I just watched this special episode in which supposedly the actual finale. Don't know why they have to separate this if they just want to have a happy ending. Glad, at least they tried. Still not happy with Prince/Emperor Xu Xing Cheng. Sadly, up to the last moment he still does everything for Xu Chu yue, unconditionally. The birthstone has not been explained if it still with her or not. And I think the flashback of Infanta and Prince Ning of how they got together doesn't fit, since Chu Yue reversed everything using the birthstone, so technically, they should not be aware that the poisonous smoke emission ever happened.

Oh, I haven't. Thanks for the info. Still, quite feel disappointed with the entire drama itself. I really love the main leads and was hoping more of sweet bond moments, Sadly, they just have that brief moment for around 1 epi or 2.

Such a waste of time. Super slow paced and Slow burn ever! Main leads became an official couple on final episode. WTH! I just admired the character of the main lead who's so loyal and caring. Didn't like the character of the FL. She has so many hangups. Not really an ideal innocent looking girl.

So love Richard Li's character here. Such a sweet, faithful and loving guy. Enjoyed this drama, though it's quite short and not completely subbed yet. Hope to see more of Richard Li in future dramas.

Again, I feel that this drama was kinda over rated. Main reason for watching this drama is because of the main leads. I liked Zheng Ye Cheng in Lovers under the Full Moon and of course, Hu Yi xuan of Unforgettable Love. Both great actors indeed. It didn't gave me a good vibe watching this drama, I guess it definitely lacked the romantic element. They became an actual couple at epi. 33 which is 3 ep away from the finale. Scenes are spent most of the time solving their issues and merely as a couple. And the ending is really unjustifiable, like afterall they have went through. General's Lady drama was way presented better than this. I just thought this would be good because of the fantasy aspect, sadly, I was disappointed. And the fate of the supporting leads aren't that good as well. I was hoping for Prince Xu Xing Chen to have a partner for himself, as he too deserves to be happy.

There's not much story in this drama. It's like a portrayal on how to deal with your daily lives in different aspects such as marriage, divorce, friendships, gender preferences and most specially relationships. The first 10 ep. was a bit drag, nothing much exciting but kinda picked up on the last 6 episodes. It gave lots of good life lessons to ponder on. It taught about courage, understanding and acceptance. Still, I gave this drama a go. Kinda bit slow, still worth watching.

I feel like this drama was a bit over rated. First, too many episodes where it cold have squeezed in to 24. Second, romance is really lacking here. The main leads became an actual couple on ep. 32. Isn't too much Slow-burn for a drama?!!! Third, too much tragedy in this drama that you won't feel good even after watching it. Fourth, I felt the love story more between the Second Male Lead and FL rather than the ML. Fifth, the acting was just a so so...I guess. I've watched so many dramas of Xing Fei, noticeably, her acting are all the same in all dramas. Lacks versitality. The only good actor in this drama is Feng Bufei. I really enjoyed watching his character.

This drama got me hooked from ep.1. Must agree that I have to fwd the secondary couple scenes. Great chemistry and acting by the main leads. Enjoyed every single moment of the main leads. Sweetness overload. worth watching.

This is such a slow-burn drama just like Sunshine of My Life. I just think this drama is kinda over rated. With 36 eps., the romance just started to kick in at ep. 21 with lots of unnecessary scenes. Been forwarding most of the time. And yes, the age they portray doesn't fit the character itself. Everything's acted upon childishly by the main leads. Starting to think about dropping this drama. :(
