Not sure I have ever both cried so much and smiled so much within the same episode of a show. That finale was…
Am I wrong, but I thought Cho Yeong didn't have any "mage" energy (the energy from the water of Lake G) remaining - the energy that is used to power the swords/bows and arrows/etc. JBY had divine powers - very different from energy from the water of Lake G. I thought it made perfect sense.
But did we ever find out where her sword came from?
We still have BTS for Ep 9-10; after that, I don't know what to do anymore. maybe i watch "wednesday"
Lots of fun stuff showing up in ig posts and twitter. Here's a couple of clips showing the transformation of Uncle Seo to Jin Mu. I admit, I'm a dork about this kind of stuff.
Season 1: 10/10Season 2: 7.5/10(the second season was very rushed, you could easily develop this story in 20 more…
They originally (June 2022) said they wanted to do part 2 because: "“When Hong sisters were writing the script, we discussed so many interesting stories about different families, characters and their development. Unfortunately, I thought 20 episodes would not be enough to really show the strengths of the scriptwriters who create very entertaining and comical stories,” the director said.
“The scriptwriters are currently working on part two as well. Hopefully, we will have more time to explore each individual character in detail,” Park added."
But for whatever reason, Part 2 focused 90% on the OTP and there was little effort in exploring the individual characters or even the different families. That's probably my biggest disappointment in Part 2.
Was that the end of Jin Mu,the most evil character of the show? All that build up for that ending? Not to mention,…
Folks forget - or perhaps never knew - that the "badass" Naksu scene with Park Jin was filmed a year in advance and was almost entirely created with CGI, make-up, camera angles and a remarkable stunt double. GYJ spoke a few sentences and she was remarkable as the killer assassin, but those scenes were expensive and it took them months to put it all together. I think Jang Uk's scenes today with the fire bird were some of the first he filmed - helps explain why the best CGI of Part 2 didn't show up until the last episode.
I was expecting to be in shock after tonight's finale. However, I didn’t think that it would be due to the impossible…
La;dy Heo was dating a man she met that had a broken arm who was handsome as Seo Yul (but apparently NOT Seo Yul because he never had a broken arm). Seo Yul is the new head of Jeongjingak
You know how AOS mixes up time frames?? Going back and forth to show what led up to the current time?? Ep9 is full of that so nothing is confirmed. Cfossing fingers it is fake out to fool jin mu.
Okay I don't want to hold on to hope or anything but why is everyone mourning Park Jin and Maid servant Kim??…
Some people watch at surface level. Others think about what might be below the surface. I can't believe writers/directors would telegraph so blatantly. Crossing fingers.
Cho-yeon and Dang-gu are married and. . . . . [please, please, please] - have boy/girl twins Go Won is King cuz papa is goin' down Sang Ho survives - but do we ever get to see Ju wol again (what a waste of a character) Yul survives. Daeho is saved, thanks to Bu-yeon and Jang Uk.
All else is a mystery.
Good night - I have to get up at 5:30 am (10:30 pm KST) to watch when Netflix releases.
Wut … you are kidding, right ????? 😱https://twitter.com/kdramadaisy/status/1611751269433233409?s=46&t=7f0OHHhu57ciXqvKUhY6Nw
I wrote earlier - it doesn't make sense to me that the writers would telegraph this in previews and photos (black/white of beloved couple), etc. Fake-out to Jin Mu, I hope.
The producers of "Illusion" said, "The final episode, which airs today, will be the culmination of the romance between the two couples, and all the actors and crew did their best to make it an ending that will remain in the hearts of viewers for a long time. Let's see what kind of end the couple's steadfast fateful love will end."
