It's a horrible feeling to fall out of love with a drama. It happened at the end of episode 4, and try as I might,…
I desperately didn't want the reason why he saved her, to be because they knew each other as "kids." And he's the guy she's been looking for her entire life. That was standard kdrama cop-out, and is used much more than I'd like.
It's a horrible feeling to fall out of love with a drama. It happened at the end of episode 4, and try as I might, it no longer has a spell over me O.o
I would have given this a 10, but I marked it down by TWO points, because of the stupid romance that failed to deliver. But I watched every episode, and was not tempted to stray like a faithful puppy. ACTION/DRAMA IT DOES VERY WELL!
i really hate how people say bad things about supporting actors here i mean ryu is a great actor u should see…
LoL, I totally agree about the old dudes plotting crap around a table! Every daebak drama needs to have this, apparently.
I personally like Ryu. (He's the King, right?) He usually has people fighting for him, but I like the way he portrays intense dislike (but yet he cares) for the Queen.
More Korean writers need to cotton on about the schemeing oldies. They R so boooring. ZZZZZZZZZZ.
I don't care about the age gap between both main leads. They make me not care about stupid stuff like that. However, I did skip a few scenes (due to boringness) whilst others were very good! Love the dynamic between the King and Queen.
disappointing really..wierd characters within a cliched plot..
You must have a heart of stone, to say that. Yes, falling in love is the most cliched thing I can think of, and I find it terribly mundane. But sometimes it's breathtaking. It's all you can think off, and all the more tragic, if they're snatched away from you.

The characters aren't weird. They are introspective, introverted and full of appreciation for the world. If that makes them weird, then I don't know how else to convince you...
I thought Mizoshima Hiro was going to be Night. But then I guess not... So i'm dropping this. >.<
It's a bit unfair to drop a drama without even giving it a chance. I consider this one of the best Japanese romance dramas of all time. But if you're dropping it because of something so petty...then your loss.
Woah! She's been in loads of dramas! I've only watched 7 of them...
Anyway, Otanjoubi Omedetou!!!!
The first thing I saw her in was Zetta Kareshi, so I immediately liked her. Imagine my despair when I saw her catty ways in Buzzer Beat. But that's the mark of a good actress, no?
I am delighted it features London, because I live here :) But I cannot believe Godffrey's character took his "i count calories in everything i eat" girlfriend to a gastro pub. I felt really bad for her, because she was dressed to the nines, and was more suited for the Ritz than a pub :(
He is "the future star to watch." I'm not pinning too much on his shoulders, but I hope he stars in a drama that deserves him :) A bit like Chilling Romance...but longer.
It was a nice blend of horror and rom-com. The closest you can get to THAT is the "Scary Movie" franchise in Hollywood. And even that focused too little on romance ;)
All those over exaggerated goodbyes in the end, did me in. "Ashiya! I will miss you." (Aww, that was sweet) "Ashiya, you are my world!" (Okay..) "Ashiya, I know we never met before, but yet I have been ridiculously placed in this scene, with never-ending gates, to say how much I love you. Which is crazy. Because I'm just an extra they roped in last minute." (Bingo, dude!)
