A Different Take On Love
I'm not really into BL dramas, but, this one got me curious and gave it a shot. First, I really like the realistic approach. As far as I've seen, Korean entertainment is starting to loosen up their conservative side in terms of doing this type of genre, which is a good move I may say.For the story, I got hooked on the first 6 eps. of the story. It was a roller coaster of emotions. I honestly liked Go Young's character. Not only he is cute, literally, but has a pure heart as well. The friendship he made with Mi Ae was truly priceless. I really loved the strong bond between these two. Though, at the back of my mind, I was hoping they would notch up there friendship beyond sisters. Still, the bond remained inspite of pursuing their different track in their lives. And yes, Mi Ae's wedding was so heartwarming to see. The song between these sisters show how bonded they really are.
Go Young's squad was another epic characters in this drama. Having friends through thick and thin are truly priceless. I'm just not sure if he was able to open up with them about his sickness. As far as I remember, he was too cautious for them to learn about it after seeing their reactions of one person they know who was infected.
The sad fate of Go Young's mom was another heartwarming moment in this drama. Though, I know there are times that he needed to vent out by going out to the club with his friends while his mom was being taken care of by a caregiver. It just felt a bit off. Like, thinking his mom was suffering and there he was clubbing. But, yeah, as youthful as he is, probably that's really his way to ease out his burdens. It's just sad that he never admitted to his mom his preference but yeah, his mom learned about it through the photo and yes, when she gave her full savings to Young, it's a sign of her acceptance. Am sure it was a really tough decision for the mom knowing she's active in Church based on the background given.
And yes, for Go Young's series of relationships, the first cheater boyfriend who eventually gave him the virus on the latter part of the drama. And the very serious, Nam Gyu, the photographer who also ended up in a sad fate. In which, Young was really not into him. Then, there was Young So, the hideous activist. Really not the right partner for him, though he was very passionate with Go Young. The real deal Gyu Ho. I really liked how they met at the bar. and I think, GH was the one who truly cared for him. Accepted as who he was. Yet, they have different paths to take. I guess, their love for each other wasn't truly enough.
I was a bit confused with Habibi's character. He suddenly popped at the last 2 eps of the drama that felt drag for me. I probably missed how he met Habibi as I tried to forward some parts. Am not sure how he was related to Gyu Ho. And it seems he met him in a dating app I think or social media page, this I'm unsure of. But, his character seems just a filler towards the end. Nothing significant since he has a family and his work confused me as well. He is Japanese but speaks good English. He travels a lot I presume since they met in Korea and also in Thailand.
Anyways, the ending is just okay for me. But, not what I'm hoping for. The relationship of GY with his dad is another complicated story. Overall, it was a good drama. Actors absolutely nailed their roles specially, Nam Yoon Su. The steaminess in this drama were very well portrayed. It made me believe that it is their gender preference in real life. But like I said, the final 2 eps. simply drag for me. Lots of flashbacks of GY and GH that I find irrelevant since their not even getting back together.
This is really recommendable who's really in to BL dramas. Not really my cup of tea. But, the actors are truly commendable, honestly.

Alpaca Mania
First, I'm not really a fan, but, I liked both leads. As for Tian Jian Ci, I've seen him in several dramas, but, one character of him stood out for me and that is in Lost you Forever, where he was a Demon God. This is the first time I saw him doing a romcom. Honest opinion, this is not is turf. His charm exudes more when he does serious roles. Not also a fan of his Harry Potter look. He looked better I think in Love Me, Love My Voice. As for Li Landy, I've seen her mostly doing romcoms, may it be a modern or historical era. And yes, most of her dramas I've seen are fantasy dramas. I think, this is her turf.Storyplot: I'm a fan of Sci-fi and Fantasy dramas. The idea of using a Smart bracelet is interesting. CGI used are awesome. Really did great on that aspect. At the beginning, I honestly didn't like how the FL has been treated by the ML. Bickering might be okay. But liking 2 different women, with 2 different looks seems a red flag for me. It really took time for ML to realize the real person behind those faces. And didn't like the way ML being harsh with his words in terms of FL looks. I know, this was related to their adolescent era in HS that ML didn't like FL due to a misunderstanding which they never discussed till the end as I noticed. This is one of the dramas that I made lots of skips due to the excessive use of the filter that mostly for me are unnecessary. It is super slowburn. MC became official I think around ep.24 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not a fan as well of the 2D or 3D mode of the filter that FL turned into an Alpaca or a mop, even a bronze statue,a painting, or anything that she disguised of. These are too childish for me. In terms of romance, which is the main reason I watched this. For some reason, I find the chemistry bland for the MC. The kisses are fish kisses. I think SC was able to nail more of the spicy feels and good kisses. The proposal and wedding was okay. But, I think it would be better if the SC had that proposal and wedding. They deserve it more given that their bundle of joy is coming.
