This plays out over 8 episodes on Prime, varying in length from 45 minutes to 1 hour. Phenomenal cast and acting. However I didn't like aspects of the story that surround suicide; I thought it pointed and dismissive.
I'm getting fed up with western media companies that invest in producing foreign dramas, forcing their way of doing things onto the production. Netflix and Prime do this. K-dramas generally complete a series in one run of 16-20eps (sometimes less) and even when they produce a S2, it can be stand alone and/or is confirmed immediately, as part of the overall story. Stop messing with a format that is what 99.9% of us like about K-dramas! Also, if not committing at the outset to a S2, don't leave the ending hanging... it will make 100% of viewers pi55ed off and affect the their reviews. So annoying!

But MDL made a video of upcoming dramas (with Happy Squeak) and it was called TBOM in it... just thinking it is confusing for followers, if one website uses multiple titles to refer to the same drama, regardless of country.
The part that frustrated me about the ending, is that Kim Kyung Ja (the obsessed guy's hypocritically religious and anger filled [even before she lost her son] mother), never found out that Mi-mo was her actual granddaughter. Nor was it found out that her son had killed the guy in the hotel room, not Mo-mi/Mask Girl, or that he'd raped her.
Fabulous actor, so good that he makes a nediocre drama better and a poorly written/directed one worth staying for! Hosptal Playlist, Life on Mars, Prison Playbook are all favourites.
This sets a good example of how far the script is bad this season; they have created a problem from no problem,…
Sorry, but to me, that isn't naive, but stupid. He's an experienced Counter now and with his knowledge, should have accepted that with eveything that happened to him, Ju-seok's heartbreak, bitterness and anger at a lack of justice, drove him to accept the evil spirit. I get him questioning it initially, but not once he basically attacked So Moon and other Counters. To have carried on so long with that unbelievable storyline, is poor and lazy writing to me. Instead, the Counters could have supported him, by explaining that very point, instead of letting him struggle, doing/saying nothing and allowing him to consequently faulter, so ending up endangering all of them. Again poor writing and a missed opportunity of giving the Counters a rare moment of depth, instead of the superficial and overly comical interactions we've been getting. S1 was by far, superior to this current series.
MDL, you need to update info on the writer for S2... YEO JI NA, who wrote a fabulous script upto and including ep12 of series 1, LEFT due to the direction future episodes were to take and the director wrote ep13... not sure about remainder of S1 though. The drop in quality of S2 says it all. The director needs to apologise. If I were Yeo Ji Na, I would not want associating with S2 at all! The last laugh is on her... she wrote the concept and most of S1, only to be forced out, but... Karma!... S2 is rubbish. I wonder how the actors felt.
Writer Yeo Ji Na left before the series completed (after ep12) and was replaced for last few eps. However, they are still credited in S2, which is wrong. S2 is a big let down in comparison, with the standard of writing having dropped. I doubt she would want associating with it! MDL needs to clarify/update.
I'm currently watching my dearest, a heavy war drama but their occasional funny moments are actually funny and…
Yes, that's the difference between a good writer(s) and dreadful ones. I shall avoid anything else these writers have done or will do in the future! I will start My Dearest after a few more episodes have aired ☺️

You raise a great point, but, after everything So Moon experienced in S1, he lost that naivety. He was also with the Counters already when he found out his parents were actually murdered, and it didn't make him lose the meaning to his life; he was a child and raised/loved by his grandparents after. Ma Ju Seok is totally different - an adult who lost everything he lived for, including his unborn child. The fact So Moon can't see that, is unbelievable.
i think so mun has only one dialogue in this season and that is mr ma mr ma mr ma he’s soo kind how he can get…
I have found it genuinely eye-rolling. He put someone he barely knows before Ha Na and didn't even summon their territory... cringeworthy and awful... but it makes perfect sense after your revelation of So Mun's heart! 😉😄
