Before I go to bed so that I can get up at 5:00 am to watch the live feed, let me just repeat that if we don't get to see the ChoDang proposal, I will automatically subtract one ⭐ from my rating. Good night - or good morning/afternoon wherever the fellow alchemists may reside. 😊😊😊
Very few people knew that Jang Uk was born with the energy of the King's Star - Jang Gang, Park Jin and Jin Mu.…
I'm not sure if she knows about the King's Star - she now knows about his "paternity" and I still don't understand that concept in the land of Daeho. 😊 But her knowledge of his paternity (son of the former King) now puts her at enormous risk.
It was the Choi brother all along. That was given as the reason she is such a powerful priestess.
The time lines do not match up. I think Mama Jin was pregnant with JBY before she met Woo-tak. That's why he was so positive that he wasn't her biological father.

There is NO WAY the viewer would be presented with the question and the answer all in one episode. Woo-Tak is not her father. The event time-lines don't match up for one thing (unless Hong sisters decided to ignore those as well as other "facts" previously told the viewer). I don't know who her father is - but I'm convinced it's not Woo-Tak.
ok so I just got done watching episode 19, and at the end the crown prince was talking with jin mu about the kings…
Very few people knew that Jang Uk was born with the energy of the King's Star - Jang Gang, Park Jin and Jin Mu. And Cho-Choong, but he's dead. That's it.
Mudeok/Buyeon has been used to bits and they will get rid off her in the end? That's effin harsh ya'll 💔
One of the tabloids said there there are 3 story stems continuing into Season 2 and one of them is JBY. So, call me crazy but I'm crossing my fingers that Bu-yeon's soul survives. Somehow.
Well it looks like we clearly see Naksu's body being burned. But I do agree with you, I came to the same conclusions…
Jin Mu is an expert at using sorcery to create illusions. If this is what happened, it's far easier to explain than the "ice stone surrounding Jeongjingak" nonsense.
Yea, though there will still be questions to be addressed as to how and why it was hidden (her body was officially…
In the scene where Jin Mu thanks his minions for their hard work and promising to swap their souls (right before ordering them to be killed), the body of Naksu was shown on the floor. He had it all along and there's no indication he presented it physically to the King or Songrim - he merely asked permission for a very public burning. A 30-second scene with Gil-ju would explain it. I think the bells might be part of that shaman "alter memories/ create new memories" trick (can't recall the actual words). Reminder - as far as we know, Jin Mu doesn't know that it's Naksu's soul in that body, does he? He thinks it is in the bottom of Lake G. in Ae Hyang's body.
Naksu's body was FROZEN when Gil-ju stole it from Songrim. Will that be the solution if and when GJY appears? I don't know. But it's an easy answer and it doesn't involve mumbo-jumbo creating from the ashes nonsense.
1. Jang Kang's reveal and redemption were atrocious. Even though he shat everywhere and on everything he could…
Well, we will learn sooner or later. I didn't say he cheated on Do-wha - they had a fast romance and marriage - I'm assuming after Bu-yeon was conceived.

I apologize - I wasn't clear and I didn't take notes today, but clearly there is some reason why Jang Gang was willing to bring Jin Mu on as an assistant. And somehow Woo-tak and Jin Mu were associated with each other. Shaman Choi and Jin Mu have been working together for a long time - how did they know each other? Jin Mu said that Bu-yeon's father was a descendant of the Choi family - that was a shock. It's not Woo-Tak. Woo-tak believes her father is Jang Gang. So, I'm just connecting some dots. And of course, if her father IS Jang Gang, then that throws a very nasty wrinkle into things, doesn't it - also gives the viewer a "positive" reason why Naksu cannot stay in Bu-yeon's (JSM's) body.

Aramintai, you and I have disagreed in the past, but sometimes I think only a handful of us are really watching this show in its entirety (and I admit, I've been FF through quite a bit recently). That soul-shifter non-sense at the end with Jang Kang made no sense - he had no need to do so if he went back to his original body after shifting with the King. Perhaps we will get some back-story in Season 2.
Based on what we heard today, I think Jang Gang is a descendant of Seo Gyeong and I believe Seo Gyeong was the original Choi who discovered Soul Ejector. I've re-watched those scenes and I think it's the same mage. Jin Mu using the shaman bells? he's a Choi - and therefor his relationship to both Jang Kang and Woo-Tak. Maybe the ice stone is gone, but the 200 year battle with the Choi family is not.
If Woo-tak survived, then I hope he isn't sacrificed again - should have just let him die. In the end, he DID care about Bu-yeon - that was a surprise.
I' would also like to understand how it was that So-i was able to remove the worm? It never made sense to me that the Shaman Queen would be willing to move into that body, but it was clear today that Jin Mu has been double-dealing her all along.
