OMG I CALLED IT I KNEW HIS MOM WAS A FIGHTER TOO! You could just tell from her demeanor, that stiff posture, the fear she instills in her son (but also respect) and the fact that he can fight like that can't just be training.
It's like Weak Hero Class 1 mixed with Viral Hit, Lookism, Pyramid Game like webtoons all together
Frrr, the rank system (pyramid), the torturous bullying (weak hero), and the insane high schoolers that all know how to fight, wild animated-type fighting too like flying outta windows (lookism). Haven't seen viral hit but I'm sure you know what you talking about
omg the reference Gamin went to Technical High because he overheard someone talking about how you become smart…
I don't know if it's correct to say but Jun is kind of like a foil to Gamin. They are supposed to mirror each other, and mirrors usually reverse of what you see.
I want to watch this show but I'd like to hear from people what the leads personalities are like. Is FL immature, annoying... if she is does she have character development? Is the ML an asshole that doesn't communicate? What do I have to worry about? What can I look forward to about their characters? Also, from trailers, Bai lu's character had a similar vibe to TTEOTM, and the same vibe of pretending to love him to survive. LET ME KNOW THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
The director had less time writing this season, so he didn't know how to tell us stuff that happened in the 3…
Yeah I didn't mind the exposition, but its just a sign of poor-writing haha. I agree, I think the fact that many of them were likeable this time around was the reason we were able to root for them. Like the characters we followed last season, most were shit people. However this season, more humane stories, so it makes sense. A lot of people were dissatisfied but I can see
I don't understand the hate for this season, cause I enjoyed it farrrrr more than I did the first season. The…
The director had less time writing this season, so he didn't know how to tell us stuff that happened in the 3 years without literally just telling us.. Like the boat driver telling us what happened with the cop, and the cop's mom telling us about his brother.. like it was a story-time. Too much exposition, not very interesting.
I really liked a lot of characters, but there were far too many, All these actors wanted to sign up, hop on the squid game train after they missed the first LOL. Yeah so there were too many, I couldn't connect with them. I wanted to know more about their past, their situation, but it just felt like a bunch of people who owed money, nobody was special. Nobody was as iconic as Ali and #67 (forgot her name). Maybe the transgender character was close, and the mother and son. However, I barely know anything about the mother and son except their bond.
The cliffhanger is the biggest reason people hate it, the fact they waited 3 years for it, just for us to wait another half a year for the conclusion. People didn't know whether it would be a second game happening or whether the story would continue away from the games. But when we found out there was a second game, we hoped to see its conclusion.
Lastly, what made it worse was HOW it ended. What a horrible plan from Gi-hun. BRUH I'VE BEEN SAYING SINCE SEASON 1, GIHUN AINT THAT GUY!! Like end of season 1, you really think YOU are gonna take down this organization!? You could barely get through any game on your own in the first season. He is dumb, so of course he came up with such a stupid plan, a literally shoot off where the issue was ammo.
I don't understand the hate for this season, cause I enjoyed it farrrrr more than I did the first season. The characters were more loveable, I was rooting for them, It had me on my toes, but it was also enjoyable. The issues in this: hella exposition, too many characters, the ending, and last episode. Let me explain
you never watched it, but you rated it a 3 🙄. watching is your choice, but don't skew the ratings for no reason.…
They have worded this strangely, but it requires a little comprehension to realize they actually did watch it, but they wish they didn't. Hence, the I never watched this.... not I will not watch this. To be fair, it was confusing.
8.8 is a crazy score, is this really good? What are some other shows with its likeness? I'm in a cdrama rut, and this seems too good to ignore? How's the romance? The plot? The characters, are they likeable? If they aren't, is there at least good character development? Give me the rundown!
man this was such a shit webtoon , the whole story exists just to glorify the female leadcharacters' whole personality…
I never noticed when I first read the manhwa, but I've read so many since then, and this is so true. It's very disappointing when the only way to make your character smart is by dumbing down all the others. Even if others were smart, but she was just smarter, I dislike Mary Sues. We can never see their growth. I always appreciate when a character fails, and I can barely remember a time when she lost. True, the romance was so lame, I was expecting so much.
When I first read this manhwa, I loved the idea of a drama for it, but now I can think of so many others that would be better than this! I'll still watch it.
