Friendly reminder for those who say the thriller part comes out of nowhere, literally the first scene in the first…
It was marketed as a "bittersweet romance". The first scene you mention appeared to be a "mystery". but once the antagonist was obvious (ep 6? 8?) it became a thriller. And if folks around here want to drop it or walk away - then not sure why anyone is concerned about their decision/choice.
I'm only halfway thru Ep. 4, but now there are TWO women that will be easy to hate - Hee-ja AND Min Young. I hope Karma-with-a-capital-K is their destiny.
It's original series on Disney+ without airing on any TV network. Disney+ does it similarly with Big Bet
What time does it release?? The last time I watched something on Disney+ (Asia) with my VPN, it was 5:00 pm KST/midnight PST - but that was when we were in Daylight Savings.
Sorry but they didn't have to hurt my rom-com heart like this ππ€π»i started this with so much excitement…
I'm in the same position, but I paused at Ep. 9 and I will binge once the show is complete. Mildly interested in how it all plays out, I like the teens more than the adults and I still think Lawyer Mom has a back story that has not yet been fully revealed.
It will be complicated because the skank who married four times and kicked her out of her family house will play…
You have been watching k-dramas far longer than me, but if we are looking at 16 episodes, there will be more to the story than simply "love" and "runny noses", lol. Perhaps Skank will be (or, already is) connected to the evil corporate competitor. Once they become a couple, I will lose interest if there is nothing more to look forward to than the inevitable Episode 12 break-up.
I checked out this show on several web sites and this description show up twice:
"A romantic melodrama in which a man and a woman involved in a revenge drama, forget about revenge and shed tears and runny noses because they feel sorry for each other."
Frankly, I hope they don't forget about revenge because that scheming mistress deserves karma.
Ep 14 was much better than eps 12-13, but I still think the thriller part ruined this drama. It should've stayed…
When he shot the pellet into the shop, Haeng Seon was not only verbally attacking CCY, but she was briefly struggling with him (over the phone?? I can't recall). From outside the shop, it may have appeared that CCY was under attack and the pellet at least put a stop to it.
Iβm already in love with the show. The last times I was so hyped with the beginning of a melodrama have been…
This was on my watchlist because of Lee Sung Kyung, but my goodness, after watching Ep. 1, this is definitely NOT a lighthearted romance like Sh**ting Stars (which I loved). Keeping my mind open but every character appears to be uber-dysfunctional.
They are indeed dragging the dead horse over the finish line π The Nam family scenes, little as there were,…
I stopped watching a few weeks ago because my k-drama viewing hours are very limited right now. I don't mind mysteries intertwined with romance, even when their only purpose is to drag it to 16 episodes. But I dislike thrillers and that is what Crash Course has become. I guess I'll binge w/FF button once it's over because I do like Hae-yi and Sun Jae. π
Just my thought: Now HaeYi getting into accident coz Ji was chasing her...was all witnessed by Sunjae's mom for…
I admit that I have stopped watching around Ep. 9 because I plan to binge when I have time.
But I still think that Lawyer Mom was likely the attorney who won Ji's appeal (assuming he's the brother of the girl who committed suicide?) because of what she said at the All Care Mom luncheon about that particular case.
Also, up through Ep. 9 - I'm pretty sure she was never in a scene with Mr. Ji - unlike the other Moms. It's possible she defended him 10 years ago in court but may now begin to realize that he may be dangerous. If so, I'll be interested in seeing how her story - and the story of her sons - will play out.
Not only does it have a happy ending but there is no silly/meaningless "break-up" mid-way through the series. This is the only k-drama that I have given a 10β rating. The story is crazy (one of the best choreographed pillow fights I have ever seen) but the love is real.
I stopped watching at the 10 episodes and after seeing the spoilers from the last 2 I think ill drop it. I watched…
lol, same here - I was already FF through much of the scenes and did a complete stop at Ep. 10 so I could read spoilers and FF if necessary. But I don't have time to waste on this and at this point, it will be a "drop" on my MDL watchlist.
Last week, I said that after binge watching thru Ep. 10, I thought I should probably wait until the show was complete (Ep. 12) before watching (with a heavy finger on the FF button). I just read comments below - for me, I made the right decision. I love happy endings and maybe we will have one. But I'll need to be spoiled first and then decide how much to FF thru. This is NOT the way to capture viewers who want romance.
I've been team sunjae since the day he decided to go back to his hyung and introduce him to haeyi. They're this…
One of my favorite scenes was Hae-yi and Sun-jae on the {trope alert!] swing set - each disclosing secrets and w/out a doubt signaling to the viewers that they are destined to be a romantic couple. Perhaps not in high school. . . . . .. but eventually. I've kinda lost interest in the older pair because the show has now become a "thriller" instead of a "mystery". My ππalways seem to belong to the teens - naive, dedicated, loyal, intelligent.
Thank you for your answer. I liked SML from the beginning, even w/knowledge that he WAS the 2nd lead and wouldn't win the heroine. But he deserved a decent, happy ending and I put this one on hold around ep. 7 or 8. Now that the series is complete, I can speed through the scenes that are positive (including the Main Leads) and make it to the end. Otherwise - this convoluted plot (especially re: the murdered princess) was beginning to drag big time. Again - thanks.
Yeah I feel like the orange brown color of his pen will be a part of the mistake cuz why else would they gave…
I haven't watched yet, but are we to believe that for 10 years, Mr. Ji has never used that pen in front of CcY ? But now he uses it in front of Haeng Seon? I guess I'll have to watch carefully when I have time.

Still unofficial, but if this is accurate, looks like UC2 will release before Arthdal.

It was a red herring/false clue to be sure.

but, jeeeze, I hate having to watch only on my computer/laptop screen instead of my television. π₯
