Naaaah the chemistry between Sasin & Saen is just 😘😘😘. Like these two could just stare at each other…
Still haven't watched that one... Maybe I'll start this BL next once I've emptied my Watching List a bit. Everybody keeps mentioning it here and it's fully available on Viki so...
Sasin & Saenkaew are ignoring Pin like she doesn't even exist 😂😂 , this is too embarrassing. Do it again.
HAHA. I didn't watch the entire episode just snippets but based on the short scenes on Youtube... This episode... is THE BEST so far :D Also, regarding your spoiler comment below... Sadly yes... Given the few scenes I roughly understood... this doesn't look good, but again... I was expecting it given these authors so I'm not surprised.
Omg. This scene made my heart flutter. Ahh. I have to wait more than an hour. I'm kinda regretting watching this…
Actually nor the hellish alphabet (more than 50 letters... typing the language on my keyboard is a nightmare truly) nor the tones are really the issue. It does take time to learn... But that's not the most difficult part as far as I'm concerned... Except maybe reading... All words are stuck together so it does require a little bit of getting used to, but that's something you can find in Japanese or Chinese and probably lots of other languages as well..
The main difficulty is more the grammar part... Thai uses lots of little words that are not translatable in English... They also tend to "cut actions" in several tidbits... I didn't find a single site that explained ( for free of course) how this works...
For instance if I say: "I brought this object from the attic" in Thai... I'd have to say literally "I took this object out from the attic, kept it and gave it.
Because when you "bring something"... You take it. Extract it from where it is. Keep it with you during the trip, than give it to whoever.
All of that is expressed through little words and that flows naturally in Thai but as a non-native, this can be very challenging. Also a word can be a verb, a name, an adjective even at times an auxilliary... Only context and word placement can tell you which of this function the word has.
So yeah... But again... any language is hard when you start... the issue is not the difficulties but rather the sources available...
And I missed the end of the episode typing this 😫 Hope they uploaded the preview.

I personally love Asian languages as a whole so Thai is one of the many languages I'm currently learning... I started it almost 4 years ago...But honestly it's not easy... Not that the language is particularly difficult... But if you're like me and are self-taught... and don't want to pay for extremely expensive courses online, the amount of good resources available for free is fairly limited unlike say... any European languages or Japanese, Korean or Chinese. It can be very discouraging especially when you start.
This being said, if you persevere, it's not impossible :D Rooting for you if you ever decide to embark on that journey :D
So err...Little spoiler here with my poor Thai level...
Pin doesn't care that Saenkaew doesn't like her and she's tired of Sasin's "feud" with her fiancé?
Why do you ask?
Well, she said she's confident that she'll manage to make Saen like her at some point so it doesn't matter even if Saen doesn't love her when they get married...
Well if that doesn't scream "this is gonna turn ugly" I don't know what will.
Omg. This scene made my heart flutter. Ahh. I have to wait more than an hour. I'm kinda regretting watching this…
Thanks! I will be strong!
(Truth is I've opened a separate tab for the episode which is currently live on Youtube and turned off the sound... and now occasionally clicks on the tab just to roughly check what's happening. Not the best compromise... sure... But that's the best I can do given how obsessed I am 😭

😎😎😎 Yeah I know, I'm a nasty troll. I'm even trolling myself 😆😆😆
Sasin is truly venting his own frustration on the wrong person. I hope he does a bit of groveling once he admits his feelings... or at least turn into "over-protective" mode because this poor rabbit deserves a bit of warmth and affection instead of shouldering everybody's problems on his own shoulders. I really feel for him. He's trying his best to find a satisfying solution for everyone involved but everybody is bent on him marrying a poor girl he doesn't love.
I hope they made a misleading preview and put the end of the episode at the beginning of the preview and vice versa. Hopefully this episode will be the last time Sasin shows his "I'm pretending to care for my cousin but the truth is I'm jealous of her and I can't say it and it's your fault for giving me hope with the way you're looking at me with your doe eyes, because otherwise I wouldn't have fallen for you... and I know I'm lying to myself but it's your fault anyway just BECAUSE" side and only shows his sweet side to Mr rabbit starting from next episode.
Crossing my fingers... OK. Now I need to focus... I'm supposed to work >_<... The difficulties of being freelance... On such days, maintaining one's discipline at home is HELL.
It’s finally Monday 💃🏽💃🏽, who’s ready for today’s episode?And how many episodes do y’all think…
I think at the end of episode 6: 'cuz that would be a very cruel cliffhanger and we all know how these BLs are such a tease... So either the end of episode 6 OR they hint at it at the end of episode 6... and we'll have to wait until the beginning of episode 7 - so NEXT WEEK - to get it.
It's not gonna be all angst... Easy prediction, I think one of the scene in the trailer is gonna be in today's episode 😎 If you watched this scene, you know the one I'm talking about 🙄😆
All the shows - minus two - I'm currently watching are just insanely good... But even then, I'm still obsessed with this one. I don't know, this couple just grabbed my heart from the very first moment they met and didn't let go. It was a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong week BUT FINALLY some relief today.
Lol... Well haven't watched it... just checked the ending.
Glad I did. I'm not really sure how I'll feel about the drama because so far most 2025 K drama turned out to be disappointments to me... So I'd rather be cautious... BUT now I mentally prepared for the WTF Chinese ending so at least I'm not gonna downrate this show only because the writers just couldn't come up with a satisfying explanation for their HE. I honestly don't get it. TvN has gotten used to make overly long-ass episodes why didn't they bother to add 20 extra minutes to give a proper explanation to this whathefuckery? But whatever I guess.
If I like the show, I'm gonna be team " Don't give a fudge, I got my Happy Ending"... But if I end up disliking it, this ending will just be added to the long list of " things I didn't like but this show is so shitty anyway that it doesn't really matter."
Finally started this one. I'm trying my best to space my Cheng Lei dramas as much as possible because there's no announcement date for his next dramas... esp. Mo Li which I'm most excited about.
Anyway, I wish we could have had Cheng Lei's dubbing, because his voice is slightly deeper than the one who dubs him here... But apart from that I'm hooked ^^
I'm loving the leads chemistry and the Romance which is a bit more fast paced than most C dramas I've seen so far. I think it was the right choice not to watch Shadow Love immediately after the Legend of the Female General aired because each show has its own charm but I would have kept on comparing.
I like cute Jin An... But I've got to admit, my favorite Cheng Lei (so far) is still the one in My Journey to You. He does "dark and brooding" to perfection and he's got the looks for it.
Well puppy Cheng Lei is still charming though.
But back to the main topic i.e the drama ( and not my Cheng Lei fangirling), I like that so far the emphasis is really on the main couple and not on the whole political aspect. That's one issue I have with these C dramas. I like their complexity plotwise but sometimes the political shenanigans take too much screentime esp. since it's really not the reason I tune in most of the time.
So far (ep 5) , the story focuses on the interactions between our leads and I'm in love. Hope this momentum is kept throughout the show.
Should I watch this now? What do you suggest? Is it good to watch weekly or just binge-watch after it's completed?
Personally I wanted to wait but I couldn't resist and kept on watching short scenes online... So I gave up and started it...
I would recommend to binge watch though, because it's really addictive and you've got to be a bit patient for the subs... This being said as LueurArcane wrote... Since it's 2 episodes a week, you don't have to wait that long so if you watch it, as long as you're watching something else, the wait is bearable.
I need the subs RIGHT NOW!
