I didnt feel the need to skip as many scenes as I normally do with lakorns. The main plot twines around the sisters more the romance of the main leads in some ways. But that seemed appropriate considering how monstrously jealous and unstable she was. Have to give kudos to the actress who played Nim. She did a perfect blend of crazy/evil/sweet.
that will be great if they add that scene, where friends and family supporting Jun, and finally Jun survivied..…
They had a whole hour to wrap things up the way they wanted. They combined two tropes that have ruined several korean dramas for me. 1) sudden illness during last part of story 2) male lead running away at end for years to fix things by himself. Recently trope #2 occured in another netflix korean drama called Was it love. And that entire drama was about them already having an unnecessary separation. Just seems to be a favored plot point from that country to me now.
Wow. Ill definitely stop where Im at (end of ep 15) like everyone here is suggesting. I knew he would go away for school or something after revealing his age and breaking up with her...But making the kid have a terminal illness and fake his death was definitely not what I was expecting. Its a distasteful trope. People need their friends and family to get through an illness. It feels unrealistic, and sends the wrong message..Bah hum bug. Guess Ill have to use my imagination for a better ending for them this time.
This age gap couple was great together. I loved the first half of this drama. And am a fan of zhao lu si. But I totally got bored of it when I realized she was going to end up getting treated like a silly gold digging slut for the rest of the show.. The scenes of them together were hot but I dont think Ill ever finish it.
Agreed. Its very doubtful that a laymen could sneak up on a skilled martial artist like that. He also managed to kill some of those assassin's with only one or two low key moves.
Well now..I liked most of it. But the storyline started to unravel when the girls took mushrooms, and the director decided to waste a bunch of time playing in the woods. They also never seemed to find out that poopey was the girl from camp and his exs sister. I was hoping for a good ending between the main leads to make up for it at least. But it seemed like chang was just having a bit of a secret agents wet dream about the girl he missed more than anything.. Can definitely tell they cut a lot off the last parts of this story.
Right I can't remember the show I watched like everyone died even the ML I was like wtf wasted my whole life ?.…
Agreed. He sort of disappeared before the big battle. Even the soldiers from the borderlands got take part in that. But his story still felt finished to me.
Its very rare that a drama ends so well that it could manage to squeeze both happy & sad tears out of me. The writer and the actors did an amazing job. Bravo. The action scenes were pretty cool too.

I still think a character like Blue would have told her bff what happened after a while. Even if the men thought her too frail at first. She had vengeance for her family to keep her going. Later on they were just dragging it out. Hurting her with their silence.

By the time they got back to town it was weeks/months after her family died. LF felt she was ready to hear it at that point or else he never would have asked wy to come see her at the restaurant. When she left the battlefront to go see him it wasn't a short journey either. So it could have taken weeks to get there and back as well.

I understand. Shes his general tho. Not just some undisciplined civilian girl. Should have just told her when wy didnt show up for their appointment to confess.
Ive been enjoying this series immensely. But its beyond reasonable how long they kept her boyfriends marriage a secret from her. I understand that lin fang wanted the coward to confess it himself. But they even got blue to keep quiet indefinitely. Didnt seem believable in that moment. Love everything else about it so far tho.
Mitras anger and hatred toward Parin is incredibly palpable in this series. Every time she got behind the wheel of a car around him,he seemed to see his life flash before his eyes. But their happily ever after definitely felt well worth the wait.
I found out the ml passed via a comment section right after finishing episode 3. Now that silly look he had on his face after he gave the girl a peck on the lips is burned into my memories. May he RIP.
I liked it up until the time of their divorce. After that, the good feels are gone. The rest of the story seems more like a tragedy than a romantic comedy. So am thinking of dropping around ep 28, before it gets even worse. The ml is one of my favorite actors tho, so id hate to give up on something of his I was enjoying. :-(
There was nothing that could hold a candle to the sexy ice cream commercial they did in the thai version. Ended up feeling a lot more like an innocent friendship or hs romance. The fl is so pretty and fun to watch tho that that was ok.. The sad thing was that it started to feel like the show was more about Tiffany than the main leads. They also seemed to forget.. that er long should have become a full grown husky after that needless little time jump at the end.
Really loved this one until the end. My only complaint is that it kinda has an open ending. If they plan on having a second season thats all fine and good. But would really suck if that was truly the end of such a great story. Am hoping there will be more to come.
This was good for a while. Jerry yan was sexy and 3 dimensional, definitely awesome for this kind of role. But shen yues character wasn't as endearing as it could have been. And the minute I saw her real love rival show up I knew the second half of this drama was about to get needlessly complicated. Should have kept things short and sweet. Ended up dropping it.
