I think you also got brainwash abt xu kai's fans being bad fans. I have seen loads of posts on FB and Twitter saying things abt his fans, but what most people didn't know is many haters impersonate as his fans to put negative image on him. Also marketing twisted his fans words to start war with other fandoms. I'm not saying all his fans are good, of coz there are those who cause trouble but many have left to fangirl other actors.

Actually for me Xu Kai's disadvantage is his face. His introspective performances make up for this disadvantage. He got rich expressions and excellent understanding of characters and story. He will laid out his character growth as the story flows. Not directly put in act like a short video on douyin/tiktok where people can instantly see the chemistry.
