This was a good Deep episode, I like that they are exploring the damage done to children by abuse and alcoholism. FL has some deep seated issues . she & her brother could benefit from attending some adult children of alcoholism meetings to help process their trauma. (they have these meetings in the US (AA ,Al anon etc)
The ML also deals with abuse from his mother who gaslights and manipulates him and his absentee father .who is never there
I notice the sibling relationships in Ml and Fl are very close and supportive which is good to see. I love the interaction between them
Both have their own issues but in a way they suit each other very well-
he communicates with her a lot better than she does & she finally was able to open up (some) in truth to him.
What bothers me is that she does drink, I know it’s a considered social in South Korea but realistically her odds of inheriting the disease since both parents were alcoholics is very high & as a writer it would make more sense for her to steer clear of it…(that’s just me don’t drink because it’s rampant in my family) but I get that it’s part of the story.
Making amends with an abusive parent is a whole other story- it should be up to the person to decide what works for them and not be judged by others regardless of what they choose. For FL it may have been the breaking point for her to let go of what she can from the past and reconnect to (ML) someone who genuinely loves her. I respected both the FL and brother for their choices.
Next episode looks good and I’m hoping the ML stands up to his mom and or branches out on his own and becomes more independent. I always shake my head when I watch these dramas of people who are in loveless marriages and want their children to share the same fate - all for power- I get it -but I don’t .
Anyhoo this was a drama I kind of picked up and started watching on a whim and now am enjoying it - oh one more thing- so so glad they didn’t progress with a love triangle - I hate hate those …just saying…

This just showed up 0n my kiss drama site - it had no episodes and no date-but it was in the new /present dramas area
It looks interesting , I’ll keep a watch for an eta. I really enjoyed FL “in Blossom” . Not familiar with the ML though .

As long as she gets her revenge for him lying then I’m in .. I was hoping she would amp up the heat with him bc she could “demolish” him she’s more of a strategist & knows her “enemy” lol id rather they have an honest relationship than him pretending to be her husband .lol..

Yes, he really doesn’t know that she was a concubine & her real connection to the other man. I’m curious as to her real personality when she remembers . I’ll check back in when she gets her memory back ..bc watching her be sweet to him while he is thinking of marrying another woman is irking me ..lol

oh, that sounds really good! he deserves some comeuppance , she has been nothing but nice to him and I was concerned she would be heartbroken when he revealed the truth. Time to give her back her dignity:D

I’m not feeling it for this drama either.. I loved the first few episodes but the longer he takes to tell her the more annoyed I get, he’s using her and making up excuses. Don’t feel he deserves her and he certainly doesn’t deserve to make her his concubine. She can take care of her self -let her live her life . Right now I’m just seeing him as a narcissistic character. I’ll take a break and wait til she finds out- hopefully she will make him sorry for deceiving her.

The Ml refers to her as the man’s concubine..so he’s assuming she’s in a relationship with him?

That I think is true so far -I was following that ..but then at the end of episode 4 one moment he was speaking to the Fl and then suddenly he’s at his moms house talking to his mom having a party and talking to his fiancé..
I really did not like how deceptive he is..but I’ll stick with the drama bc it looks good. Hopefully she makes him pay for his lies…lol

Did you like Follow your heart? I started watching it then got caught up in The Double. Excellent drama. Now I’m watching “are you the one” it’s pretty good so far. I’m waiting on Cinderella 2 K drama coming end of August.. that looks cute .

So,I just tuned into this drama, I happened to watch the last part of episode 8 last week & it intrigued me- but I thought I’d wait to see how episode 9 is…..
today I. watched episode 9 & I’m hooked, this is a seriously funny rom com. I really loved their argument -perfect timing and the “blind date scene” super funny.
. Part of me wanted to shake him up a bit and tell him to take a chance but it looks like episode 10 will take care of that.
Now I just have to watch episodes 1-8 so I can get the back story :D

I restarted from episode 11 and finished it up. It was much better than I thought it would be and he became sweet(i was wondering how they were going to redeem him..lol:D. I’ve seen him in a few dramas and they’re all good but I’ve never seen him like this.
if you haven’t seen these yet they’re also very good- Familiar Strangers , The Killer is also romantic , Queen of attack. I also enjoyed Different Princess (sad & happy ending tho :{
