Yeah Sima Jiao really is the best.. His liking for her has nothing to do with her abilities or beauty or anything.. She just needs to be the regular her and that's it.

But one thing I don't understand why Arthur Chen gets so much hate every time there is a promising project.. I mean looking at c entertainment industry almost at least half of them are from rich and influential families and many 2nd or 3rd gen entertainment industry tycoon families.. like many have parents as actors, directors, producers and owns ent companies, news and media etc.. So why he gets so much haters.. of course others also get some controversy on the eve of release but he gets too much compared to others..

Guys, there has been a few arguments in the weibo about Xianyu release. Some are saying Xianyu will be pushed out of the summer schedule.. some are defending that it would be released on 14th. You know, there is another thing which is quite interesting in the novel.. and one of the main reasons for me liking this novel is that despite Sima Jiao's backstory he didn't become an yandere with extreme possessiveness. His love for her is actually quite healthy. In the scene when he passes the fengshan spiritual fire to her at the end of second arc he says "I only love you" which doesn't feel like an romantic love declaration but something more deeper like you are the only one I have or the only bond I have left in this world so if not you so who should I give it to.

Generally, according to how novels go, normally this kind of feeling for MLs of other stories with "tragic loner background being surrounded by enemies and FL being the only sunshine" MLs feel overly jealous even of their female friends and sometimes goes on yandere mode to restrict their choice and freedom and also shows complex dark feelings like "she can get along with / is fine interacting with everyone but I only need her..blah blah blah" . Honestly speaking these things are far from being anything close to romance.

But here our ML Sima Jiao is such a conceited confident man that while passing the spiritual fire when LYT said that if he is gone, then she will forget him and find someone new. Sima Jiao said in a proud badass tone that "you will never be able to forget me".

Also, when they reunited in the 2nd arc and found that LYT forgot him, he never tried to forecfully recover her memory or put pressure on her because he was damn confident that even without memory she will still be in love with him. This is how manliness and confidence should be showed in MLs rather than "restricting the FL and manipulating her with MLs superior power position and wealth that flaunts how amazing a man he is and the FL is a great herione to be able to move the heart of this kind man".

Another thing is that he never minded her interacting with other people and having normal social interactions like her friend Hong Luo and people of the farming sect and her pervious master and senior brothers. He even made arrangements to make sure after he is gone, she is surrounded in a safe and happy environment with people she can get along with. So, totally avoiding the "cringy jealousy towards female friends and restricting her choice and freedom". What a healthy mindset Sima Jiao has toward relationship despite being a morally grey person. This contrast makes it even better. This novel really made me feel the saying that "loving someone is like growing a flower". How much they cherish each other is reflected not in some gorgeous passionate heart stopping tense scenes but in the subtle details of their daily life.

Dear, you just spoke my mind. For me too, the first gencheng immortal mansion arc is the best one. And the way their natural relationship develop like an old married couple and all their dynamics feel like a simple and plain daily life flow but extremely precious and touching....Everytime, the little deer in LYT's heart starts to jump but then becomes normal bcz Sima Jiao acts like this is how it should be which feels so like "we are already together, whats the fuss about" damn sweet with a hint of pride from Sima Jiao... I don't know how to explain it..Anyway, every time I read the first arc, my heart feels bubbled up with so many emotions that I lose sleep...

I hope they kept the fist arc intact even the fillers because all the scenes show how their relationship develops in subtle ways and the beckground fillers' scenes actually shows us why and how they can be together, how much their encounter actually mean to each other every small detail shows us things such as how Sima Jiao became who he is today, how the FL and ML became closer bit by bit and how their relationship dynamic was formed. Its different from other novels because both the FL and ML aren't shown as straightforward passionate or burning romance; its more about subtle details. Its so precious.

I read moonlit reunion novel too..as replied by D aka diyu, that novel falls a bit flat in terms of plot.. the romance and interaction between FL and ML is good but the plot is not strong enough like no end goal or something. And the genre is totally different so yeah this novel doesn't have much similarity with Xianyu. This novel was written one year before Xianyu..so the author's writing skills also made progress. But it is also a very good novel at least no annoying minefields for me.

Actually, it doesn't matter if it clashes with serious dramas because its quite relaxing and healing and the plot is very unique.. as long as a viewer watches one chapter content they should be hooked.. There are no drama similar to this on the market. Even the author's other novel drama moonlit reunion is another genre.

I am actually happy as long as it is released.

Since, Release date has been almost decided. Now I am worried if it was well made..I hope the contents were kept as close to the novel as possible and hope the episodes cut from 38 to 33 didn't affect the plot much. And most of all the relationship dynamic in this novel is very different from other novels hope they didn't add some extra cringy or weird angst or unnecessary things.

Of course HE. Not sad.. there is angst vibe but not serious. Its a kind of relaxing xiania mainly focusing on warm daily life in each arc with side plot being serious. Anyways its an unique xiania story.

Its the best Xiania Romance I have ever read. I haven't gotten over this novel since I read it last year. You must read this novel, otherwise you will miss out a lot. There is also a manhwa for this.
