If Bu-yeon was still alive (and did not drown) at the time of soul swap, it IS possible that the soul switch was successful and JBY swapped with "Naksu". Think about it - Jang Uk was guessing why there was no blue mark on Mu-deok's shoulder and he assumed that it showed up in her eyes - but likely JBY's eyes had the blue mark from birth. I hope she is alive and I hope she has a happy reunion with mom and sis, but expectations are low. Very low. 😢😢
The only problem with JBY is that she's not the main plot she was created so the Naksu doesn't die or petrified…

I'm not happy, but I think with news of Moon Sook filming in late October (and young JBY actress in studio and location) that this will be the answer - JBY drowned; JSR has been keeping "Mu-deok" alive and appearing whenever JU's life is in peril. JSR chose Naksu, etc. I don't like it, but it's the kind of thing Hong Sisters would do, especially since JSM won't appear in Part 2. 😢 Thankfully, I'm still interested in other couples and characters. 😎

Same here, expecting all viewers to simply "accept" a new face/expressions is not of interest to me, but I have moved on. I am anxious to see the Cho-yeon/Dang-gu story and Maidservant Kim/Park Jin (PLEASE AoS/Hong Sisters - do not sacrifice Park Jin!!). Fight scenes, gorgeous cinematography (and the ChoDang Boy/Girl Twins🥰) I have any reasons to continue watchinig AoS.🥰🥰

I don't think he "rescues" her - at some point, she is apparently wandering all over Daeho - in the forest (tvN says it is their first "meeting" but she is "shrouded in veils), Jinyowon, Jeongjingak ( w/Yul), Chwiseonru (balcony) and at some point is in the Jang home. She wouldn't do that if Mama Jin was keeping her prisoner.
Park Jin isn't around but Jin Mu is - that's her real danger - he and Yul are the only ones who knew her when she was alive. Yul is the first to recognize her.

There is no indication that this was the plan from the beginning. GYJ was originally hired as a cameo only (she said this in an interview). We can only speculate as to why JSM was hired for only 20 episodes but she did have other commitments (Project Wolf Hunting promotion, for example).

I watched Sky Castle w/a heavy finger on the FF button but yes, I didn't FF through their scenes. One of the bright spots of that show. Can't believe that the Jo Jae Yoon of Sky Castle is Jin Mu in AoS! I won't be able to watch "Behind Every Star" until late tomorrow (my time) but it will be a priority because the pre-release looks hilarious - she is so grand. 😍
