Seo Yul has a terminal disease (parasite) and he will die in a few weeks (months?) if he is not treated soon. The balsam seeds will bloom in 3-4 months. . The soul shifters are about to start running wild thanks to Jin Mu's jingle bells. In the preview, the actors do not look like they have aged significantly. The one exception is Jin Mu (now white hair) and an easy explanation is that he gave up all of his energy to Naksu. I say 6 months max, primarily because Seo Yul will die if his situation is not resolved.

Jang Uk and "Naksu" (Cho Yeong) will not reunite (where he recognizes her) until at least middle of episodes.

I think we are to understand that when Shaman Choi set off the Soul Ejector , there was black smoke everywhere, Jang Gang arrived, Jang Uk set off the rainstorm, the Kings Star appeared. . . . . .and he managed to slip away. Many events on this show are never explained very well while other conversations are repeated over and over again to fill time.

I haven't finished Ep. 4 - stopped at the "childhood connection" scene and said WTF??? But then remembered, this is Korean comedy drama and it seems that 75% of all Korean rom-coms require that trope. Will finally have time to finish Ep 4 tonight. Enjoying the actors and the characters and looking forward to future episodes.

She's a fictional character. I simply lost interest in her and Jang Uk and enjoyed the show for other reasons - particularly the mystery surrounding Jin Bu-yeon and my favorite couple ChoDang. Lots of folks barely survived Part 1 because it dragged so much and yet they loved all the violence in the last 20 minutes of the series. I could say "how unfortunate for them that they didn't enjoy the show until the last part of Ep. 20" but I try not to judge too harshly because, in the end. . . . . . .people watch dramas for different reasons. 🥰

Please don't make assumptions about my comments. I have never liked the "Naksu" character - it has nothing to do with which actress is playing her. My point is that if JSM doesn't appear in Season 2, anything that happens with Jin Bu-yeon's body will need to be off camera and that makes me sad.

For the record, I NEVER, EVER criticize an actor or actress.

Master Heo was able to keep Master Kang "alive" even after petrification (not to mention burning) through some sort of mumbo-jumbo/hocus-pocus magic and he told the Queen that he could do the same for her if she began to have symptoms. So, no problem there. The real problem - no JSM in Season 2 to at least open up her eyes and smile. 😥😥

So, the Daeho science is established. Maybe they keep the body alive off-camera and do a soul transfer somehow. I don't care because I don't like Naksu, but like others, I'll be upset if JBY doesn't survive.

"But it's weird them saying Bu-Yeon is petrified for good". This morning, I read the article again. It says that MU-DEOK is petrified. I wonder if they are playing with us again.

As for why they went to the jump-off spot - that's probably where everything gets tossed. Mama Jin told Cho Yeong to toss the broken mirror and Gwiju into Lake G.

For the life of me, I don't understand the glorification of "badass" anyone killing innocents. Disgusting.

I'm thinking that the Queen is visiting her home - Seoho Fortress. They filmed for at least one week in a new/different location. The background for the throne is different (I think? I haven't looked hard to compare). We know that her brother (Yul's uncle) will be introduced. There have been instagram photos of venues with lots of bright colors - very different from Songrim/Royal Palace/Cheobugwan. Just my guess.

They would be fools if they tried and they know it. "Naksu the Assasin" was a creation of Jin Mu - most of her memories were false- she's gone. The writers have already signaled that it is Cho Yeong (not "Naksu") that has a parallel path with Jang Uk.

4- Forgiving Choi's brother made senses for Jin family but why did others not punish him for siding with her sister?

The plan was once Woo-tak was well enough, he would provide the information they needed to go after Jin Mu - that's why Jin Mu sent Assassin Naksu to kill him.

Season 2 will either begin or end in "3-4 months from current day". Why? Balsam seeds.

ChoDang fans on twitter are saying they are going to have a break-up (but not divorce) because Dang-gu didn't kill Naksu when he had the chance. I guess if you need a good excuse for a separation, that's a damn good one. I hope they are both training in earnest for whatever battle is coming and i loved watching them both try to take on trained assassin Naksu - they are both courageous characters and my favorite. Gone are the Daeho Social Butterfly and Celebrity. Bring on the warriors.

Actually, it says that Part 2 will also have 3 "trilogies" (which is a bit redundant).

If Bu-yeon's soul is still "alive", I could see this happening but it makes me sick to my stomach to think about it. BUT - if it's the only way to keep Bu-yeon alive. . . . . I could live with it. 😀

Jang Uk never saw Naksu's face in the secret room - when he talked about the body being frozen, it was gone (stolen by Gil-ju). But Heo, Park Jin, Yul and Dang-gu all saw it.

Well, it apparently worked for Ice Stone On Steroids Jang Uk. 😁