Overall, if you're so into fantasy and sci-fi, you'll enjoy this drama. It is very light, fluffy. No major antagonist. FL's parents are very supportive. The sister though. Didn't like her personality much, since she bullies FL in the beginning. She's been supportive to FL towards the end, but, I think she's not good in expressing her ways in a kind manner. The SC is more interesting in terms of romance. For ML, he's just okay I think. But, not a guy I would dream of as a partner.
Definitely, this is not a rewatch drama for me. But, maybe, it is for Tian Jian Ci fans.

When Your Wife Calls
I thought this series would lead me back to Kdrama. Unfortunately, it failed me again. This is your another clichéd Kdrama full of murder, crimes, political and family rivalry. I'm here supposedly for the romance. But, the romance I am hoping for took a back seat in the story. Oh yes, it started again with that aloof, domineering, snob character of the ML. Which expectedly would make a turn towards the end of the drama. Yes, everything is predictable, from the crime itself, the childhood flashbacks, the orphanage and the romance itself. Very poor storyplot. Lots of unnecessary characters like the sister of the FL who didn't play a significant role at all, FL's colleagues in the court or judiciary. The idea of the burner phone is too lame for me just to express ones feelings. Even poor execution of crime solving. Like, a car that can be easily hacked and operated by a culprit but a simple burner phone cannot be easily located or even decoded by the Office of the President. Like, how inefficient such office can be?
Anyways, this is a wasted potential. If only the writers focused on the romance, instead of the too overly used crime trope, it would have been much more interesting. Yes, this is a total slowburn. Why let the audience wait for the finale for a married couple to get intimate? Can't it be at least halfway thru? or better yet, after the wedding ceremony itself since the feeling is mutual anyway. Would have been much better if they have kids in the finale.
Mysterious Love or My Lethal Man Cdrama is way better than this.
I was suppose to give this a 7.0 for the minimal romantic interaction between the leads. The actors were all awesome. My first time to watch Yoo Yeon Seok in a drama. Second time for Chae Soo Bin as first seen her in I'm Not A Robot. Still, gave an overall rating of 8.0 for the intimate finale scene. Definitely, chemistry was there. Another overrated drama.

Upside Down Could've Been
This is a truly wasted potential. Had a really strong arc in the beginning. The shaman aspect of the story got me hooked. I've always been into ghost and exorcism stories. Given that it's also romance is a total package. There are certain points in the story that I didn't quite catch into. Like how was Gyeon U related to Yeomhwa, that he was cursed by her instead of the grandmother? And that girl that Gyeon U kept on calling with his phone that it seems he is repaying something for her that he isn't suppose to be doing since I think what may have happened to her isn't done intentionally by Gyeon U. Gyeon U's relationship to his parents aren't clear enough for me either. Is it like, he was abandoned by them because of his curse and the grandmother took charge of taking care of him instead?
Anyways, I liked the side characters. I mean the MC's school friends. Like Jin Ung and Hyeri. I feel sad for Ji Ho's character. He is technically should be Seong A's first love. I like that he does everything for her. sadly, he was friendzoned.
This is my second time to watch Choo Yoong Woo in a drama. Last drama I saw him as ML was in Once Upon A Small Town. He played a hot Veterinarian. He literally reminds me of Rowoon. I see they quite have a resemblance.
The cast nailed their roles. The story just went Upside Down for me. Specially the last 2 eps. That time lapse of 2 years ruined it all. It would have been better if Seong Ha fulfilled her dream of graduating from HS and College. And yes, definitely the romance department have been lacking. The kiss was only done in the finale and not even executed well.
It would have been better for me to have Yeomwha died instead of the mom. I know she has to shoulder the consequences of her actions and have to suffer while living alone. But, it would be epic I guess to see her reunited with her child.
Overall, the finale felt rushed. Could have been better if MC had a child in the end and named their son Bong Su. Truly a wasted potential for me. I can only give this a 7.5

Romance in reality
Am sure, this is not everyone's cup of tea. This is basically one of those dramas in real form.Yes, I got hooked because of the good story plot of this drama. It showned how romance in reality is. It is not your typical damsel in distress, overbearing CEO that will save the FL using money and power and yes, not really the lived happily ever after ending.
