Up to episode 8, not impressed with her sulky, immature tantrums, the spoilt princess act, in this episode. Yes, she's a beautiful, fun, intelligent woman but high, emotional maintenance, wilful, toxic and destructive, when she's not getting her own way. Trashing someone else's home, who's trusting you to come and go as you please, is violating, and, particularly to trash just because they're not answering the phone is wrong, criminal even, or, if it isn't, should be.

Hope she stops behaving like a spoilt, controlling, vindictive brat, matures emotionally from now on.

Sigh! Had Shu He have kept the borders open, maintained diplomatic relations, entertained an emissary or two, like his far from friendly predecessor (dad) had, basically done his duty to people /country rather than indulge in a childish lovers spat, life would be much more rosier for everyone.

I'm putting more of the blame on Shuhe, at least for the death and devastation wrought on the two Empires. All he had to do, for the good of his people/empire/everyone, if nothing else, was to maintain cordial/diplomatic relations between the two, be mates, meetup. The nobility, well mainly women, in Chinese period dramas, almost always have to fulfill that role, even if they don't want to. It should be his duty to think of his country/people and submit. THEN Peace would have ensued.

That is horrendous. Disgusting people who behave like that on planes need to be prosecuted, is it a prisonable offense to behave like a terrorist on a plane? - that is so scary and so dangerous, for everyone on the plane but especially the poor staff, and the actor himself.

I hope we hear what happens to them, they need to be punished, it needs to be publicised, to discourage that kind of dangerous behaviour in future. That the lives/security of those actors are threatened in this and, increasingly, other ways. Parasocial relationships really need to be looked at, toxic aspects and behaviour as demonstrated here illustrate how dangerous they can be.

Sundays will never be the same. Sigh, sob! Very pleased to hear that there is a special episode. On my wish list is of course, the chemistry, the stubborn banter, the funny, the usual NC content, maaaybe tone down a teeny tiny bit the aggro and controlling, but, in addition, more of sensual, affectionate, tender Sorn and playful, assertive Jun. That is all. TIA.

Same. Ordinarily, I'm not all that into serial pairings but this one - Sorn/Boat, Jun/Oat, has left me wanting to see them paired up again in a My Stubborn 2 and, well, anything else, really. Both were excellent in their very challenging roles . They were totally committed, had the best chemistry AND, on a re-watch, were really really funny. Both have natural comic timing.

It was a blast, I shall miss them. Good luck to the pair of them, together and individually,

I think you might be right, not miserable (sorry Jun!), rather not used to this Sorn, taken aback, shy and, as Kinvara said somewhere above, coy. That people know and are teasing him, probably contributes, to that, too.

Was soo disappointed with this episode, could've, should've been so much better. Choppy, all over the shop, didn't flow at all. Unnecessary characters peopling boring filler - just fill it with longer sessions of Sorn/Jun if you're stuck. Speaking of them, what's with mardy, miserable Jun? Ok, so Sorn has only taken a couple of baby steps but still, he's making an enormous effort, for him. Jun seemed happier with old Sorn than he does now. Sort it, please. I want a Sorn/Jun, all smiles and enthusiasm, in their full on, glory -filled Haopy Ending for now/till the Stubborn-filled sequel, please.

The people "lining up to take his spot .." was if he put his profile up on grindr, etc.. so the population was 'limited', but yes, Sorn would definitely be popular on those apps, and in the wider community. how long those hook ups/ relationships would last, is another matter, I've known plenty of women get involved with handsome, sexy guys who are known bad boys. I'd imagine that's the same for guys, too.

With regard to Jun/Sorn, well, as we all know, happy endings are very much desired and likely here, BUT they're never the end, Just a happy point in time, everyone goes to bed, gets up the next day and life continues, up and down.

IF Sorn/Jun don't stay together in the longterm/forever, so what, there time together will be an amazing memory for them. Hope everyone has fond memories of life, love, relationships (even the ones that don't work out) in their twenties.

I don’t know what you were doing at that age, but I was hitch-hiking around Europe for 6 months, camping, up for adventure, not thinking at all long term. I, a female, was travelling with a guy who was a platonic mate, no, I didn’t hook up with anyone, I’ve always been picky, but who’s to say I wouldn’t have, HAD someone like Boat appeared in my life at that time,. ANYONE would definitely have looked and, if he’d have shown any interest, possibly explored further and discovered you had hot chemistry together. Would it have been messy, reckless, tempestuous and, ultimately, short-lived, likely? How people would look back on it interests me, whether it would be with regret or see it as one of life's memorable encounters. I'd be in the latter group.

