Semi-related to AoS. If you love the lovely Oh Na-ra (Maidservant Kim), she has a guest role in Monday's episode of "Behind Every Star" (Ep.5 on Netflix).

If you haven't watched the show yet, it involves a fictional talent agency. Each week, a real-life star or two appears as themselves, although their specific story is not necessarily true-to-life.

The end of Part 2 will probably be pretty happy for most of the main 10 characters (one never knows which if one might be sacrificed), but the end of Ep. 20 is quite shocking and not happy for anyone. But, with only 3 weeks to go, you won't have long to dive into Part 2 which appears to be quite exciting and memorable.

Dang-gu and Cho-yeon will get a happy ending. 🥰🥰

The bottom line is that it doesn't matter whose sleeve it is - Naksu/Jang/uk fans aren't going to get the insta reunion, insta hand clasp ring, insta anything for several episodes. I think MDL will be a mad house the first few weeks. 😕

And if Cho Yeong is wandering around Daeho/Songrim, viewers should be glad that Yul is the first one to recognize her and not Jin Mu!

Haha, I have now seen/read 5 different translations on YouTube and Twitter. Some are similar, some are significantly different. Maybe Netflix will post an official sub version.

I am as well - I really wanted to see jin Bu-yeon reunite with her mother and sister. was looking forward to it throughout Part 1. Very disappointed in how JBY story is playing out.

They were still writing script for Part 2 when they were finishing up Part 1 filming. Also, some history/timelines changed between the 1st few episodes and last. Original plan was 20 episodes - that was what was sold to tvN. But when they tried tie everything up in 20 episodes, they weren't happy with the result - so decision was made to add another 10. I don't mind the amnesia, but I'm unhappy with the 3 year time gap because apparently some of the events that occurred (like Park Dang-gu becoming head of Songrim) will be mentioned but not seen. 😕

Very insightful post and I'm in agreement with most of your points. I'm going to watch when Part 2 debuts, but I won't be re-watching certain scenes over and over again as I did with Part 1. There are so many things I love about the show - interesting characters (especially the support characters), jaw-dropping cinematography, humor, tiki-taka (I had to look up the term!), etc. but altered history/facts late in Part 1 left me frustrated that the original "world" presented was somehow different by ep. 17. Apparently, the ice stone is the answer for everything - a hocus-pocus magic wand solution.

Like you, Jin Bu-yeon's story should have a proper closure and I am especially unhappy about Jin Bu-yeon story and fate. Although JBY's "story" will play out in Part 2, it appears that Hong sisters will focus on Jin Seol-ran's connection with Naksu in Part 2 and we will not see JBY reunion with Mama Jin and her sister. Naksu/Jang Uk fans have made it clear that they don't care about JBY's fate and consider her not deserving of life because "ice stone" but somehow Jang Uk deserves life because. . ice stone. Hong sisters understand their audience - but I'm not part of it.

Meanwhile, there are many characters that I do enjoy watching (especially Dang-gu, Cho-yeon and Yul), so I will watch because I believe all 3 will have a happy ending. I like happy endings. 🥰

Between still cuts and the 2 teasers, she either IS staying in Jinyowon or WAS staying there. Question is how she is able to leave? Escape or Mama Jin let her go.

Actually THE question is why does she look like Cho Yeong who burned in front of everyone. [warning: if you go to twitter you will see 101 theories about water, fire,, ice stone birth (like JBY), etc. etc..)

Haha, I will survive if no ChoDang content. However, I will be very, very happy if we can get some hints before Dec. 10. I am confident that they will get married at some point and 90% confident they will be pregnant with boy/girl twins (but I really, really want to SEE those babies!). 😊

Thanks for clarifying. It's a small minority (on both sides, especially on twitter). I try to ignore and look forward to what's coming. But as I said to Candyland a minute ago - I might become hysterical if we don't get at least some ChoDang still cuts! 🤣🤣

Noone should ever degrade any actress or actor - but MDL has allowed plenty of critiques in the past. I guess the earlier post was very bad since it was deleted before I visited MDL today.

But if people are upset about their favorite not being in Part 2 - what's the big deal if they express their love for their favorite actor? It's minor nuisance compared to all of the good stuff that is finally flowing out from tvN.

Of course, if tvN doesn't give me some ChoDang still cuts/article, then I'm going to be freaking hysterical! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There are only four people who saw "Naksu" up close: Park Jin, Yul, Master Heo and Jin Mu. Gil-ju did as well, but he's dead.

Hong Sisters wrote a story where a mother (Mama Jin) didn't recognize her own daughter!
I'm afraid they decided to kill Bu-yeon's character (soul) in Part 1 although her story will continue to impact and we probably won't discover her fate until the very end. 😥😥

I'm glad you dropped by. and provided positive comments😊 I'm getting worried about fans who thought Jang Uk and Naksu would find each other NLT Ep. 2, kill Jin Mu in Ep. 3 or 4, and then . . . . . . . .spend episodes 5-10 getting married, living the good life and having children. Maybe they are new to k-drama?

"Bad-ass" Naksu killed many innocent people and must atone before forgiveness Jang Uk made mistakes, innocent people died and Songrim and Jinyowon are in peril from Jin Mu and his co-horts, the Queen and Uncle Seo. I don't know how they are going to squeeze in all the stories in 10 episodes but it will be quite the journey.

I just hope the episodes on Christmas weekend are not the big epic ones!