For the good points, all the casts really pulled off their role. Specially, the FL, Tian Xi Wei. I usually see her playing cutesie roles in Xian xia and historical dramas. It's good to see a different side of her playing a bit mature role. Her heart breaking parts really lead me to be teary eyed. For the 3 ML's whom I should say should have been tagged only as support roles as all of them are antagonists so to speak. For Qu Yi Peng, his character seem really hateable, but, in reality, yes, there are men out there who really is just like him. Just to get out of poverty, would find his way up in whatever methods he would use may it be risking love. For, Zhou Bin, Oh yes, a lot of men like him is totally out there. To be specific, married men. Once gaining money and power, cheating should also be in his system. Not generalizing, but, it's a fact that there are also lots of married men just like him in reality. And lastly, Gao Peng, I really feel sad for his character. I was really hoping the writer would give him a charcter development, but sadly, it turned to the opposite direction. I really felt his sincerity for Nan Nan in the beginning. He may not be the expressive guy we wanted him to be but he tried his best in the beginning and I believe his loyalty for Nan Nan was there. Sadly, money and power ate him and made him the most hated guy you'd ever want. I was hoping for him to remain loyal for Nan Nan inspite the obstacles their relationship have to go through. Hoping, he would realize that Nan Nan is absolutely the rightful and only woman for him since Nan Nan is always there in his lowest moments. Am definitely disappointed that the writer ruined his character. I would have given this a higher rating if they actually ended up together.
Anyways, for Han Su, Yu Tong always play this kind of roles. The smart, workaholic girl who always doesn't have time for romance and work is always her top priority. Not a fan of her role, but she became the bestie of all I should say. She was always there to listen to each of the characters in this drama....literally.
For Han Han, yes, another hopeless romantic who whose willing to risk everything for love. She may have weak points but gained being strong towards the end. Her role truly depicts lots of women in reality. A victim yet tagged as home wrecker. I guess, the main moral lesson in her story, doing background check before fully commiting to someone is a must. Specially, when you think your prospect have signs of being a married guy.
For the other guys involved such as Wang Zi Lu, I honestly don't like his character. He is straightforward as Nan Nan in which for me is not a good match. They're too the same. In a relationship, it is important to have balance IN BETWEEN the couple's personalities to have a harmonious relationship. If both have the same personalites, no one would lower his/her flag that will just result to separation. And for Luo Ma, his character just seem a filler for Su Su. Yet, his character is what Su Su needs. Someone who will find all his ways to get her heart.
After completing the drama, honestly, it didn't felt good. I still feel Nan Nan could've ended up with a better guy, it really could've been Gao Peng, since they had a strong foundation of friendship even after the breakup, they realized how they matured together. Or, the new neighbor could've been a good prospect. I really don't find WZL a good match for her.
As for the friendship of the 3 girls. It does feel awkward to be friends with the person who technically snatched your ex bf. I know Han Su is too mature to accept that and Nan nan can easily let go of everything as Gao Peng said. I'm just not a fan of that kind of friendship. Overall, it's 7.5 for me.

Unexpected Husband
First, I watched this for Bai Jing Ting. Liked him since the drama The Rise of the Phoenixes. As expected, He nailed his role here as Gu Jiu Si. I really enjoyed the first half of the story. I never thought BJT could also be so good in comedy. He really made me laugh. I'm not a fan of the FL. Her acting cutesie in the beginning by being a crybaby didn't work for me. Though, her character was a smart wife who can handle real deal business and manage the household well. As for the antagonist, Luo Zi Shang, being portrayed by Liu Xue YI, oh my, I also liked him. Why does he have to be a villain in this drama? Such a good looking antagonist. I simply didn't understand his character as a Grand Tutor. Like, why he has all this power and can manipulate everyone? He's not even a high profile official of the palace, not until the end that he was granted a position after interfering with the edict of the late Emperor.Anyways, lots of things were stretched too long in this drama that should have shortened the number of episodes. I had to do lots of skips for the unnecessary political drama. I also hated the part when Jiu Si was framed by the Prince. And yes, when the Prince also forcibly took the throne was stretched too long.
For the positive aspect, I liked the friendship that transpired with the MC and Zhuo Ye and the Fl's ex fiance Ye Shian. Battle scenes were well presented. I also liked how the Late Emperor dodged the Empress Dowager on Jiu Si's issue. And yes, this power MC can always solve every obstacle that comes their way. Chemistry was definitely there. But, this is definitely too slow burn. Kisses were only done in 2 eps. (27&28) which I think is too lacking. Another downside for me in the romance aspect, like, they have already been an official married couple but, it really took time for them to be physically intimate together. It's just too hard to believe for a couple being in love, sleeps together yet can't be intimate. I mean, this is not a child's playhouse. I forgot to mention, I liked how GJS slammed and rejected the Princess straightforwardly while in prison. That was another epic scene.
I also feel like justice has not been really served well in this drama. Like The Prince should have been punished for the murder he has done and framed the ML. And yes, Luo Zi Shang, didn't even get to pay for his wrong doings. Oh, but I have to mention, Jiu Si's epic winning battle with Liang's reign.
