Yicheng was a real character in history. Jinse, fictional. Jinse totally loyal to Yicheng, as Yicheng was a Princess.…
Oh you have put it all in right words. We have real life dilemmas in the show. A similar situation thrown to so many characters but how they respond to that situation is all very different. I can never say this enough that I feel the characters are so humane in this one. All messed up and complicated. Not all people have a linear growth, no one has it actually. It's all pretzels. Loyality is one theme through which they showed a lot of different aspects, rights and wrongs of it and what happens when you are obsessed with it.
Was re-watching ep 33 and realised that everyone in the series are loyal to their countries.... Some right, some wrong, some delusional but loyal. Be it anyone Jinse, Yicheng, Mr. Du, A'Sun, Changge...
To be honest I do agree with you that the the plot did become weaker towards the end. The reason for me thinking…
I haven't watched Reba before at all. My only and only reference is TLB. And I guess we were only talking about long Ballad. Reba has done a spectacular job here. I've written how so in the comments above. You can read that.
I feel you! People associate acting as purely an explosion of emotions, but fail to realise that acting is also…
Thanks for providing me with the example!
The scenes between LeYan and Changge where there sisterhood was destroyed have a lot to say about Li Changge and LeYan as characters. When LeYan was trying to get close to Changge again and did not get the warmth from her, she cried. The emotions at large she felt was of sorrow of being detached from her big sister and companion but for Changge things were working on several levels. She was obviously affected by Leyans's pleads, initally not much so but gradually it increased. It is not easy for a person to forgive that easily, her family was murdered by her father, she channelize her anger on her. Her emotions were in conflict. It's not easy to hug a person even if you are thinking rationally and know that the other person is not responsible at all, the emotions are just very overpowering and complex. Changge couldn't see beyond her anger initially but things changed gradually when it calms down a bit around her. My point, people are different and so are there responses.
I guess it's the will, if you have a will, you'll try to understand things. I need valid reasons for your criticism not that you skipped all the scenes with main characters hence you do not like them. Tha is not the reason.
Don't worry too much these comments. There will always be those who do not understand the character that Reba's…
I usually keep my calm when I read irrational stuff. I ended up re-reading something and just wanted to make these things clear for once at least from my side. I wanted to do my part so if any new viewer watch it, they'll be able to get this easily. I thought to put it simply out there. I tried to spoon feed here I guess. I have not read the Manhua before watching this neither I have seen Reba and Leo before this so there is no biasness in what I say. I have only this show for reference. I realised how easily people ignore these three things and love the parallel track bcoz it was totally written out there, you don't have to guess a thing. Every emotion comes straight to you loud and extreme. Because I guess that's easier to love and more easier to completely hide other characters in the drawer as you needed to use a little common sense with them. Also how can you expect romance to bloom in such circumstances? When a person is going through the worst in her life. A'Sun gave her the space and you are supposed to do the same. Is it so easy to forget and forgive? Is it so easy to live a cheerful life just the very next day? Are there proper ways written in some book called “How to get over depression and fall in love simultaneously?” It took me a while to realise that she's so young yess I admit but other things are too obvious. If all the female characters starts crying over everything and wait for others to come and help....how would that help at all? TLB won't be TLB anymore. It's beauty lies in differences for me. A lot of similar things happened to lot of characters and those things affected them differently which is so humane! It turned someone into the villian and helped other to become a better person. There are endless number of examples.
I laid those three things out for people to read. I hope they read and understand, love whoever you want but don't diss others just because you cannot understand they are human too.
And some shallow ones have too much ratings too.
