Lol, haven't you learned that anything is now possible. Yes, as far as we know, Uk had both jades at the end of Part 1 - and the writers may not even bother to explain how the blue one ends up with someone else. In one of the previews, wasn't Uk holding onto both jades in one scene?
He became a member of it or something. In the spoiler photo, he was wearing a uniform (long robe), together with…
Well, that took some detective work! I originally saw it on twitter but finally remembered that it was originally posted on IG by one of the actors (Jang Eui-Don) in the Unanimous Assembly, so did MORE digging and found it at this link. Someone pasted photos on the heads and In-soo seems to be in back. Also a "mystery" mage. It looks like the Unanimous Assembly will appear in episodes 2,3,5,7,9,10.
They don't take spouse's last names (I think in Korea they just don't anyway). In S1 both Dangu and Janguk were…
In Ep. 20, they made an exception for Dang-gu. Cho-yeon and he were going to live in a house that was situated between jinyowon and Songrim. And they agreed that girl babies would have Jin last name and boy babies would have Park last name. So, I see this as foreshadowing that Cho-yeon and Dan-gu will have boy/girl twin. 😀
Why again is the Queen not going wild or petrified?? Is that Lady Heo's doing when they said she was tending to…
In Part 1, Master Heo told the Queen that Sejukwon had learned how to take care of (but apparently not cure?) soul shifters who had not totally petrified. Real question might be: can Jin Mu control her with the shaman bells??
I hate what they have done to both Dang-gu and Park Jin. But I tell myself, they are the two most professional…
Songrim is described as "the largest conglomerate in the country led by the Park family" and that's why Dang-gu is the richest man in Daeho. They seem to be in charge of most of the trade around Lake G - supply chain stuff. 😀So, the business side is clearly inherited and I've always assumed that it funds the Sejukwon (medical) and Jeongjingak (mage training). Perhaps training shifted to Cheobugwan?
It looks like Mul Gwishin the water ghost in Korean folklore https://youtu.be/YHVHUkvM78Y
But no real explanation yet? maybe some of those previously petrified bodies dumped into Lake G are returning. It seems stupid to me to add a whole new creature/entity into the mix when we only have 10 episodes. Crown Prince and ChoDang had fewer minutes than the "monster".

Good thought. I wonder if we will ever find out how the PARK family inherited Songrim. Dang-gu and Cho-yeon need to start making babies to keep it in the family!

I was searching through Twitter and finally it dawned on me to use key words "Park Jin Sword" and found the tweet from mid-November clearly identifying Park Jin's sword.

As many folks here know, I don't like Naksu and I don't care about her and Jang Uk. The other two couples were the only reason I was watching Part 2 (oh, and JBY - but they killed her off quickly). So watching Part 2 this weekend was - as you say - cringe worthy for me. According to tvN, Cho-yeon and Dang-gu have a love/hate relationship and they "form a complex and delicate relationship". Maybe Cho-yeon goes to Dang-gu for help when Uncle Seo comes knocking at Jiniyowon's door. Just a theory but it would be fun to watch. 😀

Based on photos around the internet, Uncle Seo eventually works with the Queen and Jin Mu to do whatever nefarious things they conspire to do. Jin Mu was always trying to marry off poor Cho-yeon to the CP. It's just a theory of mine, especially after that scene with Dang-gu and Uncle Seo (w/Yul) - they sure weren't very friendly towards each other.
LOVED the flying scene - which should mean that Park Dang-gu has reached Chisu level (Naksu is the only one prior who flies w/her sword) - but narrative seems to be that Dang-gu has practically given up practicing magic.

Park jin's sword is in at least one trailers(with the burning books). And it is in the new intro. Folks on twitter did a lot of photo comparisons. a couple of weeks ago after that trailer came out. I just can't tell if it is the same one as the one Park Dang-gu is carrying. I hope so - because if it is intro and trailers, it's important.
I skimmed MDL a couple of times over the weekend but was very, very busy - too busy to try and keep up with the conversations and since they were all about Naksu and jang Uk - I didn't have anything positive to say. 😀😀😀
Can anyone explain to me who or what is stalking the ice stone in Jang Uk and who/what is controlling them? Are they related to the ghosts swirling around Jang Uk?
I think we dont talk enough about crying baby Park Dang Gu. He was devastated. 🥺Do you think he will listen…
I hate what they have done to both Dang-gu and Park Jin. But I tell myself, they are the two most professional actors (training wise) and therefor capable of believable emotional scenes. Nevertheless, I cringed at what the writers have done to the two characters.
Meanwhile, is Dang-gu carrying around Park Jin's sword? That sword appeared a couple of times in the trailers and it is in the intro. Plus we know we get to see Dang-gu in some heavy fight scenes with his bow and arrows, so I am crossing fingers he will "man-up" soon.
Pretty sure Uncle Seo is going to try and marry Cho-yeon. Ugh.
with all the exciting hype about Naksu...i totally forgot that Jang Uk still doesn't know he's the late Kings…
There is an apparent "flashback" scene in one of the trailer s where long-haired Park Jin is trying to get Jang Uk to help (save the world??). In the background, you can see the long box (with the former King's medalion and a scroll) that Jang Gang left for Park Jin in ep. 20 (via Maidservant Kim) . Not sure if Park Jin tells him his birth secret or not - we'll have to wait.