The finale for the MC is simply okay for me. Not really I'm wow'd about. Like I said, would have been better if there were more sweet moments for the MC and skinships. Overall, I gave this a 7.5 Not my fave BJT drama, but surely he's admirable still for his portrayal.

Never Ending Amnesia Trope
I checked out this drama, first because of the high ratings and second, saw clips that this would have a HE.It started interesting for me, not until the amnesia tropes began. Given the rebirth that happened for the FL, I would completely understand the loss of memory in the beginning. That process was kinda stretched out too long for me, though partly, it is where the romance have to develop. Mid way, that part was kinda resolved. Romance was kinda developed then, another amnesia arc happened. It was the ML this time. So, FL have to work her way to recover ML's memory which took another long process. Then led to another amnesia trope towards the finale for ML. Like, WTH?!!! 40 eps has been stretched for a never ending arc of amnesia. Their troubles seem endless too. Like, they even have to resolve the troubles of the side characters. I just find it too tiring to watch a never ending series of obstacles along the MC's way. Not even a time for sweet moments together. Like, the kisses just happened in around 4 eps. I think and very short ones. 2 of them I believe was either of them was drunk that it would have to happen.
Because everything was stretched too long, I have to forward most scenes. I wasn't even excited about the wedding because I got tired of watching all their never ending battles and fight scenes. Even my most anticipated sweet intimate time they would have on the wedding night was just totally cut off. Like what?!!!
The cast did great in terms of acting. Specially the FL. I've seen Deng Wei in several dramas but I got to remember him on Lost You Forever S1 and S2. He honestly reminds me of Xiao Zhan. They kinda resemble. And they are both conservative in terms of kisses and doing intimate scenes in their dramas. Like, they avoid them. Not really a fan of both actors. As for Julia Xiang, I just noticed she was the FL in Forever Lover with Wang An Yu, which was a good drama I must say. She still did great here. I honestly like her character. But, I think I like her better as Xu RanRan than Mu Qingge. Xu RanRan is bolder than Mu that I like better. I'm not a fan of ML's character. Yes, he was devoted to our beloved FL but his character was so over the top, like he keeps on being infected of the evil aura that loses himself most of the time. That arc was kinda looping and gets tiring already.
The finale was cute. But, I would still prefer if they had more intimate moments together. Most of the episodes were wasted in battles. As for the side characters, I know Su Yu was supposedly a villain character, but, I was hoping he was still given a character development and could have been better to have a HE with Fei Hua. Dun Tian/ Ye Xin's character was also stretched too long. they could have ended his issues at least in the 38th ep. So the last 2 eps could have focused on romance for the MC and even the side characters. Yes, this was too slow burn. I'm a fan of fire and passion romance, so, I guess, this was just too cutesie for me. Not my cup of tea. I find some moments funny with their injected humor. But the rest is just too tiring to watch.
Overall, if you're so into Xian xia and enjoys never ending battles of immortal power. This is for you. I wouldn't rewatch this long drama with minimal romance.

Your Majesty In Seoul City
This drama reminded me of The Rooftop Prince. I was first introduced to the food Omurice because of the said drama.Almost the same plot because of the time travelling.
It started well. I got hooked. As the title suggest, the drama focused on cooking in the Joseon era. The romance was there but not focused until midway of the drama. Lee Chaemin definitely stole the spotlight here. He really shined and carried the entire drama. As for Yoona. I've seen her drama since Love Rain. I haven't seen any changes from her in terms of acting. She's just okay but, not really I would look forward to in another drama.
Story-wise, I'm not really happy about it. Yes, I understand, this is all about cooking and food which is the main focus. Infused with some royalty politics and yes, romance. I just find some scenes stretched too long. Like the cooking competition with the Ming's. And of course, the treason by the Uncle. It would have been better I think if they gave the supporting casts some story of their own which could have been a better filler instead of stretching out unecessary scenes. Like, I was hoping a developing story for So Gil Geum and Gong Gil.
The romance for the MC is quite bland. The writer tried to gave it all towards the end given the epilogue. The kisses for me, were badly executed. It just didn't felt natural till the finale.
As for the finale, so many unexplained things which felt really rushed. Like, how did FL got to the hospital? I mean, she should be back at the airplane. Her wounds remained. So, the entire kitchen team of Joseon got reincarnated without their memories back. Even Im Song Jae, didn't get his memory back. Yet, MC got the memories intact.
The CGI was good towards the finale. I just didn't appreciate the CGI's used everytime ML tastes the food. It felt like over the top.
Overall, inspite its flaws, I still gave this drama an 8.0 rating. That is for Lee Chaemin. This is really is breakthrough drama.

