Bei Shan could have just gone to the police and said, "I wanted to get back at her for what they did to my girlfriend. I didn't mean to k*ll, it happened by accident." But he went above and beyond and pretentiously attacked Chen Nian (and some girl) and added huge r*pe and ass**lt charges to his m*rder charges. Those parts were unnecessarily dramatic of him.
Also, is it just me? The drama of not being able to find a job after being released from prison occurs a lot in dramas. So Chen Nian becoming a teacher... It was a nice vision, It was nice that Chen Nian took it upon herself to protect the children from the troubles she suffered, but it was unrealistic.
I kept postponing it because the subject matter was so heavy, but I finally watched it. It was absolutely good. I loved the characters and desperately wanted them to have a happy ending throughout the movie. My only problem...
First of all, this is a Netflix series, so... One of the main characters from Itaewon Class was transgender, and one of the secondary couples from Nevertheless, was a lesbian couple. (These are just the first series that come to my mind) While they already include positive representation, I don't think anyone would say anything about the bad representation that drives a character to s**c*de. Also, we're not talking about a passionate kiss. It was like Ji Sung and Park Seo Joon's kiss (that happened) in KMHM, minus the comedy part.

I'm not a native English speaker, so I may not have been able to express it clearly. I already agreed with your opinion and tried to explain (so sure, it's an explanation) why "people aren't freaking out over him" at this moment. And I didn't say that your comment was entirely unfair, but unfair considering the timing, this moment. What I'm trying to say is, yes, your comment would be fair if Kyungsoo's movies were in theaters, his dramas were released on Netflix right now and there was no reaction, no freaking out. But like I said, there's nothing to people freaking out over Kyungsoo's schedule.
Woah times have changed...it seems like D.O has flown under the radar. He went from having ballistic fans of not…
I think this is an unfair comment considering the timing. Kyungsoo's latest drama, Bad Prosecutor, received very good ratings and became the most watched drama of each day it aired. He literally won the Best Actor award for his role. It didn't resonate with the global kdrama audience because 1 it was a law drama w/o any romance, 2 it aired on national tv, which didn't hit most streaming platforms. And his last work before that was in 2018. He was in the military for 2 years and when he came, he silently shot two films and a drama. There was nothing to people freaking out over. And Kyungsoo can't get on the radar of the global kdrama audience, because he very rarely appears in rom-com dramas (which is preferred by 90% of the kdrama audience) and let's face it, Kyungsoo doesn't have the ideal, tower over the female lead kinda tall and muscular male lead look. And considering the questionable popular idol-actors—the required acting talent (which Kyungsoo has proven himself) isn't an important criterion for most. And I just hope that Kyungsoo continues to choose quality works without worrying about being mainstream. (I'm not even going into his kpop career because what kpop career? He hasn't done anything musically, neither solo nor as a group since his discharge. So it's too early to comment. We'll see next month.)
the same with li zi wei meeting the kid version of Huang Yu Xuan while HYX is in the same timeline in the body…
Li Zi Wei had a car accident and travelled into Wang Quan Sheng's body. And after living as Wang Quan Sheng and dying in a plane crash, he returned to his own body in the same time period as the car accident. Li Zi Wei underwent physical therapy, and at one point Mo Jun Jie got out of jail and that's how they met.

I refuse to believe that girls like NaNa actually exist in rl. How many times do they have to say not interested or literally run away for her to give up? It's not cute nor funny.
I still don't understand why they're so suspicious of Xinyan/Manning, as if Xinyan didn't actually exist. If she…
Lin Mufan is such a creep. He went to Spain after Xinyan, whom he only knew as a child. And then he fall in love with Manning after speaking two sentences. So much that he is obsessed with the idea that Xinyan is Manning, not actual Xinyan. And I understand to some extent the second guys who fall in love by witnessing the charm of the main girl, even from afar, or by being impressed by her friendly intimacy. But Manning only approached Lin in a formal manner. Not even a smile to cause misunderstanding. He's really creepy.
I still don't understand why they're so suspicious of Xinyan/Manning, as if Xinyan didn't actually exist. If she hadn't died, she would have gone back to China anyway. It's a fact that there are two people with identical faces. Just say, I understand there's a girl named Manning who looks like me but I'm Xinyan, so stop comparing us. I'm starting to get tired of the unnecessary tension they create.
i don't think that actually happened tho. in the last shot when they're on the motorbike he's wearing his school…
She meant the scene where Zi Wei meets the actual Yu Xuan from that time period. When Zi Wei skipped school and bought street food, the 5ish-year-old girl who came to him was Yu Xuan. It was really uncomfortable when the little girl kept asking Zi Wei what kind of girls he liked.
Well for people who watched the original how big is the love triangle??
I say this as someone who hates love triangles and passes by without even reading the synopsis when I see three people on the cover: It's not a big deal. I guess it's okay to say that since it's written on the synopsis. Since Yu Xuan travels into Yun Ru's body, it's like there are four characters (in that time period).
This should've been a movie or a mini-series. Or it should've been an anthology instead of focusing on a single case. I'm only in episode 10, I know they won't be able to solve any sh*t since there're 6 more episodes, and I'm bored.
He's such a creep. I can't stop laughing at the ridiculousness.
Just finished it. Don't get me wrong, he's actually really great guy. They're so cute together— (Except for those scenes... I can't take it seriously, still laughing my a** off.)
I liken her to Kim So Yeon. I think their lips and smiles are pretty similar. I would like to see Joy with Se Yeon in a drama, as her daughter, sister, or her youth self.
Scientifically, women mature faster than men of their age. When women are younger, they can match the maturity…
Lol thanks for forewarning. Your whole essay is indeed bs. Of course, I don't mean that it applies to every single woman in the world. As you said, you are the most obvious example of this. And the chore and babying thing -which is not praising, just my observation- was just one small example. (I guess Koreans are stuck in the 50s too, because you can find examples of this a lot in kdramas.) First of all, I never said that one gender is MORE mature than the other. I said women mature FASTER than men. And at least I didn't use words like "I think" when giving information. — https://healthland.time.com/2013/12/19/why-girls-brains-mature-faster-than-boys-brains/ — https://www.mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/sex-relationships/relationships/men-mature-much-later-women-1944573 — "So if women mature earlier, does it mean they are also more mature? Women’s brains are wired for social interactions. But this does not mean they are more mature than men." https://medium.com/@universalintelligencespace/men-or-women-the-more-mature-gender-71cb44c323f1 — Lastly, how did I end up being misogynistic? I gladly return your outrageous accusations. You're the one who said that men are more mature than women. Google is free btw. If you're not going to talk about subjective things, I recommend using it before you speak.
Scientifically, women mature faster than men of their age. When women are younger, they can match the maturity…
Uhm because the work requirements are intelligence, not maturity. Both a person who study physics and spend their lives in a locked room, and a person who study physics and gain experience by living their lives outside can be qualified for the same job. But those two can never be at the same level of maturity. Of course, when it comes to romance, that is, human relationships, maturity applies. That is one of the main thing (human relationships) where we gained experience and matured. And it's still a reality in most cultures, and especially in Asia, that given responsibilities to girls such as houseworks at an early age and, babying the boys. It's impossible for the two genders to reach the same maturity in such an environment.
