I wonder if she'll reprise her role for Journey to Glow... I wonder how good the script is for that drama...
probably not because of how the production team treated her when she was receiving a lot of hate

there is rumors around a 2nd collab between Esther and Heyu, called Fairy Meat or Shen Xian Rou, can anyone tell me what the story is about if it's originally a novel?

the ending of the drama is more of a closure that they do meet again. the canon ending i take is the novel version.…
they should've kept this in the drama, it makes it more interesting and adds more context to their love story, basically coming in full circle.

The novel almost has 475 chapters, although I am not sure.
Ya I noticed that after seeing the actress who is playing Xie Ping or Zhi Ping. In the book she is supposed to be 12 or 13 but she looks 17

Some of her SOLO fans ( big accounts) need to do a better Job of defending her especially on X. A lot of the same…
I honestly don't engage with them because u end up giving them the attention that they need. Even if you defend Esther and argue with these adamant haters, you will end up talking to a wall instead. So, personally, the best action is to report the post or block them or if u want to take it to the next level, spread those haters' account amongst Esther's fans to just collectively make a massive report on that account then social media can ban the account. But the point here is to better protect your energy and not feed the hate rather than fighting every comment.

Title Yunchu's Vengeance Spoiler
The novel almost has 475 chapters, although I am not sure.
im currently reading the novel, but so far 98% cunning mind games. A lot of people say Yun Chu is like Yu Weishan from My Journey to You...not at all. Yun Chu is way more cunning and ruthless, *spoiler: she doesn't care if you are 12 yrs old, 8 yrs old, you are dead to her...But Esther will literally be mothering in this role, like literal Mother!

Some have called her acting cringe, but there is literally a whole team filming that acting and approving it.…
Mind you her parents are business people, they wouldn't waste a lot of money just to spoil their daughter. Reason rich business people are rich and stay rich is because they actually know where, how, and when to use and earn their money.

Something I noticed while rewatching -- Esther and He Yu complement each other's acting strengths and weaknesses:As…
That’s actually surprising, because I’d say the opposite. I think her micro-expressions have improved compared to her previous dramas. Where it falters for me is her voice, especially when MuMu is supposed to be 19 to 20. There needed to be more balance in her tonality. She leans into a high-pitched, overly cute voice to position herself in the “little sister” role, but at times it goes too far. I wasn’t hearing a sheltered young adult. I was hearing someone closer to 10 to 16. It felt very aegyo, in Korean terms.

That said, I understand the complexity of portraying MuMu. She’s meant to come across as spoiled and sheltered, someone going through a coming-of-age while still psychologically stuck in the memory of being the little sister from ten years ago. I also think part of the issue lies in the writing. The lines themselves lack a clear intention toward innocence, and instead end up sounding childish.

However, during serious and crying scenes, she majorly improved in that part, I would say.

Some have called her acting cringe, but there is literally a whole team filming that acting and approving it. Film is a business industry not a playground where anyone can just do whatever they want. There people who actually care to do this work and they have materials to refer to have everything right ie. the original novel. There is huge money involved here. Esther is an employee whose job is an actress, where casting directors, producers, scriptwriters have to approve if they are suitable for the role or not. A lot has this misconception that just because she comes from a wealthy family, all of a sudden she runs the whole show.
