Yes, if it's considered a spin-off, it's honestly not bad. The CGI is impressive, and the actors are well-known…
no, thank you, you explained it well! The hate makes sense, I was just curious as someone who hasnt seen the original work, cause this is a record breaking lowwww for a big korean movie lol

can someone tell me why this is bad without any comparisons to the novel/manhwa? Why is it a bad movie.. everyone is upset about it not respecting the original work, which is fair , but I try to see two works separately.

I see people are really liking it and I am too. I love the chemistry between the leads in this one compared to the Korean one. It might be early to say it as I'm only 3 episodes in, but they instantly feel more natural than the last one. It might also be because they are giving them soooo many scenes together.

I do have one disappoint is the reunion scene. I'm trying not to compare it to the Korean one as I know they are trying to switch up a few things, but it felt so empty. Like I wanted to really see her lies crumble apart one by one (the earrings, the job, the letter, the reveal!!), but they just hit you with one, "she bullied me for liking her crush" and then boom I will not be your friend? Came outta left field, STRONG! I wish we had the bathroom scene, otherwise why did they show it in the flashback? I wish we had the earring thing or something similar. Stuff to knock her character too, not just the lies. I want to hate her.

I want to hate him! Where was the scene where he was being aggressive at the cafe. Was that replaced with the one of him saying he will stay over after they go shopping? I see comments saying the revenge is good, but do I want to see how bad they are before the revenge happens (aside from them literally killing her... but like what other horrible stuff would they do while she's alive).

A lot of it feels rushed, but they are putting this in 10 episodes instead of 16. I am still enjoying it cause it all still makes sense. That would be my only complaint.

The director should be a politician, in fact he's too good to be a politician, he's a diplomat. He avoided commenting…
LOL I was waiting for him to talk about her acting but he didn't... bro fr needs to get into politics. Not saying she's a bad actor at all, I actually liked her in snow drop, but that's funny.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the resemblance between the female lead and Bai Lu?
1000% even her voice! She has a more mature, deeper voice

You call her hate valid, then turn around and say she’s acting like an NPC? Be so serious. The man’s tried…
Don't worry, it's wholesome <3 Men are swooned after massacring a small village but women get hate for being women. We see that everywhere, so I understand why you would think I am just one of those people (hence my numerous attempts as saying I like her LOL).

I just feel the frustration the ML felt when she kept talking about how bad he is, speaking on matters she knows nothing of. That one scene where she spoke with him while Chu Gui Hong was hiding stuck with me, but it felt like this show forgot it happened. However, speaking on what she does know, COMPLETELY valid. People refuse to put there selves in her shoes despite her trauma being shown, and are more than willing to be put on his size 14s even though we don't know the full story.

It's all good here! I'm glad you replied :D

I see how it looks, I promise I am not biased lol! Her hate is valid but her beliefs are NPC in how extremly prejudiced she is. Like it's overexaggerated! I don't hate her trying to kill him... go for it! It's the belief. Like she is talking about him losing his mother but than Chu Gui Hong is the only one who suffered? And she doesn't need to sympathize with him but it's very prejudiced. She is speaking about stuff she doesn't know, just saying he is bad. Don't sympathize, just don't say it. And when she does talk about how bad he is, they try to write it off as jokes, like when he was telling her about his battles. I found that funny, it's meant to be funny. But her beliefs are not based in reality at all. Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not the kind to hate on women for no reason and support all men lol

You can't say she isn't being annoying though lmao. Like she doesn't leave him alone. After he tried to kill her and failed he left her alone! Why should he trust her, he has no reason too, the same way she has no reason to trust him. She is saying weird things and his body moves to protect her like magic. Her behaviour is annoying but its nothing too bad. He wouldn't be cast as annoying, more like just mean...

I am really enjoying this, the female lead is refreshing, funny, I like her a lot but it's slightly annoying. Her beliefs about Nan Heng are the type an NPC would have. Like she really does blame him for everything. I won't say he is not bad, considering how he tried to kill her on multiple occasions, also multiple times in the SAME occasion haha so her hatred toward him is VALID. I too would be prejudiced against someone like that but they way she hates on him is extremely blinded. Like you really blaming him for actions as a child? That was wild. More annoying was that Nan Heng got upset at her for saying that stuff but then forgot about it?!?!? It's funny at times, but other times it's annoying.

Is the basis for her belief truly just he tried to kill her so he must definitely responsible for every bad thing? What is she missing... does she need to learn that Chu Gui Hong is the bad guy so that would make Nan Heng the good guy? It isn't always black and white but does it need to seen that way so she understands? She is smart at times, and other times not. I love her and hate her. I'm still very much enjoying the show, it's really enjoyable, it's well made. Just praying on some character development. The comedy is great and all, but when it's paired with such a plot, it needs to take a step back and let the serious stuff be serious.

NGL, the scene which Nan Heng finally understands her kinda ate. Like he finally got someone who trust him unconditionally…
I'm trying to understand this but it's difficult for me. She is just a character in this world, she has nothing to lose. She can carelessly take accountability, but in reality her accountability means nothing. She knows she can't die as Nan Heng can't kill her. All her accountability is doing is hurting her family, which she casts aside as "well whatever happens, I'm taking accountability!" I don't know if her thoughts are this deep, but they should be... cause what accountability is she really taking by just saying she is.

Also, could you explain the scene you're talking about where he understands her? The one where they were on the roof? What did she explain? I thought he just started to like her cause she cares for him, but how is he understanding? I must've missed something. What misunderstanding did he learn she has about Nan Heng, she never misunderstood LSL.

Why yall guys so biased towards the ML .... HE TRIED TO KILL HER AS WELL ... she is just trying to survive ...stupid…
they just hate women... a man can be a psychopath killer but it's okay cause he is good inside! but a woman is slightly annoying, and people don't like her.

Is it me or the middle class video was a big disappointment? And didnt anyone notice how asian teams (Kr and JP)…
they had the best song and fumbled so hard. I understand their issue with the asian teams, cause they can't hit the choreo as hard as the white teams, and its very clear. However, I can see how maybe they used that as an excuse. Aside from that though, they didn't do much interesting choreo aside from the one AG did, no cool formations, it was also too hard to see... I thought the last scene was cool but they kept cutting the camera you couldn't even see what they were doing.

I loved this webtoon, it was cute, glad it's getting a drama cause its quite a simple premise. I hope they change it up a bit and make it more interesting cause not much happens.

The casting is an interesting choice. They are both older actors, and I appreciate that, cause its less believable when we got baby-faced CEOS. Jin Hyuk's aura does match with the ML and I think Oh Yeon Seo does match the FL's look, but she is quite old. She looks great for her age, as do all Korean actresses, but she does give a more mature look. It doesn't fit the plot, where the FL gets pregnant from a one-night stand. You're telling me an older woman is going to fit this image?