Fated Amnesia
I am honestly not a fan of the leads, but, definitely they nailed their roles in this drama. At first, I don't have high expectations with this drama. I was thinking this was just another clichéd historical drama. Surprisingly, I got hooked from ep1. FL's character is very likeable. She's a bad ass in archery, swordsmanship and yes, martial arts. Same goes with the ML, the God of war as he was tagged in the drama. At the first arc, I find the enemies stage of the leads quite harsh as they need to go to a point to hurt each other physically and brutally. And yes, I just don't like the idea that they have to always call it even with their exchange of physical battles. I'm also not a fan of amnesia's, so, boy am I glad that the amnesia thing here was given a different approach. Like, no unnecessary drama for the MC. Everything was so direct to the point.I really enjoyed more than halfway of the drama. From how the MC built their romance, the story behind each character, the humor injected in between, and the most epic part, the lines given by each character. From the protagonists to the antagonists, the sarcasm is so epic.
There are some points I just need to point out like the 3 kids. I don't see the relevance of their character here. It seems their story are just fillers which didn't give much relevance towards the end. Then for Wu Ying's death (Death Camp master), how I wish it was FL who have dealt with her instead of ML. Oh yes, who wouldn't love Aunt An the physician. I feel her. Like, I wouldn't treat a patient too if he's not handsome and tall. Hahaha I so love her character. For Ning Fei, I was hoping for a development of romance between him and Ling Xue Ying but the writer didn't paid much attention.
As always, Empress Zhuang got free from her crimes by suicide. I would like to see her suffer more and pay for her crimes. For the antagonists, like Xiao Wei Ran, Murong Yao and Xia Jing Shi. I was hoping there would be some character development with their characters, but, sadly, the writer opted for them to be villainous till the end. Though, I hate XJS's character but his loyalty for love is commendable. I mean, he pledged that he'll love only FYX in this lifetime and no one else, which he was able to prove by rejecting Feng Xi Yang. Same goes with the nutcase, Emperor Xiang. yes, he's quite a psycho because of his mom, who to be blamed with in the first place. But, I like his wit, when he said to FXY that she should taste her tears because she deserves it after giving up Susha just for her blind love for XJS. It maybe harsh to say but I find it logical. I honestly like his character if it only was given a chance to develop, I believe he could've been a good emperor of Jinxiu, specially after being transformed from his love for FXY. I honestly don't like FXY's character. Her sad fate I guess says it all already.
For the leads chemistry and romance, definitely chemistry is on point. Kisses check, intimacy check....it such that the execution is not as good as how we usually see in short mini dramas. Either the shot was too far or angled and sometimes too short. Oh and not only for the leads, but for FXY and Emepror Xiang's chemistry as well. Oh yeah, I am also hoping for a spinoff for the romance of these two.
So, overall, this was definitely the best historical drama for this year for me except for the finale that I am not totally satisfied with. I said that if this will end as I hope how it should, I would have given it a 9 or better yet 10 rating. But, the finale ruined it for me, so I ended up an 8.5 rating. I'm sure most people are satisfied as ML did follow what his mother wants him to be. Yes, he may have been able to live a peaceful and simple life with FL, but the people of Susha needs him to lead the kingdom. For somebody as capable as himself, he could correct what's wrong in the system of their government. Alongside with him, FL would best qualify to be an Empress and for them together to lead the nation with the help of his sister.
Lastly, I was also hoping for them to have kids in the finale, but, yeah, it was open ended I guess. And the ending, definitely was not a feel good vibe since lots of the vital characters died. Still, this is a good drama not to miss.

In Love With Sis
First, I don't know what's with the title? Like Gemini, which they aren't even twins and bloodly related. As for the storyplot, it really started strong that I got hooked on it. Definitely, there was a great chemistry between the leads, given the right amount of kisses. The thing is, it really failed for me when it turned out that ML fell in love with the soul inside FL's body and not the person who's carrying that face. The writer could've just written it differently. I like the FL Lu Zhao as she is and not as XJY. I really felt sad about LZ's fate. I feel like, her rebirth would have more justice if she was given a chance to relive it and live a happy life herself that she truly deserves. Instead, XJY had this chance and even got the chance to use her body and face. For me, it would have been better if the relationship between ML and XJY just ended their as siblings as they believed in the beginning. and had a fresh new start of romance with LZ instead. It will be a great chance to cultivate their feelings by perhaps ML teach LZ martial arts skills which she dooesn't really have. And ML need not to grow old for FL sake.
Which leads me to another disappointment. Yes, it was a HE for these siblings lovers but what? a guy half of his age old of XJY.
And yeah, I was hoping for more with Situ Xian. Like, I was hoping he would realize he truly fell in love with LZ and regret mistreating her and choosing that villaneous cousin of FL. Lu Zhao's original character doesn't felt justified enough. This is supposedly her story not XJY. In that aspect, this drama failed me.
