I genuinely don't want this to be fake. Despite the bad translation, I understood the gist of it. An 18 year old boy, arrives with his father, at his grandma's house. There he meets his cousin and falls for her. He's advised to leave, and does so promptly. Meanwhile the girl is hellbent in proving she's no spinster, just coz she ain't got no bf, and local posh boy takes notice. She eventually gives up trying to prove everyone wrong- but it's too late. Posh boy won't let her fade into obscurity. And then her cousin returns back from Seoul...
That sounds bloody interesting! Please let it be true :'(
disappointing really..wierd characters within a cliched plot..
You must have a heart of stone, to say that. Yes, falling in love is the most cliched thing I can think of, and I find it terribly mundane. But sometimes it's breathtaking. It's all you can think off, and all the more tragic, if they're snatched away from you.

The characters aren't weird. They are introspective, introverted and full of appreciation for the world. If that makes them weird, then I don't know how else to convince you...
I thought Mizoshima Hiro was going to be Night. But then I guess not... So i'm dropping this. >.<
It's a bit unfair to drop a drama without even giving it a chance. I consider this one of the best Japanese romance dramas of all time. But if you're dropping it because of something so petty...then your loss.
Woah! She's been in loads of dramas! I've only watched 7 of them...
Anyway, Otanjoubi Omedetou!!!!
The first thing I saw her in was Zetta Kareshi, so I immediately liked her. Imagine my despair when I saw her catty ways in Buzzer Beat. But that's the mark of a good actress, no?
I am delighted it features London, because I live here :) But I cannot believe Godffrey's character took his "i count calories in everything i eat" girlfriend to a gastro pub. I felt really bad for her, because she was dressed to the nines, and was more suited for the Ritz than a pub :(
He is "the future star to watch." I'm not pinning too much on his shoulders, but I hope he stars in a drama that deserves him :) A bit like Chilling Romance...but longer.
It was a nice blend of horror and rom-com. The closest you can get to THAT is the "Scary Movie" franchise in Hollywood. And even that focused too little on romance ;)
All those over exaggerated goodbyes in the end, did me in. "Ashiya! I will miss you." (Aww, that was sweet) "Ashiya, you are my world!" (Okay..) "Ashiya, I know we never met before, but yet I have been ridiculously placed in this scene, with never-ending gates, to say how much I love you. Which is crazy. Because I'm just an extra they roped in last minute." (Bingo, dude!)
I know peeps will laugh at me, but I want there to be a "You're Beautiful: Season 2"- time's ticking, Hong sisters! This year or next year is the right time to bring it back. Will make the "Go Mi Nam" going away to Africa for several years seem real.
The Parents Storyline was crazy bad. Most of it was spent with lingering looks, that was wasting my time and theirs. Their dialogue was limited to short sentences for "maximum impact." After so much maximum impact, I wanted to bang my head against the desk. I eventually settled for throwing the drama far, far away.
He confuses me. I can't make up my mind if he's a fantastic actor or he can barely act. His vocal range is up there with the greats, but sometimes his face (therefore his expressions) can be a little stiff...
I am itching for this drama to start. Guaranteed I'll chew it up, and spit it out like so many other dramas, but that's looking ahead. No Min Woo is very sexy.
That sounds bloody interesting! Please let it be true :'(
