What would have been fun? A discussion thread where all this role-playing can happen. I want to read comments about the show without having to scroll through tons of "character" comments.

I'm not even watching this yet and I can say with confidence that this rating is bs.

Been obsessed with Tolkien since the 90s. Thankfully not some lore bro who can't stand an adaptation taking some liberties. I might not have liked all the deviations but I understood why the choices were made and they worked for the series. When I want 100% accurate lore, the books will always be there.

This cast is stacked.

Why bring Rings of Power into this? That's a good show. Agree most of Hollywood is crap tho so carry on.

This director deserves all the accolades. That last sequence with her hair coming loose? You don't shoot things like that by chance. That was a clear vision and it delivered on every level. My goodness!

Also unsure what the crown princess' deal is. It's good that she's helping but leaving home for war because of a man who had not made a move at all in your direction? Nah.

I already stretched my imagination to accept that a tiny woman can be that strong. I guess I can stretch it some more. Lol.

I saw that. And my doubts still stand.

Actors have been losing and gaining weight for roles since time immemorial but this sits on the extreme side. There are much healthier ways to this but I'm guessing there was a time crunch. His managers/agency need to find a way to guide and manage him better in such situations.

One thing I can't quite shake off is how much of a skilled fighter the FL is. I get the strength part. But to be so skilled would take years and years of practice every day in addition to real fighting experience. She's cutting through swathes of men like butter and it doesn't add up. Maybe when they reveal who her father really was it'll make sense.

Amen. I had mixed feelings about him at first but QQ's reactions to him told me everything I needed to know.

2. Dean's been showing his insecure ass acting like he's some kind of bad ass. Sorry to him but I have very little empathy.
3. Will gmmtv allow us see characters in ships make out with others? There is so much potential.

Big same. I was so ready to be wrong but nope. He's still the hottest character to me based on aura though.

This is going to be good. Sul Kyung Gu is one of the better actors from his generation. Hope the other actors match him.

I like the second male lead because he's handsome. He's tall, has beautiful hair, a beautiful smile and broad shoulders. What's not to like.

I see Tae-seop takes time to warm up but once he does, phew.

Enjoying the story and the pace so far matches my taste.

This instalment seems to be taking time to find it's stride. The writers are taking audience knowledge for granted and leaving out vital information that doesn't need to be withheld.

I don't usually mind the sound effects but the use here is jarring. Given a character like Dao, they should used natural sounds or silences more. All that ping and pang and pong with Dao in the foreground just doesn't work.
