Not really a fan of the story. First time to watch the entire cast in this drama. The leads were able to pull off that chemistry. Kinda slow burn as it was tagged. But, the sweetness caught on when they became an official couple. Leads were good looking. Will look forward to see them in another drama, hopefully with a better story plot.

So true, I liked Cesar's role in The General 's Lady. He's way too romantic there. Same goes with Hongyi, his role in Love Better than Immortality is way much romantic. Still, their charms are so irresistible. 😍

Got interested in this drama because of the 2Ml's and of course, who wouldn't resist the charm of Hongyi, whom i think should've gotten the lead role, still, seeing him in this drama is enough. The story is just okay, am not really into detecftive, mystery type of genre. The romance aspect is absolutely lacking here. I guess the writer was way too conservative that physical display of affection is indeed too scarce in this drama. I've seen other dramas of these 3 men, they were in the zone romantically. Sadly, they weren't able to convey that romantic vibe here. The only remarkable thing here of course, are the martial arts. the swordsmanship were portrayed very well. It's my first time to watch the FL, for some reason, am not interested in her portrayal nor her character in this drama. As I've said the lack of romance didn't gave this drama that vibe to make the Fl's character interesting.

So, i'll just share my thoughts after watching the last 5 ep love for the isodes of this drama. As expected, it all really went wrong after epi. 27. For me, it has already lost its touch. The excitement, the sweetness and I was hoping for more romance for the last 5 epi but the writer wasn't able to give it. The wedding wasn't given much emphasis. It felt everything was rushed up to the finale. It focused more on the war itself rather than the romance aspect of the drama in which the title should convey. The writer tried to pull that happy ending but it didn't gave the great vibe. I guess that character twist of the ML really made him not so likeable. His arrogance led the problem one after another causing deaths of some persons close to him. The FL on the other hand simply showned that her love for the ML obviously is way more empowering than the guy's love for her. It's just too cliche to give up on love so easily just because he can't find his way out to the mess he entered in the first place. And ask your rival to take care of your girl because you don't think you'll be able to fulfill his promise. It's like giving the spotlight to the supporting ML, in which , honestly has a much ideal character than the ML himself. I just feel sad about this drama, as it's my first time to appreciate a Republican drama and still didn't meet up to my expectations. The writer should have done way better if only that twist didn't happen and maintained the ideal sweet, loving ML guy in the begining. Just another thing, i really hated the Tan xuan Lin's sister character here. I just find her really annoying. so self-centered. She portrays same character in the drama Truth or Dare, she also portrays a self-centered character.
Anyways, I guess i'll be sticking more to wuxia and xianxia dramas as the romance there are way better presented eventhough, there are lots of bloodshed. I've always loved office romcoms but there's quite a few these days. the last one I superloved was Once we Get Married. Hope to be able to watch more upcoming good dramas.

I am so into this drama from epi. 1. But for some reason, after Mr. Mu's death, everything got it wrong. Was it around epi 27 when it started? Was so disappointed with the sudden turn around of Commander Tan's behavior just because of his issues with his late father. He might have been seeking justice, still not an appropriate excuse to mistreat someone you dearly love. If you truly love a person, even the truth hurts, it is still best to discuss things with your partner rather than avoiding it. Even things were patched up on epi 32, I didn't felt good about it. I just feel that his true colors were revealed. the selfless person he was before became a selfish man, afterall. As a man, treating Ms. Mu that way was a total foul, specially in the moments that her father has just died, she has no family left, then she has to prepare her wedding on her own, she has to eat dinner alone and she was left in the woods without knowing anything that your supposedly fiance have abandoned you without your knowledge. For me that's unforgiveable. i just don't understand, everything's so easy for the writer that of course, afterall the suffering, the lady is again too forgiving.
I feel sad that this drama lost its touch for me after these scenes. Even if it will have a happy ending, the attitude that Tan Xuan Lin showned still a big foul for me. i admired Xu guang Yao's attitude here. He knows how to admit defeat and he knows when to fight for his love. a true man indeed for a supporting role.

I really enjoyed this drama even its a bit cliche. First, I loved that it's a fast paced drama. Second, the main leads are literally together on the entire drama itself. Third, I liked the idea of switching abilities in the story. Overall, it's a cute, sweet, fluffy drama that you'll simply enjoy.

First time to watch all the cast in this drama. First time to watch a semi-Military genre in Cdrama. I quite enjoyed first half of the drama. The intensity and action was there that I got hooked from Ep. 1. It was good halfway, not until the corporate aspect of the story has to set in. Scenes got draggy that I have to skip most of the scenes of the corporate battles. Yes, the first half made my heart flutter with some of their romantic scenes. I guess I got bored when there's no love competition in their relationship, I mean, no rival or hindrance at all. This drama would have done better if the writer maintained the military aspect of the story rather than shifting it to the corporate world. The ML was way better hot in his military role than being a CEO. FL is okay too. Liked the clothes she worn in the entire drama. Best fit for a designer. Overall, if you're into corporate battles and fashion designing, this drama would be best for you. If not, just like me, it will just be a more skips watching than actually enjoying it.

I am not spreading false rumours as the comments section is used to state your own opinion about the drama, so everyone's welcome to state what they feel about it. For me, it's 32 that they have literally been together as a couple in the drama, when I say literally, means physically together. Good for you that you enjoyed it, sadly it's not for others including me. Everyone has its own cup of tea, you can write your own opinion here separately. Learn to respect others' opinion. Each is to his own.

I really enjoyed this drama. First time to watch all the cast. The leads and supporting couples all look great. I must admit Huang Jun Jie is a charmer. He'll be one I'll look forward to see more in a drama. Everything is great in this drama. Of course, there's still some clichês. Still it gave me a good feel after completing this drama. I must say, their characters here are quite likeable except for the villains. And yes, what I like most here are the leads and secondary couples which are literally inseparable from the time they became couples. A bit fast paced too for the leads which i liked also. the only downside is i find the romance quite a bit lacking. this would have been perfect if the leads have more sweet moments together. Overall, still a drama you shouldn't miss and enjoy. :)

I have watched this drama because of Ye Hui's character. I just hoped he was the lead guy instead. The lead girl's character is so pathetic from the beginning till the end. Still, Ye hui's character stand out the most till the end. One of the worst done drama I guess.

This drama is kinda fast paced. Like everything is laid already from the beginning. Halfway thru, it seems to be a round robin about the amnesia thing. But, it bounced back in the ending. It gave its audience a great ending. The romance element here are absolutely awesome!

This drama made me laugh halfway through. I forwarded most of thepisodes. It just caught my attention about the rival guy Mr. Song. I think he would be much perfect to be the main lead. His story with FL is much interesting. Plus the supporting role casts. The main leads didn't have much romantic interaction. it lacked chemistry as I see it. And the ending didn't gave much appeal since the one who got married are the parents not the main lead sad to say.
