I have been a fan of Xu Kai since 'The Legends'. Today, after watching ep 30 and 31, I can say with pride that he has progressed amazingly. I have been crying for so long now... In my POV an emotional scene is what really determines an actor's acting skills and in this drama, he has proved it. He nailed the emotions. Even Jing Tian for that matter...she has done an amazing job! I love this CP <3
*Taking back my earlier comment* The show has reached a very stale point...cliche things happening, and they aren't even handled well. Our main leads chemistry falters sometimes and other times it makes me smile...but the moments it makes me smile is not enough to stop me from questioning whether this drama is really worth it or not. I was realllllllyyyyyyyy waiting for this drama, and right now, its just a step away from a total disappointment. But am I going to be dropping thing? Not a chance. I love QSY and YY too much for that. Very unexpectedly (or maybe not that much), I love their dynamics. It is getting a little stretched now, but I still want t o see them ending up together and also be an audience to their ending. Feeling like this despite my love for Wang He Di and Bai Lu...it shows what a weak script this drama has :(
I understand where people who are critical of the main leads are coming from.... But as far as I am concerned, the interactions of the main leads make me smile like an idiot. Their relationship is cliched but done well. The interaction of the second leads (GJ & BRS) reminds me of the fast forward button. Finally, the third couple's interactions leave me wanting more. I am so so so so invested in them!! Miles Wei looks so fine and it feels like their romance will be very cute :)
Ok so....Personal Thoughts, & Rants! I love...LOVE the pair of Nannam & Nithan and also Phethai & Gale (a little less than the former tho), their love stories were sweet, made sense (some sort) and made me smile constantly! On the other hand...the others......NOT SO MUCH! Pine and August was next level unbearable and way too much time was given to them. I am sorry...I just couldn't root for them. Nathee & Florence was also cute but yes... I did skip. Maybe quite a lot. Similar with Hack & Irin. But to be honest, maybe I didnt feel that they were cute or sweet at all... I dont think Irin should have ended up with anyone in the first place. I absolutely dont know how Nanfah & Pladao was possible...Like did I miss something? Were we headed in that direction at ALL? It was very unexpected in a very unwanted way....I had rather they just remain friends.
There is really not much to the story. It relies solely on the individual plots of the members and their acting, as well as their chemistry with their respective partners. The actors did a wonderful job but I cant say the same abt the script.
Its a good drama to just pass time and probably support (or watch for the sake) of your liked actors.
According to information on Naver...NO. Today will be 10th and tomorrow will be 11th... The drama will finish on 2nd October (12th episode will thus air on next Monday).
Its been 6 episodes, and my dissatisfaction with this season is growing...rather, I am tired. I literally fell in love with Season1. It was so engaging and fast-paced but this is failing to do both. The first episode of this season was really good but then the second episode came and I got a little disappointed and with every episode that feeling is growing. The problem with this season is not at all Ha-na's personal story, rather it provides a human aspect to counters. The problem here is how they are dragging the story unnecessarily and, sorry for the new counter, his part is just not doing it for me. The humor feels forced, stale and repetitive. I fast forward the moment he is on screen. Leaving him aside, it feels as if the story is being stretched out for absolutely no reason. Just half way through, and I am convinced that they could have completed this in 10 episodes.
It's been so long since I was this obsessed with a Kdrama, amazing acting and a very engaging plot. So far, it's been such a pleasant ride that I actually didn't feel the need to use the fast forward button at all. I can't wait for Wednesday 😭😭 (I can't wait for more Jo In Sung too)
This ML is the most boring actor alive. All his dramas are always boring and he never have chemistry with the…
Before you make this type of comment, I suggest you watch One and Only (https://kisskh.at/63781-love-your-bones-forever-2). It is a rare drama where even though the main couple were unable to share any kind of intimate scene (due to various factors like oath, social status, engagement etc), the main couple's chemistry was overflowing. Though RJL played a character who was a man of few words, his eyes were very expressive. To be honest, I am not watching this drama but your comment is really bothering me. Just because an actor does not do on-screen kiss scenes does not mean that he can't act! I can understand if you don't like his acting here but why deny his acting skills in general??? And... yes. I respect your opinion. In your eyes, he is a boring actor. Got it! Why would you bring up nonsense about nepotism and all that. He would have long been discarded by the industry if he was that pathetic.
I agree with everyone who is saying that Shin Hye Sun is doing a good job... but to me, Ahn Bo Hyun's performance is more praiseworthy. Mostly because I dont remember him playing any character even close to this (its usually action roles). I honestly was not expecting him to pull of this kind of character but WOW! And MY POV (!!!NO HATE PLS!!!): I am not really feeling their age gap. They look like they are of the same age (sometimes she looks older to him). In no way am I able to really see that BJE is younger to MSH.
Just started watching and wow... Song Yi is so beautiful. She is the perfect balance between elegance and beauty and she suits the theme. I have seen her in modern dramas and she looks so much better here. Going to Bai JingTing... Such good acting. It feels really natural. And initially because of the synopsis (like others thought) his character sounded like complete trash but once you watch the trailer and proceed to the drama, he is just an innocent and sincere guy.
P.S:- The best in-laws award goes to Master and Madam Gu (Gu Jiusi's parents). I luv them!
(Below is my POV): - I started the drama the moment the subbing started and 2-3 episodes in...I was enjoying it. But suddenly it started going downnnnnnnn and its still progressing that way. So, the plot progression may suit some and may lose some completely. The only reason I am sticking arnd is because leaving it now makes the time I spent waiting for and watching the episodes would feel like a waste.
It feels like such a long time since I enjoyed a lakorn so much! Their chemistry is so cuuuute! I am also looking forward to the second couple's relationship.

If I do ever rewatch this drama, its gonna be to revisit their scenes!
