Oh snap! Will the ML lose his identity as a student & ep. 10 will be reveal to everyone he's an agent as and get expelled!!?? The antagonist's backup so strong the Protagonist lose drastically & the FL will be in danger again.. the problem will be solved in ep.12 so it's not necessary for the drama to exist if ep.9 made all the villain got defeated.
The drama so clichè but it's watchable, here's the good and bad; ** The historical set feels like Alchemy of soul vibe & the present day feel like a Goblin vibe but in small scale. The romantic chemistry is better during the past life of the ML FL, the present day not so much. This is the second time I've purposely watch this drama after hearing the ost that it's sound pretty good (the 1st time is the Goblin). There's a lot of plot-hole and the exaggeration of logic is endless however it's a good drama since i can finished all it's episode. The use of slow-burn storyline in here so jarring to watch also Pyo Ye Jin here as the FL it's the first time I'm seeing this and I'm not getting use to it yet but I can say she's done a pretty great job nailing the emotional part especially the historical time line. This drama has 1 plot but two different timeline (past & present day) just like any other drama release in 2023 like Destined with You / My Demon but they don't solely depends on the past but embrace the present.
Wow! He looks badass in that historical traditional role ... He maybe a terrifying psychopath in FLOWER OF EVIL & DEATH GAME but he's always blend in with historical drama character too.
This drama is something else, even though the subject of this drama was to punish the ML as much as it can but then it affect the FL as well. The writings is top notch. There's a bit of plot-hole in some sequences of the story but the creating of a villain so good its a great set-up. The ML planned overshadowed by the villain ideas is so intriguing. The FL is a kind, beautiful & a loving wife who care for her family but her encounter with the ML past incident completely made the plot even more intense. Sometimes I find it funny in some scenes but in a very compliment way. It's rare to find a drama that has the ML FL who's already married and had a child having complex problems that deals with crime/thriller/mystery yet the romance never absent.
I'm here for Lee Sung Kyung she's one of the most adorable actress in South Korea drama industry right now😍. But it surprised me that the ML so fun & interesting. Most of the supporting role characters has their own personal storyline & some I find to be ridiculous poor writing, an extra to extend the character development for the drama sake. Anyway I find this drama so heartwarming & I feel like I watched another 'strong woman' (Park Bo Young drama).

1. Ep.18 2. No 3. No Break up only time skip took place just half (approx.) an Episode 4. Ep. 26-27 (just because the FL is emotion cuz she knew her mom is really sick without her knowing) 5. Mostly focus to the 1st ML/FL... the 2nd ML/FL just there when the 1st FL need (since they are close friends working together in a Hotel Management for 7 years) 6. The FL ex did appear from the beginning episodes before they break up online and he reappear in ep. 13 when the FL start falling in love with the ML (though she just reject the ML cuz of her PTSD experience with her past toxic relationship) 7. From Ep. 18 forward the ML FL always there to one another and yes in ep. 28 they got married happily ever after, the ML reconcile with his dad, who he always ignore cuz of the past history)
Even though Bae Doo na is the center of the plot, Gong Yoo did played a hero in his part. LUNA existence in the plot made the show interesting, i mean there's a lot of unanswered question but the conclusion of the drama did gave a beautiful emotional set up for the characters. Also one thing that stood out to be so cool about this drama was it's spectacular visual effects and set design.
In paper this movie sounds legit but on screen it's silly and shallow. Though it has crime investigation of a superstitious phenomenon took place in a small village but all are in vain, the objective of the plot rush too quick it's obvious that the storyline is dull and weak. The poster itself promote the supporting role character... Where's the cop who's always took charge what happened in the plot. The execution failed dramatically 😑.
