Does anyone know what the ML said at the end of episode 10? I watched it raw and he’s becoming more obvious with his feelings toward her…..:D

That’s. What I was wondering also.. that’s the reason he left .. hopefully he will give the FL a divorce or if he’s already married release her .

I’m not sure of the ending… I do think they will probably have somewhat of a happy ending . a lot of things need to be wrapped up.
There is no romance tag but there is obvious underlying possible romance. if she ever could get out of being a widow…a lot of attraction, respect and protection between the two.
It’s done very well .there are sparks that fly and eye contact each episode that goes deeper as they progress without crossing the line
. She is a widow whose husband one thinks is initially dead but he’s not. He left to marry a blue eyes woman (from the west) and his dad said “you leave to marry a foreigner you’re as good as dead” so hes presumed dead for 15 years until he returns . There is a possibility he could be married to someone else and that would change the FLs story. The father is evil and has plots against the king (and the previous king) so that would affect the FL also & the FLs brother was a kings guard who has disappeared.
It is absolutely worth your time. I’m a rom com person and I am really enjoying this drama. Both leads are perfect.
When I’m not sure of a drama - I check the comments watch previews, trailers etc… see if it appeals to me

I’m up to episode 23 on the rewatch and there’s so much that I missed the first time watching . I must say that the both of them did an awesome job ! So many hidden gems each episode and his eyes are so expressive.

The ending is good:) i would have liked more time with just the two of them at the end but I have to say that I really really enjoyed this drama . I felt their relationship was developed in a natural way so when they finally got together it was very believable
I loved how he became very sweet through her care for him and one could accept that he truly was in love with her and could accept the he was a person who was lovable.
( i love the scene where she sings him a lullaby)

I was getting panicky as the time was diminishing for them to re meet in the. Modern world and I was thinking l
“shorten the scenes with the other characters for goodness sake !!!”
It felt 15 minutes of Gongye at his wife’s grave (that was a horrible thing to happen to him- totally did not expect that- especially with her being pregnant..I treared up a bit:(. I would have liked 5 more minutes of them meeting and such but I was happy they gave us that. He looked great in modern times and I liked his comment to her.. that was definitely Ju
Great drama all around maybe they could do. Modern drama ..that would be fun.. both have wonderful chemistry together
So happy ending in a way- some sadness but it was a journey and a good story:)

Yes she is very evil - she seems to be the main antagonist of the story but I’m pretty sure it’s not just her that’s doing everything ..I think last 2 episodes will show us more evil doers. It’s a really well done drama- worth the time to watch if you’re on the fence

Just a thought.. wouldn’t it be interesting if Ju is also an author who knows. Qing and went into the story also because he wanted to change it
…initially he came in as she wrote him and then he created his own version and fell in love with her along the way …
I’d like at least 20 min of them meeting each other and then the drama showing us they have a child and he’s a happy father … just sayin’. :D

Initially I wondered why he tried to kill the FL until I realized he probably knew she was meant to spy on him . He knew how evil the empress was from the beginning since she had framed his mom & the Su family. Looking back I really enjoyed how the story unfolded and how the FL really learned the meaning of the characters she developed as well as the free will of them once she became immersed in the story. Only sad part was watching the crown prince have to follow a path that I would image could eventually destroy him

Now that we’re nearing the end of the drama.. I decided to rewatch it again .(.since I enjoyed it so much )
and see if I notice all the things I didn’t before :)

It always amazes me how these people get hit by cars and no broken bones ..hopefully crazy girl got arrested ..lol
anyhoo it looks like he has amnesia….?
I was. only up to episode 12 and it looks like one of the flash back scenes was them getting married ..
so I’ll just think to myself at some point he remember he loves her and they have a happy life :)