Sorn’s red flags? Yes, of course I have issues with them. From their first sexual encounter at the Koi Pond. I associate Koi with Japan’s ‘Children’s Day’ and, that a 23 year year old had invited/pressured a 17/18 year old friend/relative of a best friend for a mutual wanking session, is just wrong. Though I guess (casual) sexual activity between those ages isn't all that uncommon. Did it stop me, or most people posting here, from watching further, AND enjoying their messy journey/further sexual escapades, no. There's a reason why Sorn and Jun haven't told Tai and the rest when and how they first 'got together'.

The initially reluctant/forced kissing+, sexual harrassment, particularly at work, of course it’s wrong, BUT this is a common trope in BL, they just took it further, exaggerated it, for all kinds of effect - dramatic, comic, show the chemistry, the viewer’s prurient interest.. It worked.

The gaslighting - Sorn telling Jun he was sh*t at kissing/sex, f**k no, definitely would’ve deleted that controlling/undermining Jun's confidence part of the plot but, I didn’t write it.

The extreme jealousy and violence, no, but again, common in drama/BL, exaggerated here. Get rid from the sequel, please.

Another (amongst many others - eg the 'wife' thing )aspect of Sorn’s personality that I found un-appealing is the clingy-ness, insecurity, in denial and inability to admit, communicate his true feelings. I, a strong, confident, independent STUBBORN woman, would have dealt with, talked through, put a stop to that and the other sh*te, or moved on. Jun a strong, stubborn guy will hopefully end up in the type of relationship he's happy with with Sorn. They always had the option - have Jun move on to a greener person. They haven't/won't, though.

I'd like an epilogue, at least - with an imperfect, equally as stubborn Sorn and Jun showing how their relationship is/isn't evolving.

This is an imperfect show, with imperfect characters BUT, it's very popular and the Jun/Sorn part of it is the outstanding highlight. They work well together and, if the company theyre' with decides to put them in any other bl, irrespective where it falls on the Red/green flag line, I'll check it out

Yes, I like that he's still very recognisably Sorn, so glad they kept that, weren't persuaded to turn him into Mr Perfect, someone he isn't and never will be.

Also think Jun has a strong personality, is equally as stubborn in his different but own way and that, now he knows Sorn loves him. has done since forever, he'll be more confident, put his foot down, assert himself more.

I'd like a sequel, please. Just to see how the 'Stubborns's' are getting on in their imperfect, messy relationship.

Frankly, Sorn, offering amazing Sex/FWB - food, accommodation, sex education, etc., on top, is a dream match up. Jun should just go with it, for, well, way way longer. Ok, so Sorn comes with Red Flags too - jealous, over-controlling, wants sex all the time, wants kisses, wants exclusivity, etc., but, you know what, Great sex with a beautiful, adoring partner isn't all that common. IF, in the real world not 'Romantic BL world', Sorn were to post his profile/photos, offer up on Grindr/Scruff/Tinder what he's currently giving Jun, men/women/everyone pretty much would line up/beg to be Jun's replacement AND take the bad with the very very good.

Yes, agree with they haven't written a personality transformation for Sorn and Jun, they both remain stubborn in their familiar ways. At least Sorn is no longer in denial, they know now they love each other and have done far longer than either of them realised/admitted. And they're communicating, which always helps. AND Sorn is trying, bless!

The dynamics have changed. As you said, Jun always had more power than he realised and his confidence is growing, he's becoming more aware of what he wants, doesn't want, boundaries and articulating that. Sorn has a bit of relationship growing up to do, but baby steps. I'm team Jun/Sorn. Fighting! Well, not literally, curb some of that aggression and controlling, keep the chemistry, love, passion and some of the bickering stubborness.

It's because Sorn and Jun are just so much better at making it look not fake. I feel sorry for the other couples in this, they have to know that almost everyone is fast forwarding through their nc's.

To be fair, I don't mind touching, sleeping beauty kiss soo much if they're already at the intimacy stage, it's when they do it before that really bothers me, so, anytime after the koi pond scene is ok'ish with me.

Any of those places work for me, actually, I don't care where, so long as it isn't in the public toilet, like the kissing without tongues was, this week. Ew! Ok, I get that sometimes it's the immediate go to for the basic stuff, but romantic 1st kiss after making up, nah! That along with intimately touching/kissing people when they're asleep - the sleeping beauty kiss thing, I guess, are two of my big hates. I don't think that one happened in My Stubbon, amazingly, though it might well have, just missed it amongst all the other messy stuff.

Anyway, I'm going for home, bed. Boring vanilla I know but...
