Go Youn Jung will be fine. Her casting in Resident Playbook cemented her position for me. I follow the director and that man will only work with the best. That he chose her is a testimony to her skills. And she delivered like mad. It's people who can't see beyond her pretty face making all these asinine comments. They're the ones with the problem.
I'm really enjoying this. Maybe because I enjoy tropes and am easy to please. I also like the FL and I'm curious to see what character development looks like for her.
I didn't have high expectations when I started this series. Just thought it was going to be cute and fluffy with pretty boys but the acting is so fucking good. The way Duang feels like a whole other person in some scenes and Qin does not waste a single expression or motion. Whatever Domundi put in their water is working.
Going to be a lot of unfilled silences in the first few eps because Dao doesn't talk or lot or "do" a lot. Then there is Arthit who cannot be still unless he's asleep.

I like her styling. The colours are pretty, the clothes fit. She looks cute without trying too hard. Ankle-length dresses are not old-fashioned. Plus it matches her character. She's reserved.

Rated this a 9/10 cos it's beautiful, and it made me feel. And for the acting. Moon Sangmin is shaping into one of the finer actors of his generation. He holds his own beside more experienced actors, and that's something. Byung Yohan was his usual exceptional self. I haven't seen much of Go Ah Sung's work but now I have a reason to.

This is actually quite good. Watched bits and pieces with a friend and mostly followed the story. It has its faults but for a Thai BL, that's par the course.
I'm glad he got to experience this character and work with more seasoned actors and with a dialect coach. It's the smart actor who knows they don't have to be the lead every time and carry the drama. Especially one so young. It's all a part of growth. He has a lot of promise, and I look forward to seeing him in future roles.

You have answered my question and I can now look out for these things if I rewatch the intro. GenAI is rotten at its core, uses up too much of the earth's natural resources, is backed by oligarchs and was developed using the work of thousands of people who did not give permission or receive compensation. And it is copying from more than just the big studios. Pick a random semi-popular artist and ask GenAI to create in that style and it will replicate it. Your assumption of my ignorance based on a clearly articulated questions is silly.
And I am in fact blind to these differences (unless they're super obvious) and refuse to accept anything I see these days as either artist-made or AI until I have definitive information (for good reason). It's not a poor choice of words. Its me knowing my limitations and stating them.
FYI, GenAI use is treated as the next big tech/creative frontier in Korea and there is very little pushback so corporations like TVN will continue to use it if it saves them a buck. Capitalism doesn't give a fuck about artistic integrity.
