I have a question and I’m going to write spoiler on it ..so if you have not seen up to episode 6 and don’t want a spoiler PLEASE don’t read this comment

So my question is ..if the Father In law of the FL is somehow involved in the death of the kings father wouldn’t his whole family be implicated including his daughter in law ?
We see how the wife of the guy who was killed (poisoned) knew all about the petals,
the child trafficking guy is involved with it and the father in law seems to be the head of it all…

We also saw how he wanted the FLs brother killed…
wouldn’t father in law and family’ be killed ?
That happens in my Chinese drama…
also as a widow can she not remarry? ….But I read in the comments if she got divorced she could?
I’m not sure this new guy is her husband bc their setting him up as a merchant and he’s meeting people I would think he’d keep a low profile if he was the son

This is the kind of drama where you wish it had 16 episodes bc it’s so good!
I just read FLs bio and she’s 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, and is a scuba diver and a competitive skier..
it sounds like she’s probably doing some of her own stunts:D

Just watched episode 6 raw and it’s so so good. The relationship is forming between them and I love the banter, the looks her inner dialog & “ imagination ” (lol) and his jealousy.
The plot is thickening and the real story is being revealed. There’s an interesting back story and since there’s only 6 episodes left it should continue to move quickly.
I love how FL is equal to or superior to MLs martial art ability. He admires her and is definitely interested in her (his jealousy in this episode was adorable) -
I wasn’t sure how they would work the romance in but it’s forming nicely. They both have great chemistry and are awesome together. Next week looks super interesting:D

I think she is adorable.. she’s the mix of messy ( ink on her face) pretty ( but she doesn’t overdo it ( ie: 26 he’s taking out all the stuff from her hair.. thinking “ I like you looking like you “
friendly in like you could hang out with her & be yourself :) capable and smart.. she’s hanging with the leads and figuring things out long after she doesn’t know the whole story….
I’ve watched her for years and yes.. she makes me smile too:)

Yes, I know what you mean.. in the last 5 seconds they meet and that’s it. I’d even go for a part two story in modern times :D

Just saw this trailer pop up and it’s got an adorable “Ks” scene - (i don't want to spoil it for anyone )
This drama is SO much better than I expected. I’m invested in all the characters and I love that they are spending so much time fleshing out the relationship with the leads .
Every character is experiencing their humanness - (family ties, pride, revenge, weakness, life, death) aspects - revealed in an honest way. I do feel bad for some of them, they have to stay their path regardless of the outcome….

The way the FL is realizing that “writing “ a book and actually “being in the story “ changes everything..is done very well, she observes initially with her understanding and then realizes the story is much deeper /introspective than she thought. I think the original Ju character is the one she wrote (in the initial episodes) and then he becomes his own person. The scene where he sits with her on the roof and when she realizes no one does something “just because” there are so many factors….. work to make her a much better character person & author.
However this goes (if she stays or leaves etc) I’m seriously enjoying it

Is this subbed anywhere? This is such an excellent drama. I’m watching it raw but I’d love to hear the dialog . These two are awesome!! I love that she’s Kick A## and knows how to fight .

I think he is sharing part of the rent and either knows the grandma or is related to her..? Not sure FL is not dating him not interested in him other than as a really awesome translator. He likes her she has shown no interest in him
He is very annoying as she obviously likes ML even tho she is cold to him she did get jealous ion one of the episodes

Hmm.. I hadn't seen that to the degree you have, but it does make sense. On ep 6 or 7? When he tells her he likes her and she re-introduces herself to him to date him and when she is supportive of him and he wins the contest..I can see how she is more active in taking the steps needed to get to the end result.
I kind of saw him as someone who kept looking for her approval and that he needed to be stronger in who he is. It seems when he waits on her or tries to help her she bristles a bit or tries to distance herself.

What you said makes sense though.. on one hand I wish she had been honest with him as to why she was breaking up with him ..but I understand why she didn’t bc he may not have pursued what he wanted to and that would have weighed on her.
Honestly this drama is so good in dissecting the characters bc they have that history behind them and we know they will come back together..but there’s healing needed on both sides
I’m going to watch ep 9 now :)

I’m up to episode 8 . Episode. 7 showed how nervous he was and I liked how she accepted him with a new introduction.
She’s a study and I’d like to go deeper into both of them individually and together.
her demeanor is so “holding her soft side back” other than to her very close friends and grandma. What were the factors that led her to be so protective ….

I see what you mean. I’m enjoying the drama but at times I think she’s a biatch (i know she’s really not but she can come off that way)
It seems like every time she takes a step towards him she reels back and creates more distance. He is very sensitive, good boss/person (i like that he does things for others like donating he translators to the kids) smart attentive /caring (honestly sometimes he wears his heart on his sleeve:)
She is a perfectionist attentive, strong minded work oriented (i wonder if she has hardened her heart towards him or closed it off in general.. she only trusts a few people so,I wonder what more of her back story is)
One big issue I see is lack of honest communication, even the almost whole episode where he never clarified that he was not the child dad..that would have made any woman uncomfortable. It dragged on too long for me-especially when the other moms thought there was something strange going on
While watching this I ask the question “would she even think about dating him if he was not successful?” “Why does he have such an inferiority complex.?” The man is smart capable good business person etc.. he has to stop looking for her approval …
I really love the middle man who is trying to speak for them both and clear up the misunderstandings .
I would like to see them working together more so she can see his strong points. I would also suggest he stop trying to chase her and distance himself so she has to come to him. I would also suggest couples counseling when they get together (to teach them how to communicate properly)

But that’s the joy of watching these dramas.. these two are great actors and we get pulled into their world and enjoy the journey :D
