This drama is one of the most anticipated drama in my watchlist but after I saw it's popularity and viral online, I started to doubt my expectations. I just completed to watched and I'd say it's a very good drama, definitely not perfect but worth the watch. I do agree this drama was called idol drama since every characters especially the main characters and the main supporting characters was too attractive, though I'm not complaining, it's just my unpopular opinion. The introduction and the conclusion of the plot served pretty well but the middle part and the climax was too overwhelming or too exaggerated to enjoy. The drama has awesome ML and adorable FL but their character development met alot of cliché outcomes. The alternate timeline storyline was definitely a well made fan service no one saw it coming. To say this drama is the best of the year? I don't think so, even though I don't understand a bit why many was regards this as the greatest drama of the year🤔. However one thing for sure there's couple of comedy and the character development of some supporting characters deserve high praise 👏 well written indeed. btw the 'flood' sequence was obviously AI generated it's laughable to watch

I only watch this drama because of Yu Ning and Lu Si pair up as the leads, cuz I really liked their chemistry as the 2nd lead in LONG BALLAD. The character development of ML has so many flaws since this is a FL centered storyline... her character development is so good, Lu Si nailed her role so well👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. This drama has the best 2nd ML in a cdramas I've ever seen so far. The fact that the death of MLs Sister was offscreen definitely a disappointment for me because I was very confident Chloe Xie's character was the sister, as we can see her character journey was shift 360°, definitely a very special character development...but meeeh it's just for the sake of the plot. Chloe performance deserve recognition at the award ceremony, apart from Lu Si's strong performance... Chloe so beautifully well performed... I loved it so much. I didn't root for her character at all especially when they romanticise her with a despicable/bully character 👎🏼. This drama always about the life journey of FL in a jewellery business, that's the main plot, no wonder it's underrated since it was released the same time Esther's drama about fantasy comedy.
next episodes, the prime minister 2nd lead propose to marry FL!!! I feel sad for ML, he's very concerned for her... seems like he intentionally walk side by side with the woman 'to be marry' arrange by the Queen Mother just to push away the FL for getting close or against the break-up! 😔.... hope she's smart enough to change the situations !
This drama waste my precious time, I nearly dropped in the 20s episodes... it's rubbish and dumb but it's not the way you think. The production team behind this drama especially the writers are all honest sadistic people, they love torturing the characters and the viewers, it's a WTF reaction from me! The writers focus more on ML painful journey and FL serve as the main source of the plot. Xiao Tang who portrayed Lou Mei has the similar fate like her supporting character in THE IMMORTAL ASCENSION because in that drama she was given a aphrodisiac by her fiance but Yang Yang save her and she forced herself to have s*x with him but Yang Yang is the ML he snap her unconsciously but in this KMLM drama she was given aphrodisiac by the crown prince then she forced herself to have s*x with him and he took advantage to kissed her, that's her main storyline... what a ridiculous writings. I expect this drama to be good because I have hope with its interesting synopsis and I thought it's a very underrated, I didn't see it coming on how they really want to torture the viewers. Idk why Xiu Yi played similar ML in some of the drama I've watched, where he has to be the target that the FL has to make him suffer or kill but he later became the reliable supporter for her instead. was he intentionally choose such role? The main reason why I don't like this drama was that the writers only care the ML, that's it... I invested my caring to many characters and 90% of them choose the pathetic path, I feel betrayed, I was like 'did the writers gave a huge middle finger to the viewers like me?!' and I reply 'F-U back'. I feel like this drama has couple more episodes because if they remove it, they made a dumb mistake but if they didn't remove it but added more episodes instead then that's even more stupid decision ever! ONE OF THE WORST DRAMA I'VE EVER SEEN!!!

She's great but sometimes the voters behind Baeksang doesn't always a fan of psychotic characters... Because that role can be performed so well by any professional actors/actresses in the industry so it's not easy to say she pull it off...
so far... this is the best drama of any dramas I've watched in 2026... I wonder which can surpass this one in my list. The drama has average plot, it's not bad at all but boy oh boy ... the chemistry and the romance so well written with great direction also the visual effects deserve high praised, the greatest vfx/CGI in a drama so far👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🩵🩵🩵. This is definitely S tier level of production. The ost/bgm so well score/compose🙌🏼. The greatest Dilraba's drama I've ever seen, her performance and her portrayal of the role definitely an award worthy nominee🥰. Arthur is really fine as a lead role too in this one . The other characters has their own charm and nice moments nothing boring at all. even the character Yan Gay was written as an antagonist part flawlessly 👏🏼. The special episode as a bonus really gave the viewers the fan service they need👍🏼 (looks like a deleted scene but they release it anyway, that's good)
