Wowwwwwww! Amazing! Absolutely amazing! There are quite a few bad opinions on this drama but I, personally, disagree with all of them. I had watched the Chinese remake sometime back and I can say that the only common thing they have is the basic, the very basic plot, which would be the fact that it revolves around a woman in her late thirties who starts getting love advice from a man. Except that, they share no similarity, completely independent of each other. This was extremely fun. I agree, maybe the first few episodes, ep 1 &2, may have been a bit slow but then, without realizing, I was enjoying myself so much! Ep 6, especially the first half, is too funny! I am totally in love with the chemistry between Tachibana and Tokura. They were the literal best! I agree that in the end there should have been some explicit romantic gesture but honestly...it was fine. I disagree with everyone who says she should have ended up with Ryotaro! As she says in the end, she can be her true self only with Tokura. Their bickering and loud love advices was, without them knowing, pulling them together. Tokura fell in love with the woman whom he said had no qualities that could make a man fall in love with her and Tachibana fell in love with the man who she said had a bad personality, was eccentric etc. Worth a try! At least I had a very good time!
WOW! This movie is in a league of its own! It is a MUST-WATCH and probably has the best "WHAT?!?" factor I have ever encountered. The cast did a very wonderful job at delivering the story and undoubtedly that is thanks to a wonderful screenplay and directing.
Personally, you should watch One and Only first. So that you would understand and would enjoy this much more esp.…
I am very much like you (cry easily), but the tears I shed on One and Only was worth it. I think watching One and Only makes you feel Forever and Ever very very precious. (One and only despite its ending is also very precious to me).
Should I start this?Everyone is crying in the comments Is it all sad?
It is sad, but not all sad. The MC have their sweet moments in the early episodes. They are the kind of couple where no explicit ways are needed to show how much they gradually come to love each other. You get to see a relationship which may have begun as a master and disciple evolve into something neither of our main leads anticipated. Thanks to our ML's vow, we already knew that no solid romantic relationship can build between them, our MC also knew that fact but the love for each other in their hearts is very touching. After a bit more than half way through the series you see the sad part coming. Knowing that I will cry, knowing what will happen in the end (you will know what I am talking about if you have seen the other spoilers ), I still went it into it. Yes it's sad (they both d** :( ) but.... But it's absolutely beautiful. The whole show is just beautifully done. You know it's sad but it's too good to resist (at least that's how it was for me) and ofc the actors have all contributed to the beauty with their on point acting.
So yes, i think you should watch it. Don't avoid it just because it is sad, in the last episode I was sad but I felt wholesome too. And ofc we all know a happy ending is waiting for them in their next life - the sequel- Forever and Ever.
I want to start this so, so bad but I think waiting for eps to be released will kill me. It was a real struggle…
Me tooooo! I was in the same situation as you until a few hours ago... I gave in. I regret but don't regret it at the same time. I am sure I will go crazy waiting but the episodes are so beautiful <3
I am scared that TOOL will become a bigger hit than YRMG seeing the view count??I also think that TOOL will also…
Though I want to deny it, somewhere inside me I do think the same thing. That's why I decided to stop caring about it (or so i tell myself). Both dramas have a wonderful cast and though TOOL hasn't aired yet, I think it will turn out be good. What matters at the moment, for me, is to enjoy YAMG. I am not kidding when I say that this has to be the first drama where I watch all the episodes (that have released) while waiting for the next ones (i mean I love Dilireba and Yang Yang a bit too much). I am enjoying YAMG wholeheartedly and also looking forward to TOOL.
