I prefer bad-guys. You know why? Because it's hate at first sight. The characters will have to evolve, to love each other in the end. Nice guys belong in genres OTHER than romance. Like action/thriller/fantasy. Because then you have a sub-plot, that disguises how many hours they spend, repeating "I love you" back & forth. If you think that sounds nice, find a camera, and record yourself for 20 hours straight doing just that. It will quickly become boring.

The good guy is always so lonely...how sad.
Nice guys finish last. Isn't there a saying like that? I love the Nigahiga version on youtube.

Some people are really not liking the 2 guys kissing. Honestly? That's what convinced me to keep watching, and I'm liking it so far! The haircuts? Park Ki Woong is the cutest I've ever seen him. No Min Woo is a lot hotter than that, but I feel his hairstyle suits his character. Same with Hwang Jung Eum. I honestly feel the plot (so far) is strong enough to cover their horendous costumes. I never did manage to finish the original (yawn) and FH2 is VERY different in that regards.

Before dramas came along, I didn't even know South Korea existed. Well I did...but only because it was the only country in the Beijing Olympics that were split into the "North & South." I remember thinking "I bet there's beef between them" & moving on with my life.

Dramas are cool. I do get irritated with them but they fill a special niche.

Americans are obsessed with sex, drugs, falling off the rails. Bollywood are still casting pretty young things, with older, slightly less good-looking men with dated song and dance numbers. Which is fun...but until a short while ago, there was NO KISSING.

And then there's J/K-drama. Young actors. Not full of sleaze. It's so full of innocence it moves my jaded heart. Nobody can compete with them in this field. And although I do hope plots are improved, there's less "flashbacking", & consistent writers are drafted in...they are onto something neat.

Can't wait to see No Min Woo acting again but what's up with his hair.. XDDD
You know how the lead guy always had to act mean, cool, and downright unhappy all the time? Yeah, I think we found the reason in this one! :)

I find Jan Di to be annoying at times and she made me really dislike the character.
You mean the actress "Goo Hye Sun" made you dislike the character? I have to agree with you. But I also think, despite the iffy portrayal, Jan Di was actually an awesome character. She does everything the blogger says, and more. It's true. Not many girls would be able to stand up to such focused scrutiny/bullying and walk away, relatively normal.

The first 3 episodes were so amazing. The whole unique selling point was that she was a ghost, until they took…
Oh cheers omnichelle. For having my back :) But Brigicz does have a valid point, and I'm not watching it^^ However a clear emphasis needs to made, that a person shouldn't be crucified for having an opinion different to yours. I am a mature young adult, and will like to think you are too. So yeah. Basically echoing my buddy up there ^^^^

Love you oppa!!
You mean ajussi? :) But no, seriously, I love him too! Such a cutie.

The first 3 episodes were so amazing. The whole unique selling point was that she was a ghost, until they took that away, and made her human :( Then it became your average Midsommer Murders, with Lee Jun Ki as PC Barnaby.

I admit, when I first started watching k-dramas everyone looked the same. I couldn't tell you the lead protagonist from a random extra lurking in the background. But I have "sensors" now: and I'm prepared for the "They all look like girls" comment everytime (although I do secretly agree). I brush it off with a :"You don't know what you're missing." I'm actually the friend who was "converted" by my other friends. It was like watching my favourite cliches come to life. No other market caters for this!

The first 3 episodes are very good. A little confused about Eun Gi "loosing her memory." It looked like she was cushioning him to her busom in the ep 4 preview, without any amnesia involved. And how hot does Ma Ru look in black? Is he the guy, who played the gay character in SKKS?

49 days was the stand-out drama of 2011, purely because everything else was cr*p :) No, I jest. It's an awesome drama, and watch out for the Scheduler *drools* and unexpected ending. This show had great cliffhangers! That's what kept me watching O.o Lol, I'm entering university this year for a degree in Primary Education. Crazy, right? Me around little kids? Ah well- it's my calling in life. Right behind, a Fanfiction Writer :)

Just the first episode, made me want to become a "meninist." Which if you don't know, is feminism for men. How servent-like were the butlers? Which I know is the whole point...but all that bowing/prostrating/obedience/worshipping got to me. Not a good look, guys.

I second that and no problem ;) Your profile was an entertaining read btw. My 1st drama was BOF too, but after watching several Goo Hye Sun dramas (The Musical, Take care of the Captain) I think I will struggle if I tried to rewatch BOF...

Good news! I think Kim Hyun Joong (nearly called him hyung there, lol) is in a drama this winter. I don't think he's the best...but hopefully he's improved since Playful Kiss :/ Excited? Think F4 are doing well in the real world? LOL.

Can I call it a sleeper hit? I originally shirked it, because I thought it jumped on the "time travel" bandwagon. But did it ever! (That means no, btw.) The episodes can range from 1/2 hour to 50 minutes. It makes me feel nostalgic for the 90's. With the phone booths, and windows 97. How awesome was that scene...

Wait. I'll write a review when it finishes (or I reach the end) :P

Oh my dayz :P How much do you love Lee Min Ki? I really think he should be the lead of a romance drama anyday now...still waiting...it's cruel how they snuffed him in Shut up Flower Boy Band. Really? Hit by a truck? Just after he got beaten up by a maffia gang? Edge of the seat material right there.

Like? You can't just say there's so many better romance dramas, & leave it there! I notice 2 of ur fav dramas involve "girl dressing up as boy"...is that ur fav plotline? Me too! I can't get over how much I love that...She's the Man alerted me to the situation :D The inner girl inside me, just giggles I guess, because the guys r usually so DENSE, and think they're gay...and rofl. Never gets old! Are you currently watching To the Beautiful You?

I'm impressed. Does that mean (refering to your profile) you know 3 languages now? English/German & Chinese?

You got me O.o I do love me a bit of cheese :D However, because I love cheese doesn't mean I like them overusing the same plot arc. If they are, all I ask, is a little bit of originality. So yes...I start a lot of dramas and rarely finish. Doesn't mean I'll give up hope...because the k-drama/T-drama/J-drama scene is getting better year on year...FRIEND! ;)
