I'm the same way, any recs for quick to date or even just quick to realize their feelings dramas?
I’m watching “About Is Love” Right now and it’s still going in circles and there’s no self-realization (forget confession) on ep. 21. It’s killing me. I hit the forward button so often.
The romance is kind of dragging. She’s too dense to realize how good Xu Fang is to her. When will he confess? Or what episode does she wake up to his feelings? What episode do they start dating?
The more dramas I watch, the more impatient I become. Lol
Started off nicely as it was quite promising. Plot became repetitive, thin and boring around episode 12ish. Then the writer started throwing in a bunch of business jargon and mambo-jambo that idk if it was the translation, but did not make sense and made the storyline and it’s arcs confusing. Then it just fizzled out and finished. It was a happy ending and the couple were cute together. The ML especially grew on me and I hope to see him in future dramas. The FL’s laugh-cry made her look psycho but I could deal with it. It was an okay fluff drama in between or mixed with something more serious.
The OST on the other hand was amazing! How are the songs not on Spotify?? Still jingling in my head.
It gets better. Lots of characters growth....Lots of heart and comradery
I agree that they all had individual strength as to their careers and quite the perseverance. As I said earlier, yes, I appreciate the message of brotherhood and sticking up for each other. They really drilled that home. I specifically talking about the other pattern that was on repeat -> negative event happens, someone witnessed it happening to them or someone else and never speaks up or puts a stop to it.
I agree with many of your points, but it’s a particular aspect that I didn’t appreciate- the antagonist went unchecked throughout the drama until they had managed to really mess things up for others and there was always someone along the way that could have held them accountable, but didn’t.

Everyone essentially needs their hands held in order to say something. That nervous player in VNG needs the other guy to go with him to tell Teacher Lou. FL never stands up to antagonist and stops her craziness. She simply reacts to her actions and constantly falls for her traps.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the sweetness and brotherly love, but the characters really could have grown more as strong individuals
That “stepmom” is such a b*^ch! That dad is worthless. What kind of father just...ugh...rest of my rant below…
How could the dad not stop his daughter from just leaving like that and not realize how she’s hurting due to his immediate marriage. Come back in the picture so much later because his son brings it up. Then reaches out again for his daughter when his stepson needs her assistance. Then he doesn’t have a backbone to stop crazy stepmom. Ugh
When the alchemist calls out Xie Xiao for being the troublemaker At the start of episode 26 and asks that he stay behind...LOL...truer words could not have been spoken! I’m so over his shit!
The quicker ones I can think of off the top of my head:
Love O2O
Go Go Squid
Boss & Me
My Mr. Mermaid
