That repulsive netizens still refused to believe his innocence over drug allegations, even when explained and proven, is a knock-on effect of S.Korea's culture of publicly accusing and dropping artists, before any investigation has even begun, regardless. This is far too common an occurrence. This is people's lives being ruined and taken.
I feel that with his attitude to life, work, his mental health, and to maturing, he is an actor who will hopefully be around for a long time, and become a national institution! I think he will go on to be regarded in the same way actors like Song Kang-ho, Choi Min-sik and Chun Ho-jin are... I really hope so.
Netflix are dreadful for dropping series and leaving stories incomplete. I really hope we get a S3, as well as 2, if that best represents the wrb novel. Loved S1.
Yoon Joo-sang (or is it Yun Ju-sang), should really be included in the supporting cast. He was wonderful as Ji-eun/hun's Grandpa. Whilst not in many episodes, his character was still an important element of the story. It's bad he isn't included π
I just watched 'The Princess and the Werewolf', under the details of which it says this drana is a prequel.... I cannot see how this drama bears any relation to the one I just watched! How is it a prequel ~ unless the Princess in question is the same character in both ~ but that's pretty tenuous.
Exactly, and Song Wei-long is the same. Their acting is terrible
I thought he was great in Go Ahead; a favourite drama. Perhaps he doesn't choose the best scripts, or it's poor direction; actors do follow the director's lead.
How much do Chinese doramas differ from Korean and Japanese ones? I have only watched Chinese films.
K-dramas generally have better overall production, I find. Female characters are diverse. For me, J-dramas can more often be hit and miss, and their romance stuff often seems to have weak female characters. The best C-drama productions, with lavish sets and costumes, are definitely period fantasies ~ they excel at these! The acting is generally good in them, too. I find present-day ones harder to get into. They do have a tendency for their FL characters to act and speak like little girls; 'coquettish'. I think it's meant to be cute, but irritates me.
MDL is my go-to for drama casts and info. However, the cast list for S3 has a pivotal character completely missing!... or I need new glasses... Assemblywoman Oh Min-ae, played by Ko Kyung-Sook. Also, Yoo Yeon-seok isn't really a guest appearance? He may not have featured until near the end, but it was an important role, and he appeared a lot from his entry. Your cast list needs a bit of attention on this.
I don't get how this is Save Me S2... it bears no relation to the other drama at all. Not the story or cast. Only similarity is a fake Church being involved.
Great watch; let's hope ratings are high enough for the S2 (not a Limited Series, so one has been allowed for). Loved cast and characters. Content Rating 15 on Netflix.
