I think there might be an epilogue (already filmed) to tie up loose ends.Crown Prince eventually becomes KingCho-yeon…
Based on the still cuts for Ep. 7, they will have more screen time TOGETHER and actually have scenes with the Crown Prince. and Master Heo. Good chance that Cho-yeon finds out what her father did to her since both Yul and Mama know about Woo-tak. It's crumbs at this point and I will enjoy each and every one of them.

As you know, I'm not that interested in the OTP so I don't think about it that much like I did in Part 1. I'm more interested in how Daeho survives - will Jinyowon crumble? Will Songrim rise again? Who will take over Cheonbugwon (Yul?)?

From the beginning (Part 1): "This story is about the mages of Daeho. Mages Fighting Against Fate." And Part 2: ""The story of Mages who defy their Fate""

What IS their fate? What are they fighting against? It's beginning to sound like their Fate is to protect Jinyowon. That's as far as I get. Actually, after Ep. 6 that's exactly where I have landed for now. But what that means for their survival, I've no idea.

Haha, I think the question is whether Kim Yeon is young enough to have children - and assuming she came to Daeho at the young age of 18 or so, the answer is yes. 🥰 If Park Jin survives, then he will return to managing the Songrim Mage factory (medical, training, mage governance) and Dang-gu will continue to run the business side because according to his character description, he has been doing a terrific job making money.

Mama Jin made it clear - the eldest daughter is the only one who can protect Jinyowon. It's the main reason I think Bu-yeon might survive.

Mama seemed to be more obsessed with the heritage of eldest daughter to eldest daughter. So, maybe doesn't apply to Cho-yeon?

I'm relying on In-soo and Arin's end-of-filming cakes and balloons. Baby blue and Baby pink. And In-soo intentionally flashing that wedding ring. 😄

I hope there won't be any more seasons and there's no indication that there will be. The story's been draggin…
I think young JBY will show up in the last episodes and perhaps finally provide some answers. The child actress was filming in late September.

I have no idea. My one vague thought is that if "JBY" survives, she will be blind because in Part 1 when JBY (the real JBY) emerged and used her power, Mu-deok was temporarily blinded.

As far as I'm concerned, Master Lee should just use his special Hwansu spells and kill Jin Mu and stop the insanity. But then we wouldn't have a story about Daeho mages fighting their destiny. The question is - what is their destiny? Pretty sure it won't be living happily ever after in a little cottage surrounded by kiddoes.

in Part 1, Maidservant Kim said that Cho-yeon and Dang-gu would have a big family and Park Jin said their boys would take the name "Park" after Mama Jin said the girls would take the name Jin. Therefore, Hong Sisters foreshadowed in Part 1. 😄They probably forgot all about in Part 2. 😥

I think part 2 have an open ending With part 3 announcement...There is no way they can finish rest of the story…

Cho-yeon and Dang-gu are married with boy/girl twins.🥰🥰🥰
Seo Yul is alive and well.

That's as far as I can predict. 😂😂

Most of the actors are moving onto new projects and roles. AoS fans will need to do the same.

Hong sisters should now announce that they are working on 3rd Part..because it's not possible to cover everything…
last night I was thinking about all of the BTS photos that have either been officially posted or leaked and I don't know how they are going to do it. But, I think they've been cutting out stuff they filmed.

Apparently, there were several child actors hired for the "lantern festival". They've been posting photos of themselves with In-soo/Dang-gu so quite a bit was filmed - but all we saw was Dang-gu flying through the air after the soul shifter. Everything else was cut. 😢

Seo yul even JUST thinking about killing himself and naksu is just unacceptable.Don't care for his 'for the greater…
Mama Jin said that the blood parasite would drive a person insane because of the pain. So, my impression is that the blood parasite/excruciating pain was causing his hallucinations. Based on the long preview for Part 2, Yul will survive (cured) and helps save the day in the big fight scenes. It might be Bu-yeon that cures him - maybe her affinity with the Jin blood, or the fact that some of his "energy" helped save her life in Part 1 or her divine powers or something else (Naksu-the-bird? ).

