He really cares for his brother tho, always tries to help when he can.
Yeah. You can see him hesitating and trying to find a middle ground. I’m just surprised he never found it odd that his uncle was always all up in his business.hehe
This part didn't annoy me at all, it makes sense and it also passes by really quickly as if nothing happened.…
It wasn’t ML’s voice, it was Xiumen’s voice. She said she has not been able to forget that voice and it replayed in her head but she has heard Xiamen speak before so why all of a sudden. Also, I like that they showed her as a cool, collected detective. While I understand she has been living a tough life and her goal is to find the man behind it all, there are plot holes to how she went berserk. (1) she always gathers all the evidence - they showed this multiple times and she had one circumstantial evidence and didn’t even verify whether the man she supposedly loves gave those order as Xiumen COULD have possibly been a traitor following someone else. (2) She doesn’t simply want to kill the evil doer since she wants to let the truth be known to clear her clan’s name. If she killed him, there would be no way to clear the clan. This can even be seen at the end when she upset when someone goes all crazy to kill the perpetrator and she says she’s been building a case and implies his action was not the way to do it.
LOL. Sorry for the long reply. I was just really liking the drama and sad the writer started losing the character development and the story didn’t end as neatly as it started. =)
Did that just happen at episode 22? How did she SUDDENLY hear his voice and connect the dots? Way to jump to conclusions.…
Seriously, I love this ML. I am super annoyed my FL. Her character just took a turn for the worst. Too bad I thought I finally found a rational, smart and bad ass FL. How many times did she lamely say, “I don’t know.” I am so freaking hurt for ML. That’s some rude or die kinda man. He deserves better!!
The chemistry was surprisingly on point but there seemed to be less and less screen time for OTP as the drama got to the midpoint, especially once they actually became a couple.
They also over-milked that ML missing his mother / feeling guilty. It just became too sappy to the point that I couldn’t connect with his emotions on the last episode and I’m a fairly emotional person.
I loved it. I enjoyed every second of the story and I’m usually the type who fast forwards random scenes but I was interested throughout. Lee Joon Gi, you beautiful human, I can watch your acting all day long!
I rather enjoyed that drama. I didn’t have any expectations going in but the story was decent and the chemistry was great.
The main antagonist (high priestess) has this weird going to sleep and seducing everyone at the same time voice that always put me out of the big good vs bad scenes and climaxes. Otherwise, good fluff with lots of kisses...lots.
Cracks me up when I watch SL acting without lines. His mannerism gives off a constipated, 90’s goth teenager...or…
After ep. 18, I’m so over SL. He is childish and brash. I can’t tell if it’s a poorly written character, bad acting or a combination...I’m guessing combo. Ugh
Cracks me up when I watch SL acting without lines. His mannerism gives off a constipated, 90’s goth teenager...or zombie. He just lobs his head to one side, droops his shoulder and his face says “I don’t care about life”
Started out as a decent cohabitation/contract marriage drama and built up good chemistry and then kind of fizzled out. It had potential but it built up good chemistry to end up not giving much skinship, kisses or even screen time. Also, FL started acting like a rock after the midway point or was it just me getting bored? LOL
I watch dramas after most of the episodes are out so I can binge. I couldn’t wait on this one though because I like FL and the trailer did a good job of reeling me in. I’m on episode 5 and it hasn’t disappointed so far. The chemistry is great and the ML is a good balance between a cold businessman and BF material. None of that jerk of a rich guy or super cold CEO nonsense here. I’m afraid of things going south with our OTP though because it’s getting so warm this early in in the drama. *excited*
Are there a lot of sad events? I just saw the first episode and noticed that the ending credits have a lot of sad moments. Do they take forever to get together? Do they break up once they are together?
Can anyone tell me what happened between the main lead and his friend?
ML rushes to friend’s rescue and gets injured. It makes friend feel a little guilty and it’s a wake up call for ML’s habitual lying father who finally apologizes to friend. Bromance starts anew as they team up to bid for a design project.

Please tell me this is clarified within the next episode or I’m forwarding through this nonsense.