All actors were great specially FL. I've seen ML in some dramas which usually he is just a supporting role. I guess, I'm still not used to seeing him as ML. Felt kinda bland for me, but he has the potential.
Overall, this is good for a short mini series only if the story came out as I prefer it should. A 7.5 for me.

Defying Royalty
I was adamant to watch this because of the FL. I've seen her in other dramas such as WOL which I placed on hold and never pickup back. Watched it for Xu Kai. And this time watched for Zhang Wan Yi. This is my 3rd historical drama of his. I'm always mesmerized by his charm and enchanted by his voice. I love hearing him speak. It always feel like he's so close whispering to your ear. And so glad, I took the shot to check this out.I got hooked from ep. 1 . One reason I guess, the romance was more fired up here than The Glory, which I tried to watch simultaneously. I dropped The Glory at ep.19 for the lack of romance of that drama. I liked that this drama is quite fast paced. Got a kiss already at ep.9, which is a very rare case for historical dramas. I like Yu Qi's character for being bolder and not reserved. Though the development of romance is quite confusing because of the time sequence I guess. I'm not a fan of reborn characters tbh. So, the flashbacks makes the story quite confusing at times. Like, how she got to be a Saintess at the present times when she was supposedly a Saintess only in her past life.
I really did enjoy the first half of the drama. Specially the story of FL's brother which was so intense, yet, sometimes funny and sweet. While, FL's battered sister was another intense story. The violence made by that cruel husband was really unforgiveable. If it were in the modern times, that's considered a heinous crime either punishable by death or lifetime imprisonment. Well, justice has been served in the drama, thankfully. Despite that power and connections of the perpetrators father was strong. That made again, one of ML's strong points. He's really good in investigating crimes. Oh, and let me not forget the first crime solved which was FL's former fiancé who pushed her in the bridge which led to her almost death and got being reborn. She has a strong will character which is one of her good asset. She knows when to fight for her rights like the way she helped to seek justice both for her brother and the other 2 sisters of hers which has both failed marriages. The thing with her wicked Aunt is another story. Honestly, the aunt's character and the murderer husband of her sister who abducted lots of women are truly existing in our real cruel world. That depiction is so realistic which really happens in our society today. Sadly.
Because of jealousy, greed, lack of proper attention from parents upbringing makes these kind of evil people today. And yes, there are also extremely brat person like Ming Yue in the socitey today. Who'll do everything just to get what they want. Her character is really hateable. She never felt a single remorse in all her wrong doings. But, of course, who else to blame but the wicked Princess Royal, her mother, who share the same attitude as her. And yeah, partly to blame was the Emperor who spoiled his sister and abused their power. Though, I would prefer for Ming Yue to suffer more abit before her firepit death. It feels like FL has suffered more from Princess Royal's torture. The grandmother of FL is another villain for me. She's not a good rolemodel as a parent. Her entire family suffered because of her tbh.
Well, justice has been served for all the villains. But, I felt their deaths didn't justify all their wrong doings. I was hoping they suffer from torture before death to give them the same dose of meds they've done with their crimes. Anyways, I thought am gonna enjoy more the remaining half of the drama, but, not really much for me. Ever since Yu Qin became Yu Jin and was vested as the 7th Prince, everything became a mess. Though, I know the MC was already expecting how things will unfold for them and have designed in advance a counterplan for the troubles that will come their way. The marriage of the MC was sweet on their wedding night but come to think of it, it was the same night that Ming Yue died. Like, not really a good omen for the day of your marriage. Then , the finale....Like, after getting married that's the time MC has to separate and do their royal duties. Not a fan of LDR's honestly. And yes, I'm not happy of them being crowned as the Emperor and Empress. Probably, there are no other best candidate to take the position but them. But, from the start, they have always wished for an ordinary normal life together. I was hoping for them to have kids and live a normal happy family life. Being in the Palace is a start of a not so happy life even if they are together. Just stating facts.
Overall, story was good if only they just followed the current life and not correlate the past of being a Saintess and Yu Jin with another character as well. Romance is good. Kisses were there but not executed well. I've seen fish and angled kisses. I hope ZWY would work on his kisses. Hope he could do steamy kisses later on. And just why they didn't have kids at least in the finale? Still, this is recommendable. Specially for ZWY's fans. He's bolder this time compared to his other dramas.

