He set up the pills. Times have changed but he's still capable of murder. I do think he's more of a stalker in…
I mean I'm not saying he's not evil in the Present timeline BUT, his power of nuisance is limited. Back then he was the King, he could literally manipulate everyone to do his bidding. In the present though, there's something called prison, so that does limit whatever he can do.
He tried to kill the nurse- heβs just as evil in this timeline.
Yeah BUT he hasn't threatened to kill Se Gye (yet) so... I'm sorry about the nurse... But I know nothing of her as a person, so I'm not emotionally hurt... Although it's not good to kill people.
I saw the clip and he gets the memories of the past. Looked so sad
Hmm... Not really. I'm currently watching the episode, I haven't gotten to the end yet BUT, my assumption is that the Consort/Concubine status was just the official front. My take is she did take that role officially in order to protect the Grand Prince for whatever reason or pretend to betray him for whatever reason. Once the King saw she was no longer of any use, he got rid of her.
I believe the Grand Prince ended up knowing what truly happened i.e she never truly betrayed him to save her own skin and hence missed her dearly once she officially passed.
Anyway, that's what I think. We'll see if the drama goes the same route.
I saw the clip and he gets the memories of the past. Looked so sad
Yeah that's what I said. In the past she is officially dead so the painted by the Grand Prince aka Past Cha Se Gye as he is missing her... because she probably died to protect him... But she's met the nex Cha Se Gye and fell in love with him all over again... So if she comes back to the past, I guess it's a HE for the Grand Prince but not the current Cha Se Gye... Unless he falls in love with the real Seo Ri... Wherever she is... Anyway, I don't want to give myself a headache. I'm jus gonna trust they're gonna give us a satisfying ending.
I saw the clip and he gets the memories of the past. Looked so sad
Yeah... Seems like she actually died to protect him but his past self ended up missing her... His past self doesn't know she's in the present with his reincarnated self...
My God this is really confusing and sad... They're literally in a love triangle... A very confusing one at that.
I knew it! I knew the last scene in yesterday's preview was bound to be the last scene in today's episode because writers are sadistic people. I KNEW IT!
They better give us a preview for next week or I'm gonna... I don't know what, but I'm gonna do something! π‘

Well
I don't mind you disagreeing but in that case make sure to separate the quotation properly. I had to reread your comment twice to know where my comment was because yes... Sorry to say, as you can see, this comment has been written a year ago, and sadly, my brain can't remember every comment I wrote in a year.
As for the rest, it's your opinion. I don't see the point of arguing with you on that point. I've seen my fair share of C dramas so I'm familiar with the lack of "eating each other's faces". In fact people were all raving about "When Destiny Brings the Demon" which features plenty of it.
I personally thought both these characters had no chemistry whatsoever either which just goes to show, this debate is useless. Lately people were commenting about IU and Byun Woo Seok not having any chemistry with each other while others were raving about it. Another example of why your comment had no point whatsoever.
What worked for you just didn't work for me. Good for you but why do you post this? Will it change my mind? Also there's a difference between getting along and having romantic chemistry just sayin'
I really wondered if I should bother answering because I hate these fake accounts people use to send provocative comments they know will rile up some people. Well I guess, I had some time to waste this morning. The joke' s on me.
I forgive you show for breaking my heart for 15 minutes. I FORGIVE YOU. But please be kind and instead of always breaking Cha Se Gye's heart, let's go for Seo Ri's next time.
I love them both, but I can't handle another of Heo Nam Jun's sad puppy face .
Also, stop with the dramatic previews, life sucks enough already, I don't need the extra stress, thank you.ππ½
Ikr... sometimes I see these EP counts and I want to die a little.
I've gotten all the episodes ( which I've yet to watch because err 34 epπ) but I've checked and you can breathe, it's not your typical 1h to 1h30 episode's lakorn. It's on the short side with 40/41 minutes on average which is less frightnening.
I'm not sure if I would have given it a try if these episodes were longer given I think most lakorns are overly long for no good reasons ( and i'm used to C dramas and have watched my fair share of 50 episodes K dramas so I'm used to things being too long) .
It does however have one of the thing that I personally HATE in lots of these series which is... poor sound quality, isolation nightmare. The sound of the voices feels like it's been filmed in the 80s. I don't know WHY ThaΓ―land keeps on producing series which such poor sound quality... Or rather, it seems to be a specialty of channel 7 and channel 3. One 31 also sucks in that area though sometimes the sound is good.
Only GMMTV is being consistent with having clear clean sounds... too bad they mostly stick to BLs with lower than mediocre storylines.
The way the script is written... All these characters are always repeating the same thing twice or three times in different ways in the same sentence.
I get that that they're trying to stress whatever point they're making... But after 25 episodes of endless repetitions, it's starting to make me lose my marbles.

I would have said it's a coincidence if there was not the little ' at on the first horizontal line. This soldier seems a bit misplaced... His position just doesn't match with the rest. My take is it's definitely on purpose...
My god some viewers really love to analyse things. I hadn't noticed at all!
I suggest that everyone re-watch the intro. Many, many times - frame by frame. It's all there, beginning with…
Well that's interesting... because that's not what I saw πππ Well I'm fine with both theories but I do think they both stand especially due to the whole mask thing.
Because while the reincarnation thing works in some way, it doesn't explain why Da Shim is capable of recognizing the King but not the Grand Prince π
Also the opening could just refer to the swap we had at the beginning of the story... A "forced swap"... doesn't say there wasn't a swap before. As mentioned above by others, the grandma does mention that it's not the first time that Seo Ri is acting weird... In fact, Seo Ri's acting rival did mention that something happened in the past and she completely tanked her career at some point because she couldn't act, which again refers to a potential swap that already happened before.
I still think the body swap makes more sense than the reincarnation theory. But again, I'm open to be proved otherwise in weeks to come. They better come up with a good explanation for the 180 in personality and the "not recognizing" a guy due to a mask that barely hides his face.

Oh well! Rewatching it, that does validate my theory isn't it? Except the swap only happens when there's this eclipse thing happening... HOWEVER I think in the first or second episode, they mentioned that it's a phenomenon that only happens every hundred years or so...( or maybe it's me who's wrong?) Anyway, if so, the swap should only have happened once... but here it happened twice so...
Anyway the opening confirms it. Thanks for the head-up!
Mun Do appears pretty nice in comparison. ( Of course I know we've got 6 episodes left πππ so we've yet to see the worse of him but still.)
Tae Hee is just annoying as fudge but since she's getting nowhere so far, she's just mildly annoying. Hope it stays like this.

Haven't done that since Lovely Runner... No patience whatsoever.