But then. . .I've always like the Yul character. He DID save Naksu's life after all.

What's up with the comments?? The latest comments seem to be from 13 days ago. We're 6 episodes in and not much…
Jung So Min portrayed three different personas (Naksu, Mu-deok and Jin Bu-yeon) throughout Part 1. She used two different voices/tones and her facial expressions and emotional scenes were very different depending upon which persona she was portraying at the moment. The romance w/Jang Uk was just one of her stories/relationships.

Today's Naksu might have the same face but writers have limited her to one persona that is suffering from amnesia. The romance is the pre-eminent story and for those viewers that place a premium on "chemistry", GYJ is delivering what they want.

Sometimes I wonder if the writers are going to pull a major twist and reveal her to be the real JBY - she is childish, pouts a lot, has affinity with animals, a princess waiting for her rescuer - just no relation to original Naksu or Mu-deok other than "memories".

I watched all of Eps 5 and 6 finally and started to write some notes on the Fire Bird because I can’t figure…
That's what Master Lee believes. But Jin Mu is already causing the drought with the ceramic birds and Jin Mu is planning to conduct the Rain Dance as quickly as possible. That's what doesn't make sense to me - he is already creating the drought and planning the Rain Dance and hasn't mentioned the Fire Bird to anyone (or did I miss that part???)

I have more questions than answers. And I'm not sure if someone edited my post to include the spoiler tag because I didn't intend to.

Can someone explain to me that all story with the fire bird? I didn't understand at all!!
I watched all of Eps 5 and 6 finally and started to write some notes on the Fire Bird because I can’t figure out who is scheming for what purpose.

Note 1: 200 years ago, the birth of a Fire Bird from a volcano brought about a terrible drought to Daeho. JSR performed rain dance that ended the drought and resulted in ice stone.
Note 2: Jin Mu has spent 3 years trying to bring about a drought with ceramic birds so that the Rain Dance will be performed, and another ice stone appear.
Note 3: Jin Mu has convinced the Queen that it is important to gain control of Jinyowon - but I'm unclear about the reason.
Note 4: Master Lee said that “these people” (Jin Mu/Royal Family) are trying to wake up the Fire Bird in order to cause the drought and get their hands on the ice stone.

Although, in the end and since this is Hong Sisters, it probably won’t matter because it’s going to be (not necessarily in this order) Ice stone. .hocus pocus. .fire bird. .Daeho chaos..Naksu sword..abracadabra. .Park Jin (Seo Gyeong?) sword. . .all roads lead to Jin Seol-ran..hocus pocus. . Daeho is saved. . .The End.

SO kind of random, but did they film the second season right after the first? I'm guessing they finished filming…
Based on ig photos, studio filming was complete last week of September but iirc, some location shoots continued into early October.

I was on episode 7 of season 1 and then I put it on hold. Can I skip the first season and just watch season 2…
The answer depends upon what you enjoy the most about the show. If it is the relationship between the OTP, then you will enjoy watching episodes in sequence. If it is the story of the "mages of Daeho", then Part 2 pretty much resets all of that such that the connection between the two parts isn't very important. I loved Part 1 - not thrilled with Part 2.

I also think that scene with Park Jin and Kim Do Ju about the two chesnuts drowning... Not a good sign.
I agree with you. In fact, for many episodes in Part 1, I speculated that Jin Mu didn't have ANY energy to speak of (except the ability to use Soul Ejectors which is sorcery). I was very surprised when he showed some power in the Cheonbugwan episode.

I interpreted Master Lee worrying about JBY's body clashing with Naksu's soul and that she might go wild. Assuming…
It seems that for the sake of simplicity (and translation) that everyone references Bu-yeon-The-Person even tho Master Lee and Mama Jin believe JBY is dead. for those of us who analyze the smallest clues and hints, it's very frustrating but most viewers don't seem to care about the nuance like you and I do. 😄

you are up late!
