If this ML truly only believes in numbers, hopefully he is aware of the suspicious flows of money, cause if not, they just saying he smart. Just need to remind myself of this once it starts!
I totally get your point :) But this is not a reunited lovers drama where leads broke up & get reunited later…
Oh I lowkey like the reunited lovers thing but just not a big fan anymore of watching the youth arc, especially when they're in high school. Not in a creepy way lol just the characters are usually very childish (probably cause they are in children lol) and I can't wait to see maturity in characters.
Haven't started yet but in shows where they have two times, like when they are young and when they are older, I usually wish they move past the young arc fast. So my question is are they still in that period right now? If not, what episode do they go to when they've grown up?
Can someone explain to me what they did in episode 4 with the 10% missing amount. Explain it simply and completely, I want to understand the logistics behind the deal with Italy, and then the secret deal with Pyo and everything in between. Also... by selling Pyo the remaining 10%, they make a lot, but not the cost of the full 100% right? So did they just accept that loss? Or is the 33m they are asking for covering everything?
Okay okay... crazy it took me this long to watch it. I completely forgot what held me back but this show is so amazing. I love it and all the characters... ONE THING THOUGH.... okay let's say Eu Gyeol was like fk it, I'll kiss this old lady, I'll disappear from this world and it'll be like it never happened. BUTTTTT how is Se gyeong liking him. Does she not want Eun Gyeol (or I Chan) TO FALL IN LOVE WITH HER MOM?!!? AIN'T THAT WEIRD GIRL.... I guess she won't be alive to see her mom married to her old crush, probably what's she's thinking, but I just can't get that thought outta my head. Also, let's say she finds out which of the two was her mom first love, how is she gonna set him up with her? She's in the US, AND SHE HATES THEM! Also... her mom never returned to Korea, so the band that was supposedly made for her, and the lead who serenaded her on the spring festival, how did that happen if she wasn't there.... omg questions just pouring out now.
Sad it was one episode but it was great! Discoveries were made, misunderstandings resolved, romance blooming again, what more could you ask for (other than another episode that is haha). Loved every moment, the leads are so great together!
Imagine JBZ and MY are in love. JBZ is poisoned and constantly lying to MY to get the golden millet dream from…
I get your point, double standards do exist... and there might be people who would be upset if the ML was on the opposite side. However... people understand his actions, his motivations. They will also understand FL for being upset for being betrayed. Just like how there are women-haters in this chat, you came across man-haters on twitter. Normal people understand both sides. It's a heartbreaking situation.
anyways i would love to see a redemption arc or character growth for yan xiao, i still see him as a gray character…
I usually don't care too much for second leads but I really like both the characters, they actually have depth to them. We know yan xiao will get that redemption arc, can't wait to see it.
Their romance is so cute so many moments, lots of intimacy but its SOO HARD TO CONTINUE OMG! I really liked first few episodes, but overtime it just felt dull. Like what even is this plot (It's interesting, the lore, for once I lowkey understand what is happening in a xianxia). It's literally just the ML who has no clue what to do with himself after escaping his "prison" so they throw tribulations his way non-stop to further the plot, people trying to kill him, reseal him, steal his power.... nothing comes from himself, his goals, his purpose.
AND DON'T get me started on the FL. She is truly just an accessory. Don't get me wrong, I really like her. She is a refreshing lead, rarely see characters like her being a lead (usually you have leads who are like I just want to relax and live my live but they end up involving themselves in everything, not this girl, she's just happens to be with the ML). None of them have any goals, just want to live I guess?
It's interesting seeing such positive reviews, but they focus on the amazing characters and their romance which I guess IS the plot. I don't want to discourage people from watching, especially romance lovers, but me personally, I'm just struggling to get by. I prefer problems, misunderstandings (brief) lol, at least then we have more reason to see how their connection gets stronger even after getting together. I want to see more moments between them but It's hard to continue. I guess this is what xianxia dramas are like, I don't usually watch them. I will see how much further I can get! AT EP 17.
This was actually so good... like FL and ML were just amazing. Interesting plot twists, easy to follow, had some pretty nice scenes. I can't get over the characters. The FL was honestly perfect. She is funny, smart, kind, realistic, isn't naive, dumb, or makes silly decisions. I quite literally can't find a flaw with her. And the ML, starts off like your typical red flag, but that disappears real fast. He isn't even like a cold brute, just a chill guy. This is worth your time, watch it in one evening, you won't regret it.
I saw a CRAZY comment on this video where he is punching this fish supposedly cause he got assaulted by a fish when he went swimming when he was younger.... ISTG IF THIS IS TRUE LMAO
did they stop filming this drama or something? I want to know if their way of storytelling is purposefully choppy in an artistic way or is it just choppy period? The first couple episodes the story is going back and forth in time, just a little hard to follow, and I feel like it's missing parts of the story. Like maybe they don't want to focus on the past so their moving past that, but I want to see him asking her out and how their relationship began...
Now after the marriage it seems mostly back on track but like we haven't even been introduced to his kid yet (I'm episode 6), he was just there as if we were supposed to know about him. I wonder if we are going to go back in time again where we see their first meeting. Same idea for him asking her out (to date), like when we start to see the show in his pov. Is that the case? Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the show, no I'm not dense and struggling to follow, but just speaking objectively.
