Holy s**t - stuff going down at Cheonbugwon in the Episode 9 pre-release. CP, Jin Mu, Park Jin, Jang Uk, Yul and crew. . . . This is what I've been waiting for. π
Rough translation by anntifan - she breaks it down into several clips.
I officially ended my theorist era now I just wait for anything for my OTP that the writers are gonna give me.…
I don't believe there is any way the "daisy scene" foreshadows a tragic ending. There might be a special twist, but it won't be tragic. Although I admit - I'm not invested in the OTP so I am able to enjoy the overall story w/out stressing myself out too much.
Except I want that ChoDang wedding and I want it ON SCREEN!π
Question: In season 1 episode (8/9?) Gil ju performs AOS with soul ejector to shift his body but wouldn't get…
1. My theory (since last summer): Jang Uk has the energy of the Kings Star. That special energy is required to "deal with the chaos of the ice stone." She saved him because he is the one - either by destroying or protecting the ice stone - who can bring stability and peace to Daeho. Her birth was the beginning of the chaos and she is determined to bring an end to the chaos. There is zero evidence that Jin Bu-yeon every knew Jang Uk (as a child) or has any special feelings for him. My girl is on a mission to save Daeho - the "world" (a word that his used frequently in AoS) and she's going to do whatever is required (I think she will die).
2. Iirc, because Gil-ju was injured, his body became unstable and that's why he began to petrify. In reality, it was a plot device to inform/educate Mu-deok and Jang Uk about the existence of the ice stone in the Palace and how it could save a soul shifter. It progressed the narrative.
Here's the Jaewook and In-soo scene that I want to see! Dang-gu (all dressed up - maybe wedding togs??? π€π€) and Jang Uk looking mighty fine - with a different "belt" than he has been wearing throughout Part 2. Hoping this isn't another Dang-gu scene that gets cut from the final.
Is the translation correct. It says 'Wedding shooting location with good atmosphere'Wedding?
When I read Park Eun Hye's comment (as translated to English), I interpreted it to mean that she was thanking Director Park (who was standing behind her in the photo with the flowers and she was unaware that he was there) for teaching her a lot and providing a Hwanson ("wedding") shooting (filming) experience with good atmosphere.
They would never, ever allow her to hint that it was the location of a wedding scene.
Is the translation correct. It says 'Wedding shooting location with good atmosphere'Wedding?
Based on the spoilers for Ep 9/10, I think the fire bird is merely a plot device for Jin Mu's evil scheme - but it also the Number One reason that Jin Seol-ran built Jinyowon and Mama is determined to protect it (and Daeho) at all costs.
Is the translation correct. It says 'Wedding shooting location with good atmosphere'Wedding?
If you look at other cast member ig pages, the term "wedding" shows up all the time. The word "marriage" appeared all the time as a translation of "alchemy of souls". It was very confusing at first for me.
Park Eun Hye posted this photo on September 27 - there are several photos by different cast members that week noting that they have finished filming and giving thanks for the opportunity.
Here's a photo of Park Eun Hye's last filmed scene (so it might not be her very last scene in the show). She's looking at the fire bird pedestal and she she doesn't look super happy nor does she look sad - she looks at peace/content. I think it means that the fire bird was not removed, therefor Jinyowon still stands and Daeho is saved. But, as I said - maybe this isn't her last scene in the show!
Why do I get the feeling that thereβs more to the name Cho Yeong which will be revealed in the end..? I think…
Viewers have wondered from the beginning why she was so powerful. I thought she was Jin (mother, grandmother, whatever), but the "Mage Choi" connection seems very possible.
Supposedly the term "light and shadow" is based on the names "Wook/Uk" which means "iight/sun/glow" and "Yeong" which supposedly means "shadow" (although I can't find that translation anywhere - Korean, Chinese, Hangul).
I read an article (can't find it now) where writers or tvN said it means you can't have shadow w/out light and you can't have light without shadow and so that means they have an "inseparable" destiny.
But since we haven't heard Yeong's name yet in Part 2 (and only once in Part 1 I believe?), it seems to be nothing more than a marketing ploy.
iirc, GYJ posted something on ig at the same time that was a close-up of the flowers - they looked like daisies at the time so perhaps that is why it is called the "daisy" photo. π
second lead syndrome do be hitting me straight in the face with this one
I have never cared about any 2nd ML before, but this one sure hits the heart especially since they had an indirect "connection" in the past. However, the primary reason I put this on my watchlist is because of Kim Young Dae so I will continue to watch and enjoy.
so what things do you need for the last episodes to feel satisfied??for me I just need 1-naksu in action and big…
Naksu has no energy. Folks forget that the original Naksu/Park Jin scenes were some of the first scenes filmed in June 2021 and it took months of CGI required to complete that epic 5 minutes.
It's possible we will see a scene comparable to Mu-deok in the Ice Barrier when she suddenly retrieved her energy - loved those scenes.
You are more likely to see JBY ("Naksu"???) manifest divine powers - powers of life and death. A simple hand wave and bright light (similar to how Jang Uk's power has manifested in Part 2). Much easier CGI.
That's the one thing I want to see - original Jin Bu-yeon using her divine powers to protect the fire bird and thus protecting Jinyowon. I don't think Master Lee will let her destroy the ice stones.
Oh, and the ChoDang Wedding but I'm resigned to that wedding being held off screen. They've cut so many other In-soo and Arin scenes. π’π’π’
I don't think the actor for Yul's uncle actor will take such a small/meaningless role, which makes me think that…
It looks like the Crown Prince is the "double agent".
Yul's uncle is apparently nothing more than a plot device - he was useful in being a groom so that JBY could run away and he is useful as a sounding board for Jin Mu to talk with. Other sounding board characters (useful only for moving the story, not for any story of their own): Heo Yun Ok and Ju Wol (not the case in Part 1 but meaningless in Part 2),
Here you go. I've posted this twice in the last week. Perhaps I should do it every day as a public service announcement. ππ The "original" tweet was two separate photos - this tweet is one photo on top of the other and not as easy to distinguish each snapshot.
I am fine with them killing Naksu or Jang Uk or even both. I just canβt accept that the real JBY ends up with…
Jin Bu-yeon's goal is to save Daeho. She will be successful and probably die doing so. She's been asleep about 99% of the last 3-4 years, so no time to fall in love with anyone.
Well, [curse word, curse word} they dropped another Dang-gu/Cho-yeon scene. π’π’ The turtle gets more scenes than ChoDang - they should give the turtle Special Guest status. Someone on twitter even speculated that some of the BTS photos were filmed for the blu-ray edition, but I don't know anything about how that might work.
With only two episodes to go, I'll post some links to what may still happen.
Jin Mu, Uncle Seo and the Queen in the forest β one of the last location shoots and Director was there, but. . . ? to what purpose? Hmmmmm. https://www.instagram.com/p/CjETsisvTQA/

And I'll just add that Park Eun Hye's performance as Mama Jin has been phenomenal.