Eyecandy Healer
After completing, TFF, another drama I watched mainly for the ML. Yes, who would want to miss a ZLH drama. Loved him since Sparkle Love and Love Crossed.Another healing drama they say...I wouldn't count it as one though ML is a doctor himself, so we can't ignore that fact. But, if you say it's about FL's healing, it's a no for me. It should be more of her moving on phase, not actually healing. I just didn't feel like she needs to be healed. Her anxiety attacts I believe is more of simply because she can't express what she wants to say to her ex, once the words were out, wholla! she's now okay. That 7 yr relationship with the ex can't be considered 7yrs. for they don't communicate at all. They don't even see each other for all these years. Lucky, if they have met at least once or twice a year. That's not a relationship girl, that's a fling! It is normal to get insomnia either if you can't reach a person you were so dying to speak to. For me, it's totally an excuse just to see our super eyecandy doctor, Dr. HE. Am sure, if the doctor was the grandpa, she hasn't continued her treatment at all.
So, I technically enjoyed this slow-burn drama until ep.12. I'm so not really into slow-burns. Reaching ep.12 is highly patient enough for me, without skips. Ep.13 was the make or break again for me in this drama. Same experience I had with TFF. The FL failed to convince me of supposedly perceived ideal character. One, a woman shouldn't make lead ons with a guy if you'll only reject him the next day. Yes, never kiss a man that you only want to reject. Whatever reasons you may have, lay the cards outright. Specially, if that guy doesn't deserve to be played on with his feelings. As always, our ML, the ever endearing guy, who would accept anything and would still consistently pursue the woman he loves inspite all the rejection or any obstacle may come in between. Persistently patient guy. A real doctor indeed.
Still tried to hold on, tried my best not to drop the drama. So, the ex came back with a bang. Yet, it took time again for her to say what she wants to say. Like, you've been ghosted girl, now's the time to blurt out all your angst, rants , emotions. That roses slap could've been epic if she didn't ran away and confronted him already on that same spot. Anyways, the ex have an attitude problem, that's a given. But, he has his own struggles too with his dad. I felt he really loved the FL, it such that his ways aren't as gentle as our DR. He. I believe the ex got his attitude from his dad. Still, I love Caesar Wu. He shouldn't be given the ex role.
Moving on, I kinda stopped at ep. 20 after the ex appearance as I'm not seeing the FL genuinely ideal I must say. I know she had already moved on when she continuously see Dr. He. Her confession didn't give me a fluttery feeling. So, I tried to get back ep.21 onwards till the finale. I just skipped most of the parts as the FL just continues to irritate me. I'm sorry, but her flirty eyes signals seduction when she looks at Dr. He, so, I wasn't moved with the kisses which supposedly I'm always looking forward to. But, yeah, ZLH, always nails the kisses very well. If there's one scene I liked, it was only the part when the 2 couples are watching a CDrama in Dr. He's place. The jealousy meter was set so high on that part and that was hilarious. Oh, and btw, I'm not a fan too of LDR's. So, I skipped that part. I mean, if I am so in love with a guy, I wouldn't dare leave him. I'll find my own ways of fulfilling my dream without compromising my relationship.
I was already expecting the wedding, since I've seen lots of stills circulating in every SM platforms. The Vera Wang gown was gorgeous, but, not the bride. hahaha The mother's sickness towards the last few eps of the drama reminded me of the drama The Oath of Love. Almost same story.
Overall, ZLH is truly an Eyecandy Healer you would want to look at everyday. Oh, and I liked the SC. I have to mention that. And DR. He's interns, Lie Jie's squad. They made me laugh lots of times. At least Dr. He got his own healing with his father towards the last episodes of the drama.
This is still not my cup of tea, but, I love ZLH. Honestly, comparing this to TFF, I think I would prefer this drama. Why? Because TFF is your another typical CDrama where they started as Teenage sweethearts. I love watching Cdramas, but, I honestly hate that most of their plots are linked to childhood sweethearts. They always have flashbacks and I hate that. Not everyone has a childhood sweet heart. A childhood playmate perhaps that you never fell in love with. TBT offered at least a different scenario. I really like the idea that you can fall in love randomly with a person you just met. Yes, it can be love at first sight, as long as it is random. Like, no links from the past or what so ever. That person can be your client or simply just a co worker. There's no need to stalk a person whom you've been searching for from your childhood. That's just too pathetic for me. Serendipity I guess. Let destiny takes its course.
I believe recommendation for this drama is not necessary since majority of its viewers love it. I'm simply one of the minority who basically watched this for ZLH and nothing else.

Mulan Fell In Love
Yes, this is nearly Mulan turned into series. Excellent fight scenes. FL nailed the swordsmanship, archery, martial arts...you name it...highly qualified to be a General as the title suggests. Storyplot was good not until the final three episodes which deemed to be unnecessary. I'm not a fan of both leads. Chemistry was there but it felt bland.I am one of the viewers who watch this for the romance. Unfortunately, that point really failed for me. It was a total slow burn.
Like the MC became official with their relationship around ep.28 I think. Given the drama has 36eps. Why not make them an official couple at least halfway of the drama? Another thing are the poorly executed kisses and very minimal I must say.
