I start watching this drama because of Gina Gin and her character in the drama so nicely done. Even though I'm not a fan of sports drama but the characters what's matter to me... The Male Lead character too childish-naive-simple-innocent, I like his energetic full of big and strong ambition to compete every way he can, but again he's not mature enough for me to root him, seems like at first he admire her then romantic feeling which going to be a huge dramatic moments will come up... I'm not for it, I watch drama because I care the ML FL, even if the plot is weak, I can still finished it all the episodes but I had to dropped this one. The FL is fine and the ML too disappointed what a bummer.
I thought ML might remember the FL resemblance when she wear mask as General Feihong but it seems he never paid full attention in the past since they are not friends but just respect one another.
Also the fake couple under fake identity is nothing new but it need so that the FL will show her Female side and of course let the romance blooming beautifully.
AWESOME!!! This drama conclude so satisfying for a season 1... ep.30 made me rate higher for the drama cuz Han & Nangong met again and has very funny moments. The enemies is everywhere even some mentor/master are corrupted to the core. Mentor Li is the most cool and badass character. i really like the fact Han Li was romantic loved by many yet he still trying to figure it out to upgrade himself, Nangong, Mo, Chen and Dong are all gorgeous and kind characters... Han could've become the first Harem Immortal Master. The most emotional scene was when Han Li say goodbye to his little mouse friend. Wang Chan is the best bad guy ever in the drama, he's ruthless, cold-blooded, reckless and his character so hilarious too. The fact that Han Li so independent and was given freedom by his mentor/master really made the drama so astonished.
I'm a filmmaker myself and i can see the beauty in this drama from cinematography, directing, story telling and the visual effects are well planned and well executed. Even though i can see a bit of error in the vfx of a green screen or set extension during post-production, i understand the budget might not be very high for a drama. i praised for the graphics design with its detail on screen and some practical fx doesn't work as expected but again the vfx shots might be more than 200-300 shots with lot of times consumed during the making. Yang Yang so well casts and the others as well.
I wonder if season 2 already in development or just end it in season 1. please do let me know if season 2 still happening in the future.
From the looks of the poster and title i thought it's gonna be another pointless passionate-intimate-romance but the rating is fine and i watched it then i find it's very good but there's a twist that made me like some of its best and disappoint me with its worst. GREAT DECISION: > Has the most gorgeous FL (same level of beauty standard as Tang Jing Mei) i've ever seen, she can be cute and adorable, her acting so well performed even though there's a weak chemistry in some scenes but it's all good and also she look too artificial like a real-life barbie which i think it suits her greatly if she took the role of spiritual or goddess character in a wuxia/historical drama but i don't have anything to complaint, she's still great. i love her. well cast. > Tai Ming Xiao is the best supporting character in the drama. Very funny. > i like the ML character before ep.10, he's quiet, silence and unfriendly yet very reasonable and smart. > FL close friend so well written also the son so interesting.
DISAPPOINTED DECISION: > The character development in this drama so mess-up, like Cheng Kai Ran, a guy who first fell in love with FL and then she provoke him, he's about to pierce the knife through her face, if not for the ML who's there to stop by holding the sharp knife and bleed his hand, the FL would have died there instantly... however later he seems like a good guy... what is his character personality... was he mental unstable?? > The story mainly about the family business of the ML so chaotic from murder to corruption it's exhaust to watch. Some present day cdrama storyline so refreshing, always focus on daily slice of life plot but when its about the thriller,action,crime exist in a plot, it's meant to be overdramatic. > Wang Xing Sheng was like a wanted criminal especially from ML/FL perspective but he was never mention again after ML Mom got arrested. it's not complete, he'll continue doing shady stuff. > it' not clear why FL's Friend got divorce easily after many long time without proper conclusion. > The twist was reveal later as the conclusion of the drama, what a weak way to execute it. > Tia Ming suited to be in romance with ML's Sister but the writer seems not to care. > The ML so mysterious, instead of rooting him like i mention above (in Great Decision) i later found him unpredictable (ep.10 above) ... especially how do he know to fight or the strengh ability to do so. > Goukai, my boy looks like a reasonable and reliable guy but then because of FL his decision made him look like a foolish dumb guy. What a silly turn out event. > On paper the story might be very good but on screen, the decision of the screenplay and the directing so laughable like i'm watching a 3rd rate drama. > More tell than show what exactly happen and the misunderstanding is just too complex for some reason. i agree with why FL angry of ML behavior to be silence but in fact i'm sure she'll do the same because the plot want it.
The only thing i rate this drama as a good drama was because of Zhang Yu Xi, she's so well cast and i really like her character.
My boy MC journey just got more lonely especially now the gorgeous Chen will soon get married. It's like the drama imply that THE MORE THE MC BECOME OVERPOWERED THE MORE HE'LL GET LONELY
Even though I like the ML... his vibe so similar as a cold blooded character from his drama MY JOURNEY TO YOU, the fight scenes definitely didn't disappoint me, the villains... Not that interesting and it seems at ep. 12 romance still couldn't penetrate through the plot, it's still nothing. Also I always thought from the early episode that's there's something missing especially when it comes to FL... Now I found out that she lack charm, she maybe a professional actress with top notch performances but there's no charm for her character in the drama.
why the more i watch the near ending of the drama i feel lonely for the MC... he's a lonely adventurer with super power. I think at this point, a romance need to rekindle asap so the drama can conclude nicely. Also what happen to Mo? (ep.25)
Ep.24 definitely the most entertain episode so far, huge battle with spectacular directing & Vfx. Senior Jing so awesome, its very unfortunate he got tricked. Chen Rong is a stupid guy, if only he mention that he found a colouring elements, the villains won't be able to surpassed the ability to tricked, he did deserve to die pathetically. Also Where's the other sects when you need them, i know Nangong busy but howabout others, they either has weak/coward disciples or they have a dumb masters. At first sight i always supect that freakin Emperor.
She's talented, beautiful, Young and humble, she work non-stop in her career especially from 2021-23...alot of hardship full of difficulties for her to carry. She deserve a rest and good health. I love her❤️❤️❤️. I pray for her to be well and feel peace in her everyday life.
After watching from episode to episode I find this drama very appealing from its plot to the characters but it feels something missing. Like the ML so well written but the FL as the titular character was either has weak character development or the casting choice is not suited?!?
Ep.23 did me dirty.... oh man, Chen so gorgeous like goddess (in mortal dress) but then Mo was there also & she's so beautiful too and i like Chen for Han as a couple but i feel bad for Mo, she's a great partner too... Come on!!! For Chen, Han see her as his senior where he already met her during hard time more than any other female characters in the drama and he respect that while try avoiding close friendship, he knew she likes him thats why 2times Han's already made her forgotten with pills and the moment she said she remember that Han's save her in the past, i'm started to think NO NO HAN, NOT ANOTHER PILLS!!!! lol... For Mo, Han see her as his mortal friend who save his life and always avoid her so that's she can live a normal life since he knew she like him. Meanwhile, Nangong didn't appear in this eps. ...For her, Han's only remember she's an accidental- one-night-stand goddess... not more than that. Even though she's interested in him, he always fear that he'll get scold or complaint from her.
Also Senior Wu decline the mission, Him? Alone? and for some reason he instead went to drink alone and get drunk because he's sad being too obsessed with Xuan'er??!!! what a foolish and narrow minded guy.
Also the fake couple under fake identity is nothing new but it need so that the FL will show her Female side and of course let the romance blooming beautifully.
