So... In order to avoid today's craziness I meticulously scheduled my week so that today would be my monthly grocery day... which means running around the whole day to do my groceries since I live in a busy city with lots of small shops and have no car.
Just came back, the preview's up.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D
No stress, just complete bliss. I can patiently wait for viki release and have a very peaceful week this time :D
Guys look what I found. It’s a spoiler for ep 10. We can relax now🥹https://x.com/phoebebuffay06/status/1787488932961165494?s=46
Guessed he wasn't leaving... It was pretty obvious once they introduced the singing contest. I was thinking maybe In Hyuk is going to stop Seon Jae from leaving at the airport so that he can at least take part in the singing contest... but if he comes back for Im Sol... even better.
There wasn't lots of SeonSol moment in this episode so I'm hoping we get a bit more tomorrow and a LOT next week.
I for one, is not sad that there's only 3 weeks left. I'm really really tired not being able to focus on my Mondays and Tuesdays and finding each week excruciatingly long. All that wait and lurking there is tiring myself out... and my work ( I'm working at home) is suffering from it. It's really unhealthy. It's been a while I haven't regretted starting a show as it aired that much.
The faster this show finishes, the faster I can re-watch it all over again without any stress and in a more healthy manner.
My God I'm really confused about this preview... Seems Tae Sung also knows about what is going to happen to Seon Jae, he tells him that instead of worrying about him and Sol's relationship, he should take care of himself. Seon Jae knows that Sol comes from the future... WTF? And he asks Sol if all the times she came back to save him, she never ever had any feeling for him... To which she answers " No" ( YOU'RE BREAKING HIS AND MY HEART!!!!)
Anyway in order to reassure her, he says he's going to leave. Does it mean he's never going to become a singer?
Ok Couldn't resist so I watched two extracts available on youtube for ep 8:
1. First One: Im Sol going back to the past, waking up on top of the statue, falling off it and being caught by Seon Jae. The only thing we hadn't seen is Sol being so flustered, she runs away without even thanking him.
2. Second extract is more interesting. I'm still learning korean so I haven't understood everything but Seon Jae and In Hyuk are talking. SJ is wondering why Sol dashed out as if she had seen a ghost. He explains to In Hyuk that if before she strongly avoided him but that this time she just quickly ran away ( I really don't see the nuance but whatever). SJ explains that he knows something was different because he felt that the feeling was different or something... She saw her face a bit from behind and he could swear she was blushing a bit.
In Hyuk, best friend ever answers that if she was strongly avoided him, it means she didn't like him... But if she quickly made an escape ... SJ suggests she's having a change of heart... but In Hyunk finishes his sentence by saying it means she really REALLY hates him.
SJ goes to sleep on the sofa... and In Hyuk adds that if it was him he would do the same. She had no feelings for him before and she still has the bad luck of being in the same university... Of course she would run away. In Hyuk asks him if he has no pride/self-esteem.
Seon Jae answers he doesn't ( at least he's being honest, but that what I like about him).
Than In Hyuk finds the lyrics of a song Seon Jae has written. At first he's happy, then he reads the title - "Shower" and guesses he wrote the song thinking of Sol. Of course SJ denies it and says he wrote the song as he was watching the rain.
In Hyuk doesn't buy it obviously. IH tells him that if he keeps seeing Sol at school, he'll never be able to resolve his feelings. If she's far from his eyes, she'll be far from his heart as well ( there's an expression in english for that but I forgot. English is my second language) in french the perfect equivalent would be "Loin des yeux, loin du coeur" which can be translated as "Far from the eyes, far from the heart".
Instead he should join his band instead of another dude ( not Tae Sung).
The scene ends there when SJ is getting out to avoid IH's nagging as he still insists he should resolve his feelings.
IH is such a good friend.
Dunno if I'll translate other parts... Took me a bit too much time. Gotta go back to work... But since lots of us have to wait for the official release on Viki, I hope it helps some of you to... bear the wait.
See this statement from the production team. Ryu Sun-jae is officially "Solchinja" - He is Solsexual, dude! He…
I wasn't mentioning Sol going back but Seon Jae... As for the webtoon... I haven't read it and have avoided spoilers regarding it so far... Wish I hadn't read your following comment... But what's done is done...

Not sure it's gonna be the last time slip. Last time slip for Sol but not necessarily the last one in the story. My theory is that Sol is going to save Seon Jae this time but she's the one who is going to die...
And Seon Jae will go back to the past using the watch we saw Sol gift him.
I'm all for the romance... but I do want to know if my guess is right :D hopefully tomorrow evening... after LOTS of sweetness from these two.
Nosy K-netizens really should learn a lesson on patience. Can't believe we nearly missed out on this gem of a…
Beg to differ there. Lee Bo Young was already a household name by then. She had just finished the very successful weekender "My Daughter Seo Young" and many of the dramas she acted in before had amazing ratings.
Lee Jong Suk had acted in High Kick followed by School 2013. School 2013 which relaunched the franchise at the time. He was already big. In fact in his generation back then, he actually was one of the ones who became pretty successful quickly.
I watched I can hear your voice while reading recaps on Dramabeans at the time, and I don't remember them adding extra episodes. Series longer than 16 episodes were not as uncommon back then.

Interesting... you might be right... But in my memory she informed Tae Sun about the fire when the fire had already started happenning。 Yes, It wasn't yet a full blown fire but it was already occurring. For her accident... She only mentioned that something could happen in that place on that day... But she didn't specifically say which event it was.
For me, it's more a matter of she can't say exactly what is going to happen but she does have the right to throw some hints.
There was. I think it got uploaded on Friday if I'm not mistaken... It's available on TVN's instagram or X Thread...
If you need the direct links, it's been posted.... but the comment section is moving so fast... I'm too lazy to look it up... Gotta go back to comments from two days ago...
im watching ep 8 now, the drama is not that good, i don't get the hype (i know ill receive hate of this but im…
Feel for your comment. Got insulted by some idiots on another drama thread because I didn't get the love even though I tried to explain my opinion as politely as possible... When I answered that I wasn't going to get into petty arguments over a drama and that this was my last answer, I got comments of me "acting all high and mighty" and "immature" and other BS. I just could guess how old these commenters were.
Anyway my opinion. Any popular drama is bound to have some people who just can't like it as much as others... I have a full list of those on my own Watched List and nonexisting dropped list ( I don't have any dropped list because when shows are popular and I drop them, I tend to be tempted to give them another go... one such example was Boys Over Flowers... Tried 10 freaking time, still thought that show was terrible... But imagine... I never dropped it before episode 6 for each try and the last try I dropped it at episode 12).
If it's not for you... I don't think you should keep on watching it. Even if you stopped working, studying, eating or whatever and spent your whole life watching dramas, you'll never manage to watch every single drama you would like or love. No need to bother with those you don't like.
Just came back, the preview's up.

TOO. MANY. QUESTIONS!

It's extremely short though.
