JBY has never been a "background" character.
The writers told us that there were three main story arcs in AoS: (1) the narrative of Jang Uk and Mu-deok ("Naksu"); (2) the battle over the ice stone; and (3) Jin Bu-yeon's story.
Alchemy of Souls began with her birth and it will end with her. I wrote a lot about Jin Bu-yeon last summer and I thought she was End Game with regard to the ice stone. The hate towards me was so bad, I stopped. I was told over and over again that I wasn't watching the show properly.
I DO understand that most viewers here on MDL are focused primarily on the romance between Jang Uk and Naksu but a happily ever after life was never going to happen.
Jin Bu-yeon's plan is to destroy the ice stone - but I don't think she planned on it ending up inside Jang Uk.
Perhaps Naksu’s Full Energy needs to Kick in so She can Kick That little Bi¥%h Buyeon out and stop her from…
That "B***h" Bu-yeon, as you say, saved Naksu's soul, saved Jang Uk's life many times, and together with Jang Uk will destroy the ice stone (which has always been her end game). I must admit, I'm stunned that it's turning out this way because I was Team Jin Bu-yeon from the beginning and I thought Hong Sisters killed her off in Ep. 2.
As God is my witness, folks here upset about a non-kiss with Seo Yul and meanwhile Dang-gu and Cho-yeon made love OFF SCREEN and we never got more than a kiss on the cheek. F**k the writers - I guess we won't even get the wedding scene but at least now I know for sure we get baby girl/boy twins. 😍
Yea, the preview just confirms that writing in part 2 is messed up. 🙄First they announce one thing, then contradict…
"Nobody really gives a s*it about JBY, j"
Haha, I care. But maybe Master Lee told a lie to Yul so that Yul can be at ease and not worry about Naksu going wild any more??
I posted the other day that the writers were hinting that there was still a lot of original JBY in manifesting ("pretty stone"; animals are attracted to her; she's "foolishly kind") and wondered if there was a twist coming. I think they are continuing to play with us.
this episode teach us that bu yeon captured naksu's soul and used her energy...saved jang uk from soul transfer…
Jin Bu-yeon's soul/divine powers emerged over and over again in Part 1 - many viewers refused to believe it. But I'm not convinced that Master Lee was telling the truth to Yul - perhaps he knows what Yul was thinking about and this is his way of putting it behind him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I miss the funny character of mudeok. NaksuBuyeon is so feminine and gentle but I want Mudeok. Or Naksu but as…
There are parts of Naksu that I don't like, but I loved the sassy and INTELLIGENT Mu-deok who wrapped everyone around her little finger and whose every scheme worked to Jang Uk's benefit.
Preview for Ep 7: Seo Yul’s condition is critical and moved to Sejukwon. An angry Jang Uk heads toward fight with Cheonbugwan. In a crisis, Jīn Mu visits Lady Jīn to save Seo Yul's life and she asks for Buyeon to return back to Jinyemon in return for her help.
Since both Mama Jin and Seo Yul know about Woo-tak’s involvement with the blood parasite, I think Cho-yeon finally discovers what happened and is distraught. Dang-gu - take care of our baby girl!! Marry her. Start making those boy/girl twins!
Do you think he really killed all those people? He said he was going to, but I don't like to think of Jang Uk…
Yeah, I think Yeom Soo is dead - blood running from his mouth is usually a good indicator. Not sure about the others - if he kills, then Park Jin is the sacrificial lamb. Or, maybe it's if he kills using Naksu's sword? I can't remember. Regardless - Park Jin's on life support at this point based on the long preview. 😥
Pre-release for Ep. 7 . Someone on Twitter usually does a rough translation within the hour.
EDITED: I don't know why the tvN Twitter pre-release is only 60 seconds because apparently the full version is 1.5 minutes. This link is to someone on twitter and she breaks the full -prelease into four parts with her rough translation:
If I recall correctly, the spoilers for Ep 7 says something about Jin Mu asking Mama Jin for help to cure Yul and she demands that JBY return to Jinyowon in exchange for her help. (I think JBY cures Yul on her own. 🥰)
The person who designed and handmade many of the costumes for AoS started an ig page a few weeks ago and she has been posting photos of her work together with a screenshot from the series. I think all of Mu-deok's outfits (except blind girl Mu-deok) and most of Jin Bu-yeon's costumes are there. One of Ju Wol, Mama Jin, Cho-yeon, a couple of Jang Uk. [If this was previously posted, I didn't see it - this board is moving fast!]
There's Island or Reborn rich. As for romance try the forbidden marriage or fanletter, please
I started Forbidden Marriage but it went on hold during Christmas holiday chaos. I'm looking forward to watching when I have the time to sit down and read the subs.
New still cuts out!https://twitter.com/leejaewookstyle/status/1608683550156685313
From: https://www.news1.kr/articles/4910672 In the midst of this, a still cut released showed Jang Wook raiding the royal family. Jang Wook, who had been holding back his anger all this time. It shows him entering the royal family with an emotional outburst, which is eye-catching.
When Seja Go-won (played by Shin Seung-ho) stands in Jang-wook's way, Jang-wook points his sword at him, triggering a spontaneous confrontation. Above all, Gowon faces Jang Wook with intense eyes, as if he is willing to do his best even with the sharp tip of a knife, creating an atmosphere like a sheet of ice.
Park Jin (played by Yoo Jun-sang), who stands beside Jang Wook, also draws attention. However, depending on Seo Yul's life and death, the war between Jang Wook and Song Lim, the strongest members of the Great Tiger Country, and the royal family and the royal family's direct subordinate Heavenly Crown, is inevitable, so interest is already growing in the seventh episode, when a major upheaval is predicted.

Did this play during the firefly scene? Very lovely.
We have been told over and over and over again that his fate is with Cho Yeong. Korean marketing/public relations referring to JBY is simply beyond my simple mind. Wondering if this will be the scene where GYJ was sobbing and LJW cried privately afterwards.

Anything I didn't like, I blame on the writers. 😄
