So, they finally acknowledge who she is (Cho Yeong/Young) but continue to play dumb with the posters, character descriptions, etc??? What kind of marketing is this?
And, now that I did a little searching, all I can say is: What the heck tvN???- Yesterday they had brand new character descriptions (including Yul's uncle) on the web site and I was going to try and update the AoS Character Descriptions. they also had a new Character Relationship chart. Now??? The web site is back to the old stuff.
I keep telling myself: ChoDang will get married. ChoDang will get married. That's all I care about. ChoDang will get married.
I think park Jin will die, pretty sure we see it in the second trailer and itโs hard to tell but I think itโs…
I never noticed it that way (I just re-watched and I agree with you) and personally I consider this good news because the way to shock the audience is a surprise kill (Jang Uk by Naksu). if they are showing in a trailer, he won't die. That's my philosophy. My feel-good philosophy. ๐
New Still Cuts โ this time the adorable Park Jin and Kim Do-joo. But. . . from the article:
โPart 1 ended with two people who narrowly crossed the line between affection and friendship confirming each other's feelings, and in Part 2, Park Jin and Kim Do-joo's "adult romance" is expected to take a nosedive.โ Nosedive? ๐ข๐ข๐ข Okay, But. Donโt. Kill. Park. Jin. Pretty please? He devoted his life to Daeho and his โsonsโ. These precious people deserve happiness.
I do remember that part but I was left with the impression that there is more to the Kings Star story in terms of dealing with the ice stone chaos. Master Lee said something like "some will come and some will leave". Dang - I don't have time but I'll need to find it in the next couple of weeks. It was clear at one point that the 7 stars were real people because we were all guessing who they might be.
How did he die? The Four Families were involved and it appears that Park Jin specifically killed him. The rest…
Lots of maybes and the Hong Sisters haven't hesitated to re-write history as they finalized the later scripts.
There might have been left over Soul Ejectors but there is no indication that Shaman Choi was using them and we were told that everything was destroyed except the book.. She didn't have the ice stone but she had the book. Jang Gang saved the book but didn't have the ice stone. Once he had both, he began to experiment. Since the whole Shaman Choi hex thing came at the very last moment, I think Hong Sisters made it up on the fly w/out worrying about the timeline. For the viewers who only care about the grand romance, they don't care.
And yes, the ice stone chaos began with Jang Gang but Jin Bu-yeon's birth was the catalyst. That's where the story started and where it will end (much to my dismay).
I can't recall the exact words but I thought Master Lee said something about Jang Uk needing the seven stars in order to deal with the chaos. I've always assumed that Jang Uk will need all 7 "stars" with him in order to kill Jin Mu and the soul shifters he is unleashing upon Daeho. They have never been named, but I notice that the Group Poster is Jang Uk plus 7 others. Might not mean anything. And for now, everyone believes that the Crown Prince has the Kings Star energy.
Again w/ new teaser, another reason why I donโt care for JBR. She is just a arch use to move the story along.…
Her name is Jin Bu-yeon ("JBY"). And her story is the beginning of the ice stone chaos and she (or possibly Jin Seolran) will be the end as she heals Jang Uk and destroys the ice stone.
About Naksu's father. How did he die?Jin Mu made him a soul shifter? That means his soul got shifted to another…
How did he die? The Four Families were involved and it appears that Park Jin specifically killed him. The rest of the story - Hong sisters kept changing the history.
All indications are that he had shifted souls - and at one point, it appeared that Jin Mu may have forced him to do so; that is, he was unwitting victim of soul shifting. But he was back in his body (supposedly) at the time he became wild thanks to the Shaman's bells and hexed Soul Ejector.
Here's where the writers really went off the rails: Shaman Choi wasn't making Soul Ejectors 20 years ago - she never had access to the ice stone then and didn't have access to it until 10 years later. Jin Mu didn't have access to it - Jang Gang was the only making Soul Ejectors and casting the spells. And yet in Ep. 20 (or was it 19), hocus-pocus - the Soul Ejector used on Cho Chung was apparently hexed by Shaman Choi and her spell caused him to go wild.
Other bad continuity - when Jin Mu and the Queen were talking on a cliff, Jin Mu was explaining what happened to Cho Chung and Jang Kang. Yet we find out later that she was supposedly involved with the Soul Ejector that killed Cho Chung.
I think it's nothing to do with reaching Hwansu, because he is not a soul-shifter. I thought his King's star energy…
King's Star simply means enormous energy - it appears to deal with the chaos brought by the ice stone. It didn't save him from Naksu's sword. The ice stone has the power to "bring back the soul of the dead".
I agree! But there appears to be a large contingent of viewers who are dissing BES. Maybe if AoS fans take a peek to watch Oh Nara, they will watch more.
I'm not a big celebrity watcher, but AoS has introduced me to a number of Korean actors/idols that I will keep on my radar - especially In-soo, Arin, Oh Nara and Joon-snag.

But ZERO on Naksu/Cho Yeong. And JBY's status is still "unclear".
Guess I finally have to update the Character chart, but don't know how I will find the time๐๐.
