It genuinely feels like I have been living under a rock! How in the world have I never seen a drama with Sky and Nani before?!?!?!? Such amazing actors! And I know this is a bromance drama (have seen the original School 2013) but the peak chemistry these two share.. I can't help but look forward to a BL drama starring these two! Both are amazing beyond words! With their expressive eyes, the way they have naturally adapted to the character...just wow. Definitely among the best I have seen this year 🫶

I totally agree! I have never really liked the pairing of ForceBook in light of their past dramas but, I am surprised as to how much I am actually enjoying their story.
Was very, VERY hesitant to start the series due to the mixed comments but I am pleasantly surprised (to the say least). I have never really been able to see more than an episode of any series of ForceBook, but after their cameo in Peaceful Property, I thought I could give this a chance. Won't deny that my primary interest in this series is PerthSanta but didn't expect to enjoy the story of ArcArm as much as I am doing right now.
I think everyone who is feeling a little hesitant due to the same thing can definitely give it a try... The comedic elements work wonderfully for me but I know everyone's preference must differ, nonetheless, it deserves a chance :)

I did feel the same as you...like 5 episodes in and I was wondering whether this is how the drama is gonna be and is this really it?? But now I am counting the hours till the next episode, far too addicted to this show. So, I think you should be a little patient till episode 10 (1/4th of the Drama, a kind of a standard test I use before dropping or continuing a drama), and if it still does not rope you in...maybe it was not your cup of tea.

That is exactly what I thought too!! It was so weird how the conversation suddenly came about...how the hell do you say that to your to-be daughter-in-law. Also, knowing LMT, the mere signs of CXZ taking in a concubine (according to her character), would lead to a divorce.
A very recent example of a Chinese drama which started off magnificently but went down the drain and even further after around 15-16 episodes. I love the trio (Shen, Situ and Mi Lan) but oh God!!!! Why did they have to somehow, unnecessarily ruin the story (I blame certain, you know who, characters)?!?!

I cannot, for the life of me, accept Li's reason of hatred and that being his motivation thus far. That guy has some serious mental issues, is unhealthily obsessed with Shen and needs help. Everything about this drama is good except the villain 🤦♀️
I enjoyed the performance of both of our leads but the story let me down...Maybe I was expecting too much or something too different, but in my opinion, the story could have been a little shorter and better fleshed out. It felt like they tried to do something different, yet, halfway through gave up on it. Overall: Good but nothing special. Worth a try though!

Even I haven't watched the anime, but I do blame the director and editing. The moment I start getting invested in a scene...bam! scene change. And of course, I do blame my high expectations 🫥
Completed till episode 14 and my thoughts: I waited almost a year for this Drama and honestly, it's disappointing. Yes, it's not as bad as few previous comments make it out to be, but it's not as engaging as I would expect from a star studded drama with this kind of hefty budget. The production and everything made it really pretty, but that's about it. The story lacks that excitement and 'wow' factor that xianxia and wuxia dramas capitalize on to engage viewers. In dramas of similar genre, I usually find myself feeling a range of emotions together with the characters, but here, I am unable to emotionally invest myself. Instead, I find myself wondering just how many years ago was this filmed, because few actors, who I have seen better performances from, fail to adequately deliver here. I will not drop this drama tho, call it my stubbornness in believing that it will engage me at some point...but so far, not amazing.
P.s. This my personal opinion and I would appreciate if no one bashes me for it.
