Because Wuji and ZBY are top fighters... They have way higher skills than her... and are popular for their skills. But…
Hi, I just want to ask about Fuyao learning the Ninth Heaven Breach (invincible lost skill), she used it within the first arc but I have no idea if she used it later on as where we are now nearing ep 40. Is it often mentioned or used in the novel?
I know that part of the drama, learning it was to activate the 5 tier spell but is that all the use it has?
THIS IS WHY I LOVE THE INTERNET: You can rant about things you can't tell nobody face to face. So... I went on…
Omg, I think I encountered similar situations. Some of my friends have always wondered what I've watching and I am quest honest with my asian dramas but when it comes to Chinese dramas it gets to the top of their head to tell me that I've been brainwashed by the chinese and should enjoy western shows. I've never been so offended within my drama watching world, like why don't they have a thought if they have been whitewashed whatsoever.
At least I show some respect when people discuss about english series and movies but the moment they detect something asian they just automatically judge us.
you can try and submit a request to viki or dramafever to see if they would pick it up.
not gonna lie but sometimes they pick up the worst chinese dramas to sub ever when there are better options or is it cause that certain drama outvoted others
It’s because a streaming service in VN (their version of Viki or DramaFever) bought the exclusive rights to…
Bro I was excited cuz the dubs are very fast where you can watch 4 episodes ahead and we have to follow the eng subs at a slow rate again.
No offense but long tieng nowadays are so bad compared to 10-15 years ago idk what happened that's why I'm relying on thuyet minh at least it sounds much better.
I'm actually not happy they cut out Zong Yue as her love interest... He loves her in the novel but not in the…
I'm not sure what kind of power you are referring to as he is too OP and keeps saving her every time or he seems to control her in whatever way he wants.
Well not much time has passed with the current development, you can't expect Fuyao to KO everyone, she has learnt a powerful martial arts but she is not accustomed to the outside world so you could say she is somewhat stupid with her actions. I think they might let her build on some fighting experiences with mind games, martial art encounters and such.
I’ve got a question for those viewers who don’t need subs - what’s the deal with the girl with all the feathers…
[Episode 5] On one scene between Mengfei and the King they talked about how two years ago when the King first saw her, she carried buckets of water without spilling a drop so he had a thought that she is of great use. So he summoned her to the Cold Palace to cut and clean up weed/grass/garden which was how he forgot about her and was stuck there. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The girl dressed up as the chicken pretending that she is the true form of the chicken like those demons/monster and stuff. She used such method to get her way, trick and scare the concubines to escape the palace.
The concubines discussed that weren't those fighting chickens male, so why would a female demoness appear.
After that, the palace guard says that someone escaped from prison. Then he says that a person from the Cold Palace is missing. He elaborated that back then a group of performers entered the Palace and a person was chosen by the King. He says that the person was strong, knew how to juggle and stuff but was dangerous.
Damn I guess I was wrong I can't seem to get past ep 20
Maybe it's just me, but they all start out on their own and coincidentally formed as friends and passed trials to enter a sect. And then it's those typically journey with bad friends and stuff tagging along to defeat the evil or your mentors who always hate the main character. I'm watching this at the same time with The Taoism Grandmaster and I feel more invested with that one.
The last four episodes have become such a drag. There was so much potential in the beginning and now I cannot…
Ikr, like when you watch a CN drama with an average of 50 eps it seems draggy, even a Korean 16-20 ep drama is still draggy, then there's still Japanese dramas with 10 eps but it is still damn draggy.
I swear no matter how many episodes we get , it just somehow becomes draggy especially starting from mid drama till the end.
I think writers need to be more creative in the complication and problem solving parts of the storytelling instead of using an example like "Let's break up" lasting for how many episodes with no answer to why.
No matter how much we skip in the drama it's actually amazing that we still get the jist of what got skipped. Like skipping dialogues of side characters for an example.
For this drama, I thought it would at least revolve more in the theatrical aspect but dammit it did not. I think I was hooked at the beginning cause of this and how the clock took part of Mika's theatrical life.

Stay strong girl!

It's not bad but you should try it.
