What's the creepy red hand! I am almost not gonna watch the drama bcuz of that! Somebody tell me what is that…
300+ years ago, one of ML's ancestors killed the owner of the bloody hand. Apparently (?), the owner cursed the Jang family to "struggle with horrible pain".
Some may call it filler but you also need those slower story bits where you pause and let things breathe, especially…
I'm guessing that a new spell will be cast every week for at least a few more weeks - there ARE more than three, as you know, 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So no. . . .I don't think either one of the second leads is going anywhere soon. And I don't think it's a coincidence that they have such a close connection (her father/his boss).
Also agree they are developing feelings for each other because they are spending time together, not because of the spells, the curse, or even their "destiny".
I've never heard of Rowoon before this drama, but he is really slaying the part with his different facial expressions AND vocal range/timbre.
ML says too many top cringe level lines for it to be natural. His initial personality was that of a tight lipped…
Totally agree. The spells work - but perhaps not as intended by the spell-caster (Hong-jo, junior Shaman). I'm wondering why the sudden change in his parents the day after she cast (perhaps incorrectly) the "nullify tragedy" spell.
The bottom line on this show (based on the scenes thus far) is that their destinies cannot be severed but that doesn't necessarily mean they have a romantic destiny.
HE was cursed by Lady Bloody Hand. SHE was the chosen one who can lift the curse. That's their destiny. It probably has something to do with the fact that their ancestors (past lives BS that I hate) were in love with each other. Based on scenes thus far, Shaman Aeng-cho chose Hong-jo and Lady Bloody Hand does not like that one bit.
Romance might be the ultimate result - but it's not required in order for the curse to be lifted.
During these months of me watching TRHC, I've hated Kim JunHa aLOT.....But when I saw him cry for HaNeul, I seriously…
Jung Eui Jae (the actor) is doing great in his first main role - I'm glad the writer/director finally gave him a chance to show a broader range of emotion.
I have the same hunch. These spells may not be working or somesuch. ML is not really under any love spell. What…
But she IS the "chosen one" - the one who can life the curse which IS very real.
All of that cheesy dialogue in the early episodes is simply not believable as a man who is somehow, irresistibly in "love" with her.
If the curses are real, then I think the spells are real. Otherwise, the writers are cheating us.
I'm not sure what was meant by that final incorrect word on the charm, but my bet is that it did work - on the "wrong" (or, perhaps the correct??) couple. his parents.
Come on episode 6 give us...nothing.... again.... 🥲 Episodes 5 & 6 were boring af... episode 7's preview looks…
Well, we found out that the love potion DID work.
But agree that there wasn't any real movement on any of the relationships and shame on the writers for failing to give us more hints about the original owner of the bloody, creepy hand or their ancestors/past lives.
Curious what happens if it's the cure to the curse that gets nullified. Been a little too easy so far...
It's not clear that Hong Jo is a descendant of the curse sender (Bloody Red Hand). She IS the owner of the box (according to Shaman Eun Wol.)
When Shin-yu was driving to meet Na-yeon ("If you don't come, I will die"), Hong Ju began to concoct the potion and he did a big U-turn away from Na-Yeon - at which point Bloody Red Hand showed up and appeared to be stopping him from his new destination.
I definitely feel like this show could benefit from better editing. Other than that, I think the acting totally…
I began to re-watch Episodes 1-4 a couple of days ago and noticed that one must pay very careful attention to flashbacks and/or disconnected scenes (we see 1st part of a scene in one episode and the 2nd half in a different episode).
To me, that's excellent writing/editing - PROVIDED the writers don't play tricks and omit critical info until 10 episodes later. That would be GARBAGE writing/editing.
I don't like that he is two timing, at least he can make a break with his current gf time to find a way to break…
Two-timing?
Is he dating Hong-jo? No. Has he told Hong-jo he wants to date her? No. Has he told her he has true feelings for her? No.
I want to know backstory of Jae Kyung, if for no reason other than the fact that I originally put this drama on my watchlist (months ago) because Ha Joon was in the cast.
I hate it when people say not to talk negative it is open discussion we are allowed to have our opinion and what…
Some people may not "understand" what they are watching, but they do understand that Season 2 followed the web-toon more than it followed the Season 1 drama. There was never a romance or even a "crush" in the webtoon.
My theory about their past liveFL - Shaman family (obviously poor woman & low ranking in social hierarchy)ML -…
"At the same time we come to know that the princess (SFL) is betrothed to ML / she too develops a liking towards ML leading to royal family proposing for marriage"
Do you recall which episode this was in? I'm trying to keep track of the various clues.
oh I love Shin Yu but Jae Kyung is so right about the two timing thing 🥺
I would like to know why Jae Kyung is so concerned about the "two-timing". He works for Na Yeon's father and therefor presumably knows her well - makes me wonder if he secretly cares for Na Yeon.
I just realized that one reason I haven't bothered to watch in a couple of weeks is my deep fear that Kang Min…
My favorite genre is rom-com and occasionally a good legal drama will draw me in. Dislike reincarnation so I already know that I will be partly disappointed with Destined With You, but hoping the high level of humorous dialogue will help mitigate.
I just realized that one reason I haven't bothered to watch in a couple of weeks is my deep fear that Kang Min…
lol, but no when I read the top-level description of Revenge of Others, I felt uneasy - and then read the spoilers and confirmed my suspicions. So, no - won't be watching it. It's one reason I'm worried about the end to My Lovely Liar. Seo Ji Hoon is remarkably versatile in his ability to portray multi-dimensional characters.

Aeng-cho was a female shaman.
The person who killed Aeng-cho was a Jang.
It's not clear if Aeng-cho placed the curse on the Jang family or if it was another member of her family.
Although I am enjoying the show, including the magical spells and curses, I dislike reincarnation stories, so I may be dropping this at some point.
