention anything about the actor playing ML doesn’t mean that I am suggesting he did a good job. He was a door knob and didn’t care to even bother. But I have not seen him in any other dramas that I can recall. Irene I have seen in many dramas and I roll my eyes every time.

The misunderstandings...well, the mistrust last forever. Ugh. At ep. 11 and the chemistry that was being built has almost disappeared because the highlight is in all the tricks and tests.
