Dong-man is an asshole. I recognise his issues and experiences that have made him into this kind of person, but he is still an asshole. As are most of his "friends". Most of my empathy goes to his brother.
I think the story great, better than a lot of what's out right now. I get that the characters' situations are meant to elicit strong emotional responses but at certain points I find that I am rolling my eyes. It's just a tad too heavy-handed for me. Still it's unskippable and I'm having fun watching everything but the nosebleeds. Can't stand the sight of blood and they decided to make it a cinematic event every time it happens.
Honestly don't blame the grandma for interfering in Ju-a's relationship. The entire family depends on her for everything. She handles the home, helped them raise the kids, they run to her for emotional support, she smoothens over relationships both internally and externally and still runs a pharmacy to contribute financially to the family. I'd usually not agree with an elder interfering in a romance but in this case she has earned the right. For 30+ years she's been doing her best to hold it all together by herself and she would have probably supported Ju'a but recent happenings already have her under pressure. That romance is just going to be one more thing that's dumped on her lap to deal with.
Why does the tone of this drama make it seem like Se-ri did something unimaginable by giving her child up for adoption? She's quite nasty for the most part but that decision is not something to condemn her for.
Eun-bin needs to calm all the way down. Her niceness is only skin deep like her stepmother. I hope the writers don't develop a love line between her and U-jae.
Oh wow. So suddenly Go Youn-jung can act? She plucked talent from a tree and ate it and pow!
All the lead roles, cast by some of the best directors/writers, all the characters she's played to a tee and people judged her based on their biases. For years on this site I have read all kinds of comments about how bad her acting is and how she's only cast for her face. Guess I should be glad she's finally getting the praise she deserves no matter how hollow it all is.
This is really fresh and funny. Love the FL. Her crying scenes are so good. You can almost feel the sorrow jumping out of the screen. The writer has to be a BL reader or super good at research.
Everyone in these families need therapy or some kind of counselling. WTF? I'm not one to over-analyse characters but they're all walking around with some kind of trauma and taking it out on each other.
Only watched the first few episodes and the amount of emotional abuse going in within the families is mind-blowing. The sorts of things they say to and about each other? Crazy stuff.
That scene is total nonsense.1- Like you said turning the car on high speed2- When she hit the the fence to slow…
Fiction. Writers are allowed to take liberties for the sake of the plot. There's so much of this drama that's "nonsense" but suspension of disbelief is a thing for a reason. If we insist on everything being true to life, all we'll have is documentaries. Sorry to anyone who attempts to pull off such a stunt because they saw it in a drama.

Really like how tender these two are with each other.