Also the stir caused by Chu Zao towards the finale is obviously just a filler to extend the drama. MC should have been married earlier, I guess around ep. 32, at least have kids and ended the drama.
The only thing that held me stick to the drama till the end are the scenes between ML and SML. Their battle to win the FL gave at least a hilarious flare to the drama.
I have to commend one actor here whom I think stand out in terms of acting, and that is Bai Shu aka He Ru Fei. The scene in the prison cell showned his acting prowess.
Overall, I enjoy watching Wuxia dramas but the balance between fight scenes and romance should be at equal pace, or else, it'll be a total drag for me. For this drama, it focused on the skills of the FL as a Lady General which I must say was well executed.
Given said that, if you're into lots of fight scenes and royal politics, this drama is for you. I wouldn't recommend this for romance enthusiasts like me. The ending is just so so...not satisfying as well.

My View of the Moon
Story: Story plot is quite all over the place. I really had a hard time correlating one character to another. Lots of drag moments that I had to use my forward button all the time. I was quite looking forward on the romance. I've been a fan of the leads chemistry from Love is Sweet. Unfortunately, I didn't felt the same chemistry that they had back then. The kissing scenes were just okay. Not at their best I should say. I guess, there were some elements missing in the story that I'm looking for that I felt lacking. One is the character development from some of the cast. Like, their characters just died having no remorse or regret. Second, some infusion of humor. This drama could've been better if they have just infused some humor on some scenes. Third, the romance department is definitely lacking. Very minimal epsiodes of having the leads having their sweet moments together. Neither the secondary couple has limited romantic moments as well. Lastly. too many fillers used. Like this could have been better off with 24 eps. The flashbacks have to be played several times for you to be able to follow the messed storyline.Acting/ Cast: Surely, another superb acting by Leo Yunxi. But, I must say this was his least character that I may like. He's way better in Love is Sweet and Princess Silver. As for Bai Lu, I just find her acting just the same in every character she portrays. I was able to watch her already in quite a few of her dramas. I think her forte is really romcoms. For the rest of the cast, awesome acting. Chen Du Ling nailed her bitchy character. And yes, a Xianxia won't be complete without bloodspitting which I think was overly used in this drama.
Music: I didn't caught up much with the sound track as I skip credits both beginning and end. But, one thing's for sure, the opening track is too ordinary that It didn't stick to my mind. When I usually watch a drama that has good music in it, it's either I get to hum or sing along with it.
Rewactch Value: Definitely a no for me. Unless, you're a big fan of the leads, you're free to do so. The story is just not enticing for me to make it watch again.
Overall: I love watching Xianxia dramas with good storyline and romance. But, this ain't it for me. When I first saw this drama, It immediately reminded me of Love Between Fairy and Devil. Almost same concept but the storyline of LBFAD is way better than this one. I can only give this a 7.5. Generous enough for the good acting of the cast, but the storyline for me is just a total mess.

Greek Gods Dates
My first time to watch both leads in a drama. I don't remember LeeHyun Wook's role in She Would NeverKnow. But, I did watch that drama because of Rowoon and loved it.I'm honestly not a fan of revenge plots. Like, the main husband cheated so he only gets what he deserves. I mean you reap what you sow. It clearly shows that the wife still loves her husband afterall. I mean, why bother going thru all those when she can just start a better life with her daughter. Well, I guess to clear out husband's name for them not to be bullied in any way may it be for work or school for their child.
I'll point out first the downside of this drama for me. One, is the FL's fashion sense. Like come on, she looked like a 50 yr old woman where her rival looked around in her mid 30's only. I hope she was dressed with something that she'll look like at least in her late 30's or early 40's perhaps. Given that her ML looked like he was just in his mid 30's. Second, given the title, I was kinda looking forward to more romance and steaminess in this drama, but, that felt lacking. Like, come on, I don't remember if the MC ever kissed in a single ep. Third, the finale. Like, the wedding gown is a failure, even the ceremony itself, like why would the ex march her down to the aisle? I mean, it should have been the son of the groom at least.
As for the good point of this drama, as any typical kdrama plot, the first episode will get you hooked with the substance its giving. I liked Hyun Wook, He looks hot in his role. I kinda hope I'd seen how he kissed. I enjoyed the family date in the yacht. I wwas looking forward to more dates of them. Sadly, the finale felt rushed. And yeah, lots of words have been quite eaten here...like the son telling he doesn't want to have a sibling and FL saying, she won't remarry ever in this life.
Justice was served, another good thing. But, how these dating agencies work in Korea is another level. Like, I never experienced such and being classified with your social status...only in Asian countries I think does this thing work.
Overall, not really satisfying drama for me. But, still a decent watch. Gave it an 8 inspite no skinships by the MC.
