I love JCW and Imada Mio so very much. Was a little skeptical of the pairing when they first announced it but after these photos, I can see the vision. I also love the Director because, well, Semantic Error remains one of the most perfect KBLs for me .

The problem, however, is the Screenwriter. I didn't really like the three dramas I watched written by them and the recent one I didnt watch because the comments/reviews on it were THAT bad. I just hope this drama is a breakthrough of sorts for the writer. Please make this drama starring my favs from two countries a genuinely good drama.

What in the world is with Chinese production companies and giving best bromance dramas the most vile endings?!??!?!?

ZSS x YH were the main character pairing that I was probably the most emotionally invested in this month. They occupied more emotional space in me than any goddamn romance pairing and how did the writers decide to end the series...in the most annoying way possible!

I want YH to be finally happy and be secure in that happiness and for that, ZSS needs to be by his side. I was looking forward to an ending which would imply they kept on solving cases together....not this vague ending!!!

I have watched 4 episodes. ONLY 4!
The 3rd episode's ending had more tension than most straight pairings. Why in the world is this so good?!?!?! How am I to fight the urge to drop all my work and just binge watch this :(

A little annoying how there are only 8 episodes left and they haven't dating yet AND I swear Jun Cheng's story and his family take half of every episode!!!

Will this have a continuation? I feel like there was hints about Emma's family that wasn't explained or did I…
Definitely needs a continuation. Emma's family was about to search/searching for her.

Concluding the experience of this drama: I cried. I love Zhang Haxia, I am grateful that Ding YuXi 's acting range has matured to a degree where he could nail this complex character.

I am a sucker for found family tropes where their teamwork/bond is strong and this ticked those boxes. Our three main characters were nothing short of amazing but I also agree that the editing/story was not exactly flawless. It definitely has its shortcomings but the extent to which Zhang Haixia and Zhang Hailou pull at your heartstrings makes it up for those flaws.

This drama is in no way perfect or a masterpiece. The side couples, which remind us of plenty annoying modern Cdramas a couple of year back featuring unnecessary side couples with weird plots or overly stretched storylines, are also not that engaging (ngl, I completely skip whenever Dang Yue and Ju Cheng are on my screen :|).

But, somehow, it works. I can just switch my brain off and enjoy the bickering between our main couple. I am enjoying the TJC and WCR pairing more than I ever anticipated. I am sure I will soon crib about the length of the drama but I also can't deny that it is fun.

I usually support/respect/understand when a Jdrama kills off a main character or one that I am emotionally attached to, but NOT THIS ONE!

There is absolutely no climax which could possibly be groundbreaking enough to justify Ryo's death. We could have made him focus on his health and become a coach-sorta character BECAUSE so far, this drama has focused and made itself all about the JOURNEY of Bulls.

Wdym that an amazing player like Ryo completely throws away all his health related concerns just because he wanted to play. not even the finals, so very much! He has his girlfriend by his side, his entire social circle and the people he holds dear has increased so much and this is when he decides to submit to the fate of cliche death!

This went from a 9.5 to 8 really quick in the 9th episode. I have watched quite a few Japanese sports drama and the entire team persevering together (not necessarily win) is far more memorable/tearjerking and impactful. Again, the journey is far more important than the result and episode 9 ruined it for me.

Started watching without any expectations and just wanting to watch Li Fei but WOW!
The cases move at the right pace and keep you engaged perfectly. Even the characters dynamics are well written. Its made so well and the entire cast is doing such a good job <3

Episode 9 turned Secretary Park's character into such a snake! That to a dumb one!

We know she liked JJY but the drama also solidified her and NKJ's friendship. As a woman, sure, she must be jealous of JIA, but she has been in the company long enough to know what actions she should take and not take.If in the next episode they go through with this entire mess and she doesn't take accountability, we will have one more 2026 Kdrama pulled down by bad writing.

Its been a while since I watched the fighting scenes of a drama without skipping. In some instances, I was even rewinding, just to see that punch/kick/swordplay once more. One of the finest fighting sequences in c-dramas for sure.

The story is also very interesting. I love the chemistry between our three main characters. I totally understand the critique of Zhan Zhao's character and his actions. But I believe that if he starts killing people (they clearly do deserve to die, especially ep 12), it would go against his entire character. If he does kill someone, the story would need to build up really well to the turning point which affects his decision, because killing someone without trial would go completely against his 'righteous court officer' character.

I am excited to see how they will build up the story because no matter how much I love the characters, it will get a little draggy if they continue pushing ZZ as a righteous hero whose actions always end up freeing bad people.

This is such a well-written and endearing drama!
I usually hate love triangles and all other situations where there are many suitors for our female lead...but this one is such a gem. I fell in love with all the characters. The full circle moment of this drama is such a delight.
